The shoe that is marketed that makes you 4% faster is "Nike's Vaporfly" I don't know about this zoomx invincible run flyknit 2, or is it the same? But that shoe is now banned from the competitive scene
You can't be serious - A '' Meat Promotion '' ? And all i get is the exact same message sent by you every time you do not like what i post . Well done -
I can tell by the Flyknit test that you guys didn't get the bottom anvil aligned correctly or something. The shoe pivots drastically, as if your hammer is more to the rear, and the anvil underneath the shoe was too far forward -- and I think that had an effect on your results. That's just how it looked to me. Maybe it just did that because the foam is at such an angle that it hits more in the rear I suppose. But it spent a lot of the energy tossing the shoe around, as opposed to bouncing the hammer back up. Not the most consistent test from what I can see.
the “4% faster” data isnt based solely on the zoomx midsole, its the combination of the carbon plate and zoomx foam along with it being super lightweight. plus the plastic int he heel is to provide some stability when running since the midsole is super tall and thick that your foot could roll wihtout that plastic piece
It's true that the 4% relates to the Vaporfly (which Weston does correctly say when talking about the NYT/strava statistics). It's also true that Nike focused on the carbon plate with their marketing about the Vaporfly and the Alphafly - I think "carbon plate" just sounds cooler than "new foam". But most of the technology that really made the Vaporfly faster came from the new ZoomX foam and not from the carbon plate - there is even some independent research showing that. There is also a lot of data that shoes that carbon plated shoes from other companies (Asics, Hoka, ...) (i.e. without ZoomX) will not give you such an advantage. In the end it's really mostly about the foam, and those other companies have not yet caught up on the ZoomX. You are probably right about the weight and other factors making this not quite a '4% faster' shoe.
Really loving the growth of the “garage science” aspect. Appreciate the level of detail of attempting to give quantitive evidence not just qualitative, plus the recognition of adjusting measurements when they’re no longer achieving intended desire. Keep it up
I know this strays a bit from the leather you're usually going through, but it's been valuable to see you do this. I don't own these or the Jordans you last dissected, but I do own some Nike Pegasus 39s and some tennis nike vapor pros, and I see elements of both on these shoes, though the vapors seem to share some concepts with the Jordans more than these. I'd love if you cut those 2 shoes apart as well, with both shoes being so popular in their fields.
one thing you didn't mention about the eyelets ripping at just over 100 lbs or the bar drop test, is that those are great metrics considering the weight of the shoe. Lots of shoes will have great individual metrics (like anything Boost) but to put it all in a package that's one of the lightest shoes out there makes a huge difference over the course of a marathon or even 5k
Gotta cut up some Nike Alphafly Next%'s, Asics Metaspeed Skies, or Saucony Endophin Pros. Those are all at the top of the running shoe game and have the most foam and carbon fiber plates. Asics Gel Kinsei Blast would be cool too since they've got a lot going on on the inside.
This is the absolute most comfortable shoe that I have ever owned. It is a treat walking around in these, and feeling the bounce with every step. I used to be a runner, but stress fractures and other injuries have turned me into a walker…I wish these were around when I was running. This would have eliminated all those shin splints and casts :(. Excellent shoe and if you never experienced it there is nothing like how this feels under foot. The color ways they come in are kinda crazy and it’s not the sleekest looking, and all that foam makes them a little clonky, but so what! I recommend it anyway!
According to studies, wearing cushy shoes for too long lead to weaker feet. So I suggest a balance. It’s never too late to keep your feet strong so you can enjoy your cushy shoes more.
@@chriswizo9891 You can buy footwear (or go barefoot) that allow your feet to naturally do its thing (bend, flex, splay the toes, no heel drop) such as minimalist shoes. This is important as letting your feet move, as with any muscle, makes them stronger. Don’t force it and listen to your feet, it’ll tell you all you need to know. Work your way up by walking barefoot around the house and gradually increase your time spent barefoot. Hope this was helpful!
Nike Alphafly is their most advanced running shoes, though. What Kipchoge ran a sub 2hr marathon in. While in the running space, Puma Nitro-series shoes would be interesting to see cut in half.
@@pablowaxa The carbon plate works great for race-shoes, but removes a bit of cushioning. I don't think I'd use AlphaFly's for the bulk of my running. Not that I have a pair, given the price. 🥲
Great video as always. Durability was very good on the outsole of this shoe after 100 miles or 160km. This shoe proves virgin zoomx is way better than this crushed up recycled stuff. Would be great if you took a look at the Pegasus turbo next nature. 👍🏼
@@EDDBUD thank you for the response. Yes, I saw your video (which is awesome btw). I guess the review I based my comment on was by someone who’s pair wasn’t stored right, so the foam started disintegrate after being damaged. Anyways, my own pair is still as good as new, but I didn’t put enough mileage on it to have a real meaningful feedback.
As many others said, this shoe is ridiculously comfortable, but their is a caveat. It feels like what my child self though air maxes would feel like. I work long hours on my feet and was getting extreme foot pain. Went with these as they had been reviewed as the most comfortable sneaker out there. These definitely helped with the pain, but after 2 months using them, I've realized my issue wasn't with cushion, it was with structure and support. Just my personal experience.
aren't those marathon shoes, designed to only be worn for a marathon and then thrown away? I thought I heard that about them but honestly it could be for a different Nike shoe with a % in the name. Nike needs to stop with these complicated ass names, lol.
@@NonLegitNation2I’ve had a few pairs of alphaflys. I’ve put at least 400-500 miles on each pair running marathons and using them for long runs during training. The outsole rubber is definitely thinner than most other running shoes but you can get a lot of life out of each pair.
The Nike Pegasus from 3 or 4 years ago for me was their best running shoe. When not in Jim Greens I run a few miles a day. Since they moved on from that design I’ve had to look and try other brands
The Pegasus 37 were my absolute favorite. I loved the foam that was used and it had so so much cushion. But it was almost too much cushion to run in. But for everyday wear and walking/standing for long periods, they were by far my favorite out of the 11 years I’ve worn the shoe. The 38s and new 39s don’t compare. Don’t even feel like the same shoe, definitely more compared to the 35s.
just the regular Pegasus or the zoom pegasus turbo? I have 3 pairs of the original zoom pegasus turbo and they are by far the most comfy shoes i own, more comfy than my Yeezy 350s. The only thing that comes close would be my Pegasus Trail 3s which i bought for work because I work outdoors and they are Gore-tex and waterproof, they're extremely comfy. I'm also a big fan of Nike Epic Reacts and after they changed the name the now Nike React Infinity Flyknit. They sucked for about the first 40 miles in them because the area that hugged my arch was way to tight and it was causing pain in my arch but now they feel great.
Such a comfortable shoe, bought a pair recently and just use it for walking, definitely going to buy another pair but the Asics novablast are also comfortable and will buy another pair.
i use them as work shoes in a warehouse on the daily. had to buy another pair after 5 months because the foam started falling apart in chunks but their so comfy that its worth the $80
I recently cut all the excess foam off the edges of this shoe to see if it was a better running model. No surprises it was by far more nimble and really doesn’t need the huge width underfoot.
5:40 that part is for hill support, widely used for beginner and even mid level runner shoes. Especially, if it says this is for beginner runners with knit upper, you can see them so commonly.
I’ve been wearing this shoes since their release, and after almost one year my considerations are: These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. Ultraboost? They’re bricks compared. New Balance 990? Concrete. Lunarlon? Bricks. React? They’re simular in bouncyness but not in softness. I also ran in them a few times to recover from the Vaporfly Next % 2. These are next level comfort for your feet. I’ve worked for NIKE enough to try almost every running shoe they have and these are umbeatable for their price (I’m not comparing them to race shoes like Alphafly or Vaporfly). My favorite shoe in the last 5 years to wear for work, for chilling and for small recovery runs by a mile
I totally agree with you that I have 5 pairs of these😅 But recently I tried the N.B SuperComp trainer, they are softer and more responsive than the Invincible and I think you should give them a try
Absolutely THE MOST cushy and plush sneakers on the market now and since. Nothing comes close to these. I have been chasing the initial sensation of putting on a pair of UltraBoost for the first time, and these Invincible Run does that and more. Perhaps not the best choice for all day comfort, as my older feets does find super-plush cushioning setups like Boost and React to cause fatigue at the end of the day, but for recovery runs and short stints, these are unbeatable.
I think they’re the best shoes on the market in terms of comfort and definitely the best feeling shoe after that first time you put on Boost. But I will say New Balance Fuel Cell super comp May be the best rival and from what I gather they’re fantastic they even look better.
@@DeanT1987 Contrary to popular opinions I actually like how the Invincible Run look. They certainly are a running sneakers, but not styled aggressively like most of the ultra plush NB running models. I like to rock them casually so models like the supercomp, 1080v12, RC Elite etc aren't what I'm looking for.
@@star42 they're actually very aggressively styled, and because of that many people find it hard to wear casually including myself, I prefer the look of the Infinity Reacts, UB22's or NB FF 1080v12. They're super chunky and I think that's why its styling is probably the worst part about the shoe, I think the issue with it is that everything about the shoe looks wide, while I appreciate the mid sole being wide (adds some stability).. they could've slimmed down the look of the upper and increased its height to take away from the wide and very flat look of the shoe, for example the padding around the back of the shoe that serves no function could be removed lessening the width of the upper.
@@jasonneverkovec2889 I can see! I won't doubt your expertise here good sir, I only wish I got that much time off, let alone to Disneyland! I wish your travels safe and adventurous!
The trainers are extremely comfortable and very bouncy! I was hoping these would help me to take up running after procrastainating for months, but after a couple of runs I finally decided I just hate running 🤦♀
So glad you covered these. Bought them a little while ago and they're easily the most comfortable running shoe I've worn. I used to run in Pegasus 38s and they made my legs sore. These ones have enough impact protection that it doesn't happen. I can run for longer in them
The outsole bounces less because there is no actual contact to the actual foam i mean while wearing them on your foot it would change nothing but thinking it of a ground and there is a hard extra layer at the top of the floor it would not make you bounce more so the outsole of the shou is just protecting don’t worry it wouldnt change something and make you less responsive or effective.
For light jogging at heavier body weight, these allieviated all my joint pain. I see some comments using it for work or standing for hours and I don’t think it’s a great idea because the way the shoe pushes you forward. Maybe ultraboost or some other plush shoes might be a better option for those uses. But for running/jogging these are fantastic!
I have these and I don't use them to run but more as just a casual shoe. And it is by far the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn nothing even comes close! Not ultraboost not yeezys not even other Nike shoes like the Nike Pegasus turbo nothing beats this shoe in comfort! I don't know what it's like to walk on clouds but when I walk in this shoe that's how I'd imagine it feels.
I use these, or the latest versions, I campaigned door to door when I ran for office. 4k homes, 300+ miles, 3 months. The rubber outermost sole doesn’t cover enough of the foam. It results in wear on ground impact points. Thickness does take time to get use to, early heel strike usually occurs. I went through 2 of these in the 3 months I campaigned. Definitely my go to for walking street shoe.
Bought a pair of these last summer, I have never owned a more comfortable shoe. It makes Boost and Zoom Air feel like old tech. I wish Nike would put this foam in more lifestyle models.
Zoomx Invincible Run is the most comfortable sport shoe ever! I have been wearing sport (running, tennis, basketball) shoes since 35 years (my first pair of Nike Pegasus in 1986), and I am amazed by the Zoomx! Great video as always! Love this channel 👏😍
The rubber green plate is meant for stability so that your ankle doesn’t sprain but it’s rubber because a lot of people complained on previous shoes that the plastic was too hard on their mid foot
And this shoe has the widest outsole for all Nike running shoes. Good for stability. Good for wide feet. Thanks for the review because I was about to suggest this shoe model because this is my dream shoe for my wide and big feet but no budget. More power to your chanel Yeezy 380s please, one of my dream shoes🙏
Great video as per usual!! It’s very interesting because I was getting ready to purchase these shoes lol now I’m definitely going to! Simplicity! Also I would love to see you guys do a episode on the new balance 9060’s model!! 👍🤘🙏🙌‼️ Keep up the great work‼️
Amazing original take on a shoe already reviewed so many times. Never knew about the insole construction, for instance. Hope to see more of your technical takes on more sneakers
I have seen several videos describing "how our shoes are killing our knees". The main idea - because of the extremely soft sole one runs wrong, putting all weight on a heel. The resulting stress goes directly to the knee through joints and bones. Guess why you have a pain in them after.. Another thing is that the softer the sole is the more your muscles should work to stabilise the foot position being on a high and soft "pillow" - guess what can cause shin splints. Third one - as there are no perfect people, usually one has pronation or supination. Soft pillow under the foot will make pronation/supination even more pronounced, as the high pressure area of a sole will go even deeper, and low pressure area will stay higher - guess what causes an ankle sprain. Instead it was proposed to try running with bare feet till it gets comfortable and see the difference - the main touch will happen not on a heel, but with the front side of the foot - it uses then a suspension system called "arch" developed and built-in by evolution within thousands of years with the only aim to strongly suppress the stress and localize it in a feet using arch muscle as a "spring", similar to a leaf spring in a car suspension. And this running style you can use wearing your sole protecting shoes.. look on ultra marathon guys and their shoes - they are mostly flat. I believe those guys know much more about natural and long-last running without injuries than Nike sell managers.
@@yianpap6093 I see your point. But these particular shoes, without reinforcement plate, redistributing the impact to the bigger surface, are just big soft comfortbale, for sure, pillows.
@@TushhsuT Yes, I see your point too of course. Research is often contradictory, I've recently read that flat shoes are not great either for the average person and that if your running style is correct then some protection is better. Are there shoes too soft and require already strong ankles and ligaments to be used with no problems? Don't know, I have these shoes but I haven't used them yet (I just use then to do jumps inside the house while minimizing the landing impact). Outside I run on plush grass with some older Asics. I hope I can use then regularly on asphalt in the winter with no problems. Let's see:)
i'm 295lbs and haven't figured these out yet. the slope of the front of the shoe is a bit too aggressive for me. I wish it carried the thickness. it is comfortable on the heel no doubt. strangely, i am normally a 12, but found these super wide and returned a pair to go to the 10.5 size. maybe it was just the asian model? (bought in manila). Thanks for the video dude. you have good stuff.
They are meant for running on the road, first hand experience, I feel the grippers, and they do be grippin. It kinda launch's you forward in design. Feels like a cloud that moves w your foot. TBH fire running shoe, they're created FOR the road, hence the grippers.
Usually a pair of running shoes lasts me six months, max. I have had a pair of these ‘invincibles’ for 10 months, and they have maintained their structure and outsole. Also, one design element you didn’t mention was the heavier rubber on the inner heel and outer forefoot which reduces the wear-and-tear where people are most likely to strike when running. All-in-all, a pretty good running shoe for mid-level, regular runners.
You should do a series with all the Nike Zoomx technology ( ex. Alphafly, Vaporfly, streakfly, and tempo next%). Would definitely like to see the many similarities and differences of each shoe. (:
The point of this foam is to disperse the energy of the impact across the entire surface of the sole on every step that's why it flakes more than others foams and the results of the tests show that the concept of the shoe is to have more "bound" instead of rebound to get a more natural feel while running
This is one of my absolute favorite models from any brand. I like them so much that I bought multiple pairs. Easily one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you getting out of your comfort zone with this but hearing a non runner explain running shoes is pretty hilarious. I’m still loving the work you’re doing even if the facts are a little shaky.
THE PLATE adds stability as the increased area of the clip acts as a outrigger and increased cushioning as theres more foam surrounding the outside of the heel, which the clip compresses down kinda evenly
It would be cool to see you do Nike’s vapor flys or alpha flys which are their top end race shoes and then maybe compare them to other brands super shoes.
I like your teardown and comparison. Interesting insights with the drop tests. The invincible is not marketed as a faster and more efficient shoe, but as a more forgiving option. Nike even claims, that the it reduces the likelyhood of injury. The faster shoes are the Vaporfly/Alphafly.
Thought the Infinity React was the one they made a big deal about injury prevention with. Similar shoe, has a wider base, and obviously uses React in the middle instead of ZoomX. They may be hyping the injury prevention benefits of this shoe as well with it taking the place of the Infinity React as their top end daily trainer. I do wish they still made the Pegasus Turbos, those were fantastic for both speed work and recovery days. Something about that dual foam midsole just felt so good...
@@BWM135 yes, the infinity run was the first shoe with this claim. They expanded this claim to the infinity 2 and invincible (see project fearless) by comparing these shoes to the original infinity and detecting no difference (easiest shortcut, lol). I love my invincible but have never run in the pegasus turbo. Isn't there a new version out although a bit different, heavier and with recycled foam ?
I have these, amazing comfort, the feel so comfortable that they feel very unnatural. One thing to note all the zoom x shoes I've had have split the bottom zoom x, the rubber in the bottom splits away from the zoom technology. Last pair of invincible run cracked under two months, lucky I had the 2 month warranty Nike offers, they only lasted me around 70 miles of running.
The ZoomX foam that Nike uses is their variant of the Pebax foam invented by Arkema. Reebok and New Balance also use this type of foam, but I believe no one does such a huge slab of pure foam like Nike does with the Invincible. As to durability, it's a mixed bag and a lot of variables, but for a lightweight individual who jogs, this foam will last a long time, arguably more so than pretty much any other. But there seems to be a tipping point with this foam, so that heavier users will wear it out much faster than other foams - strange. Also, because this is a very soft foam, it is easy to rip out chunks of it by impact with sharper surfaces, far more so than other foams.
Nike's best running shoe is the Vaporfly and Alpafly. This is more of a slow/recovery day (run) shoe. However, the Invincible is good for its intended use, but the other two shoes are better race day shoes. The Vaporfly was the king of running shoes for a few years.
I own these shoes and they are ABSOLUTELY INSANE!! No gimic, you're literally walking on marhmallows that have crazy rebound. The reviews are through the roof on these sneakers and that's why I grabbed them. Don't knock em until you try em.
Wouldn't been interesting to hear you talk more about the grip or do some kind of traction test on these. I used the flyknit's 2-3 years ago and loved how light and comfortable they were but switched to Pegasus's because I felt the all foam bottom grip wore down pretty quick and had notable issues with the grip especially if there was any kind of rain or wetness.
@@mylesgalos6465 I'd say so, especially if your using as a day to day running shoe because of how quick the grip went out. I think these are designed more to be performance race day shoes to be fair though.
Please do New Balance Lerato, it's a dad sneaker style running shoe for slow runs with a carbon plate and fancy NB foam. Basically all the New Balance techs in one shoe and supposedly high quality upper materials.
A proper quantitative science method would begin by calculating the sample size you need, which comes from the specificity of the difference you're trying to measure, as well as the error in your measurement. So, if you're trying to measure a 10% change between two shoes, you're going to need a much bigger sample than if you're trying to measure a 50% change. It sounds inverted, but it's not: if the difference between the shoes is as big as 50%, then you don't need a lot of tries to see it. Thankfully, what you're trying to measure is classical physics, which usually requires a much smaller sample size than basically any other science... on the other hand, to have a small sample size, you need to make sure that the error in your measurement is low. So you have to make sure that the experiments happen in the exact same way, you can't have the ball fall on the wrong place. I don't think the tests would vary that much on the same shoe if the ball was hitting the same place, and you can't argue that falling in a different place is fair game because you want to see the overall value; you need a different sample size for each place for which you want a score. The smarter thing is to choose the one spot carefully, a spot that's more important, or whose conclusions are generalizable to the entire shoe, and have the ball fall accurately at that spot. Anything below the calculated sample size means that you can't reach scientific conclusions; research in statistics shows that low sample sizes will not only get a bigger/smaller difference compared to the real difference, but it may altogether invert the order of the difference. So, with a small sample size you might think that one shoe is better than the other, when the opposite is the case.
Just a heads up this is recommended for recovery days and daily training , not meant for speed.. Soft and squishy for easy training .. . their marathon race shoes with carbon plates are for speed ..
amateur runner here: - i did over 800 km with the invincible so far - 14 km runs, at least 21 times per month, little under 5'/km this is not possible without them (or without max cushioned shoe)
The plastic heel caps are to help with stability. These shoes are known to be very unstable, so I wonder how much more they are unstable without the plastic parts. Also it's the NEXT% running shoes that are Nike's premium line. The Invincible Run 2 is more so for a daily trainer for those who want max cushion. It's actually a great shoe, though pricey.
UPDATE: WOW THE SHOE SOLE SEPARATED AFTER 2 MONTHS IN. 200+ dollars on ashoe for the glue to not hold up! I bought one of this because of this video and i have to say it's best shoe I've ever had. It's amazing and I couldn't be more grateful for this video.
As a former buyer for an Australian sports retailer, with the different brands, it tends to come down to how much cushioning vs shock absorption they are going for. For example, I love the feeling of the Nike Pegasus cushioning, but I know from experience the ASICS Cumulus is better for my knees & hips. Unfortunately with shoes, it’s all trial & error to find what’s right for you.

I usually wear Superfeet insoles in all my other shoes but this shoe I have no need for the superfeet insole. I wish more shoes came with the ZoomX foam other than the Vaporfly lineup.
The ZoomX Invincible Run is probably the most comfortable shoes to wear, my nurse friend was really grateful when I recommended this shoe to her as it is very very comfortable. But the Vaporfly is probably the best running shoe and that's why it's banned from some competitions. lol

You should make a video of how Nike make you spend money in shoes and then have to return them due to defects (All Shoes with Zoomx). It makes you faster but doesn't last long. Until the sole and upper part start to split
If we are talking Nike running shoes, I would wager that for competition running, something akin to the Vaporfly Next% 2 or the Alphafly Next% would be better as a running shoe than the Invincible Run, especially since they are purpose built for competition running and feature a different mesh upper (vaporweave and atomknit respectively)
A lot of people don’t know but the first version of the ASICS Novablast came out with a knit upper called the Pixel Noise. The Novablast are like a mini invincible or invincible Jr. They are a more fun and versatile shoe than the invisible.

Work your way up by walking barefoot around the house and gradually increase your time spent barefoot.
Hope this was helpful!
@@imjustariceguy wouldent this aggravate plantar fasciitis? Or inflame it more?
Nike Alphafly is their most advanced running shoes, though. What Kipchoge ran a sub 2hr marathon in.
While in the running space, Puma Nitro-series shoes would be interesting to see cut in half.
Yes, the shoe he has is not Nikes best running shoe
Alphafly has a Carbon plate which is supposed to improve the performance, would be very interested in a video about it🙂
@@pablowaxa The carbon plate works great for race-shoes, but removes a bit of cushioning. I don't think I'd use AlphaFly's for the bulk of my running. Not that I have a pair, given the price. 🥲
The 4% claim is specific to one of their models with a carbon fiber plate. Not this model.
Great video as always. Durability was very good on the outsole of this shoe after 100 miles or 160km. This shoe proves virgin zoomx is way better than this crushed up recycled stuff. Would be great if you took a look at the Pegasus turbo next nature. 👍🏼
I have a question, does the foam/cushion bottom out quick or do they still feel bouncy/cushy even after those miles?
@@orangetweleve they tend to retain their bounce for the whole lifecycle (which could be short if you damaged the integrity of the midsole)
ua-cam.com/video/G-SOJAUpxm8/v-deo.html
@@romantrilo I chopped off all the excess foam on an old pair and it was still nimble for half marathon pace at over 250 miles.
I’m a huge fan of the Nike Pegasus. I would imagine they off more structure and support with comfort than these Nike foams.
You’re right. I’ve had these for like a week and realized pretty quick they’re great for running or walking and not so much for standing.
This is a training shoe, for slow long runs. I did 650 km on my pair, still feel fresh
Just a clarification. Nike’s best running shoes are the Alphafly Next%, not the ones in this videos. You should cut one of those in the future.
aren't those marathon shoes, designed to only be worn for a marathon and then thrown away? I thought I heard that about them but honestly it could be for a different Nike shoe with a % in the name. Nike needs to stop with these complicated ass names, lol.
@@NonLegitNation2 oh no no. yes it has poor milage but you'll easily get 150 miles at peak condition then you could use them more for training
Yea I got to try them on... Literally the most bouncy shoes I've ever tried
@@NonLegitNation2I’ve had a few pairs of alphaflys. I’ve put at least 400-500 miles on each pair running marathons and using them for long runs during training. The outsole rubber is definitely thinner than most other running shoes but you can get a lot of life out of each pair.
False…
The Nike Pegasus from 3 or 4 years ago for me was their best running shoe. When not in Jim Greens I run a few miles a day. Since they moved on from that design I’ve had to look and try other brands
The peg is such a solid shoe! One of my absolute favs!
Loved the 34s
I have the first version of these and 3 pairs of Nova Blast 2. Love em.
i use them as work shoes in a warehouse on the daily. had to buy another pair after 5 months because the foam started falling apart in chunks but their so comfy that its worth the $80
I recently cut all the excess foam off the edges of this shoe to see if it was a better running model. No surprises it was by far more nimble and really doesn’t need the huge width underfoot.
5:40 that part is for hill support, widely used for beginner and even mid level runner shoes. Especially, if it says this is for beginner runners with knit upper, you can see them so commonly.
Yes
It's getting close to a Croc in sport mode!
Vaporfly or Alphafly next please! They definitely faster than these and they have a carbon plate inside the zoomx foam.
I’ve been wearing this shoes since their release, and after almost one year my considerations are:
These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn.
I totally agree with you that I have 5 pairs of these😅
But recently I tried the N.B SuperComp trainer, they are softer and more responsive than the Invincible and I think you should give them a try
@@ehabghabbour1552 i’ll give it a shot
These are my go to shoes for trips to Disneyland. My feet feel so much better at the end of the day since I started wearing them there.
How much do you go to Disneyland, man? Lol
@@coopersand911 two 5 day trips per year. We do about 11-13 miles a day. Trust me these are feet savers!

I can run for longer in them
Dope. I'm actually about to go for a run in my Nike ZoomX Invincible Run Flyknits as I type this message. Keep em comin, man. Loving the videos.
I'm a nurse and on my feet for most of my 12 hour shifts. These shoes are the most comfortable to stand in and walk in for long periods.
Ok bro just wearing the Hypebeast brands 😁 Did u know there are other more legit running shoe manufacturers like asics l, saucony, hoka, an mizuno? 😁
Keep up the great work‼️
Amazing original take on a shoe already reviewed so many times.
So ultra marathon guys know, but top level marathon guys who wear Nike's do not, I see.
All-in-all, a pretty good running shoe for mid-level, regular runners.
mines lasted a little over 5 months being used 5-6 days a week still worth buying another for that comfort.
You should do a series with all the Nike Zoomx technology ( ex. Alphafly, Vaporfly, streakfly, and tempo next%). Would definitely like to see the many similarities and differences of each shoe. (:
I think this would be a great series of videos.
Would love to see how Nike React foam compares!
The point of this foam is to disperse the energy of the impact across the entire surface of the sole on every step that's why it flakes more than others foams and the results of the tests show that the concept of the shoe is to have more "bound" instead of rebound to get a more natural feel while running
you dont want energy disperse, you want energy return
I would LOVE that you make the CUT un half of the Ultraboost 1 ... The one that started all this reactiv materials and this soles "fight"
The plastic in the back of the shoe is meant to stabilize you during running as the stack height is really tall
This is one of my absolute favorite models from any brand. I like them so much that I bought multiple pairs. Easily one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.
hey rose anvil, the invincible are not supposed to make you 4% faster or to make your times better, they are daily trainers (relatively slow miles)
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you getting out of your comfort zone with this but hearing a non runner explain running shoes is pretty hilarious. I’m still loving the work you’re doing even if the facts are a little shaky.
Easily the most comfortable training shoe, I’ve ever owned. Great video👍🏻
rose anvil i hope you never switch the style up like h3h3 or any of these other youtubers turned cool to annoying, your content is just pure gold
I own a pair of these. Very comfortable. Really enjoy walking on these. I also use them for working out (aerobic) and they perform pretty well.
I owned a pair of these and ran them into the ground! I loved them so much that I’m going to give the third version a try.
I own 3 pairs of these. I highly recommend this shoe. It's fantastic!
I recently bought these for running and they are AMAZING
I think you might be confused. This is Nike's max cushion easy day/recovery shoe. Nike has 2 carbon plated racing shoes, the Alphafly and Vaporfly.
I own these shoes and they are ABSOLUTELY INSANE!! No gimic, you're literally walking on marhmallows that have crazy rebound. The reviews are through the roof on these sneakers and that's why I grabbed them. Don't knock em until you try em.
I have 3 pairs of the V1 and they are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn
I have these and they are by far the most comfortable show I ever wore.
Maybe overpriced?
@@mylesgalos6465 I'd say so, especially if your using as a day to day running shoe because of how quick the grip went out. I think these are designed more to be performance race day shoes to be fair though.
Please do New Balance Lerato, it's a dad sneaker style running shoe for slow runs with a carbon plate and fancy NB foam. Basically all the New Balance techs in one shoe and supposedly high quality upper materials.
When I wore this shoes, it's always tend to make me run faster compare to other shoes, maybe because of the bouncy sole
Soft and squishy for easy training .. . their marathon race shoes with carbon plates are for speed ..
amateur runner here:
- i did over 800 km with the invincible so far
- 14 km runs, at least 21 times per month, little under 5'/km
this is not possible without them (or without max cushioned shoe)

Absolutely outstanding the intention to traeat the sneakers on this engeneering style
Thank you for this video!!!! More running shoe reviews!

I believe I told you to look at the first version of these and the ASICs Nova Blast 2 last year. Crazy comfortable shoes.
I think the green thing near the heal is added for stability and less rubber on the sole reduces weight
"garage science" love it. that made my day.
@RoseAnvil just got diagnosed with this fancy foot doc term. Would love to see you design an PNW boot for people with flat feet and messed up backs. Even include some boost in a PNW boot haha...
This is by far the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. It has ruined all other shoes for me, nothing comes close to the comfort.
But the Vaporfly is probably the best running shoe and that's why it's banned from some competitions. lol
So good!! We need a Cortez video please!

Hi, you'll probably never read this but, I'd love to see a pair of adidas forum 84 hi cut open, not only for it's history, as one of the most advanced basketball shoe for it's time, but also for the material and the technology that it offers.
Sorry for any grammatical error🙃
Edit: I know they released more than a year ago, anyway they are still a very cool shoe
Been looking forward to this one! Many thanks!
I bought 2 of these just because of how comfortable they are. Great video.
I have these. Fantastic bounce and definitely posting fast run times
