I'm an undergraduate, native English speaker majoring in and preparing for my linguistics major and I've found this grammar to be intuitive but never have I understood how to express it. This video helped me out a lot! Little did I know that there are 4 types of phrasal verbs! Thanks, Anglopod.
Sorry for the late reply! That's great to hear. I found out about this when doing my DELTA years ago. It made me look at phrasal verbs in a whole new light! I'm glad it helped and I wish you all the best with your studies. Linguistics is fascinating ;)

In our curriculum, we must memorize the phrasal verbs with their meanings in Arabic and English They also have more than one type transitive, intransitive, separable, and intransitive this is very difficult

thank u prof : )
My pleasure Nadia! ;)
Well explained. Prefer the tutorials without a constant musical accompaniment.
Thanks very much Nick. I love music but you're right, it might get a bit distracting ;)

The best way is to learn them in context rather than in a list, which can be more confusing
nice
Cheers!
