*** Tina posted her video on December 12, 2015, Steve VAI watched it on December 13, 2015 and tweeted congratulations to Tina and reposted the video on his page. And Tina S replied : "I am honored!! Thank you Mr Vai"
This is one of very few covers I know that I actually prefer over the original. It is absolutely fenomenal! Steve is an insanely good guitarist but this version speaks to me on an emotional level that very few musical moments does.
Agree. Tina eats guitars for breakfast. She let guitars smile, cry, laugh, screem. She talks with guitars. Her fingers are dancing over the strings. Tina brings the guitars to live. She,s breathing guitars. Yeh for sure her cover is better then the original.
I agree. I've heard Steve play this a couple of times, and, Tina's version is by far the best. What a young virtuoso she is. 10 out of 10. My favorite cover that she plays is the 'Loner', by Gary Moore. Her bends and vibrato are amazing, and full of emotion!
This made my Friday. By far my favorite cover of Tina's. Steve Vai is a guitar god, but there's something about his compositions that have never resonated with me. Tina took his original masterpiece and changed it to fit her style. Those changes hit home with me. Depending on my mood, this cover sometimes gets my energy moving and other times reduces me to tears. My next favorite is Altitudes, followed by The Loner. Two more pieces that require the feel/emotion. By the way, she had just turned 15 when the Pink Floyd cover was released. She's 16 in this one.
I told you this one is her best, imho ;) And she particularly loved this one too, she stated it's one of her fav guitar solos, and you can see in her body language she's really into it. Feels, feels errywhere, lol
Def the best I've seen From her so far. At least in my undoubtfuly subjective opinion. Yeah, you can tell, she likes this one and reaaaally Feels it. The whole time. That was something else!!
Her cover of Jason Becker's Altitudes is every bit as impressive; and her cover of Gary Moore's The Loner reduces me to tears, albeit absent the shredding seen in her other covers.
--Tina S interview : "For The Love Of God is a very complex piece musically, technically, structurally," she said. "Playing was a real goal, I'm very proud of its success."
I love how the Closed Captioning speaks words for her playing. IT's says, "SO" and "WOW", and that's how you know she is speaking through the instrument. Powerful song played wonderfully by this brilliant musician. Love Tina S
I'm a guitarist too and my thoughts exactly. This is by far her best. The emotion of this one brings a tear to my eye every time and I listened to it a lot over the years. Everything is perfect, her wammy bar use crazy good and often overlooked in reactions. You will listen to this again and again guarantee. 👍
Same. Musician, composer, etc.. This is 'the one' from Tina. It's amazing how she completely transforms the song even though it's close, very close, to the original. It feels almost like Vai wrote it for her to eventually find and play because she just ruins the world with it (in a good way). Even the 'shred' in the middle is unlike almost anything I've heard musically. Distinct and precise yet a kind of earthquake of back and forth with occasional eruptions of harmonics or bar bends that she tames like the goddess of earthquakes themselves. I would love to have heard the discussions with her teacher about this interpretation of the piece. I think of all her covers it really shows how much creatively she has to share.
Aucun mots ne peut decrire une performance pareil, le plus dur maintenant est d'esseyer de reprendre sa guitare... Merci pour ta reaction. On te sent toucher... No words can describe such a performance, the hardest thing now is to try to resume that guitar after... Thanks for your reaction. We feel you touch... google translate...hope to be understood
Great reaction Joker...I'm a huge fan of Tina, as well as Nightwish 🤘😁. I really respect your honesty. This cover is amazing, as is 'Altitudes' by Jason Becker. Hope you react to that one next. I don't think you'll be disappointed
This young lady (I've followed since 8), is a classically trained guitar player who's having fun in this genre. Her 2 favorite influences are Orianthi and Ana Vidovic (classicl). Not bad choices.
Tina S - Through the fire and flames, altitudes, arpeggios from hell, the loner. You went on about timing in Moonlight Sonata, at a look at this one: Moonlight Sonata Cover By Tina S Chart For GH3PC/Clone Hero Also another mix: Tina S and Sina - The Trooper [Iron Maiden] cover Sina-Drums is still active, latest is Mrs Robinson, but she's done two Albums Chi I and Chi II. Mostly covers from Starr to Paice. Her channel is about promoting live music not DAWs, so she is always collaborating with different artists, musicians, and composers. She explains it better, search here: Sina videos quadrupled! You can start off with: Sound Of Silence (cover); Sina feat @JadynRylee, Summer Rolling - Sina drums
tina is on a whole different kinda level dave/marty aint easy to cover flawless hell steve vai/herman li had oh shit moments on their twitch views of her covering their music
Agree with you on this one over comfortably numb but give her Jason Becker cover a listen, Altitudes, it's perhaps her finest technical piece but with major feels if you are a fan of the genre and especially if you enjoy sweep picking. ua-cam.com/video/NhKEBTz2N28/v-deo.html
Nice react, please react for Ayu Guzfans girl guitar from Indonesia Dragon Force Through the Fire and Flame too. She is 13 year old and very amazing too. Thank you.
May I submit a request for some reactions to Joanne Shaw Taylor on a future Guitar Friday installment? Here are two suggestions: * "Watch 'Em Burn" -- a solo-heavy original song of hers -- ua-cam.com/video/JbkfXapebSo/v-deo.html * "Wild is the Wind" -- her cover of the famous Bowie song, with special attention to the outro solo after a "false ending" at around 6:00 -- ua-cam.com/video/3vjQA44xvRg/v-deo.html
When you can out perform Steve Vai, that says something. I can't think of a guitarist who can outperform her. She is the pinnacle against whom all others will be judged. And I don't think she can be knocked off her pedestal. Nobody knows what happened to her. I hope she is alive and well, but whatever happened, I would really like to know. It isn't right that such a talent just disappears without a trace,
"I have never heard the song. It's from Steve Vee"🙄 It's Steve Vai (!) and if you have never heard this one passing by, you'd better get rid of this podium. No offense.
My problem is...is she's playing it like a robot. It sounds like she have no feeling in the song. What makes the og great and all his great songs amazing is the feeling he puts into the playing.
She is in Heaven Conection..She is a Goddess of Music...Every time I hear this can't avoid tears..😪
For me Tina Sedwick is one of the best female guitar player of the world!!!😂❤🎉
Vai openly stated that he loved this and thinks it's better that his own version, praise indeed.
A Goddess of Guitar!!!

Good cover but just no.

You can hear her hugely improving year by year, it's quite amazing
She made it worse...
@@hitmixhyepock9405 You're entitled to an opinion, but it's quite a hot take and misguided. Think that all you want, but you're wrong.
I told you this one is her best, imho ;)

This was by far her best cover. Her masterpiece. I didn't even find a version by Steve Vai that thrilled me that much. 👍😲😀🇩🇪
Her cover of Jason Becker's Altitudes is every bit as impressive; and her cover of Gary Moore's The Loner reduces me to tears, albeit absent the shredding seen in her other covers.
Altitudes is probably my 2º fav, yep
Agree totally. Her cover of Altitudes is mind blowing. But the one of Gary Moore's Loner is the cream of the drop for me.

She is back! With a band 🤩
Can’t wait to listen to her new music 😊

This is my favorite as well. I really appreciate your honest, heartfelt reaction. Glad I came across your channel.
This is my favorite Tina S cover 👍
Agree. Have only seen a few so far. But this one was the best for me.
Tina S, is one of the best guitarists out there. She is so talented.
Great reaction Joker...I'm a huge fan of Tina, as well as Nightwish 🤘😁. I really respect your honesty. This cover is amazing, as is 'Altitudes' by Jason Becker. Hope you react to that one next. I don't think you'll be disappointed
Thanks a lot!!!
good choice for your reaction, we are just hopin' that she'll come back to yt
Would much more love to see her on a stage making her own music! Might be more fullfilling to her. She is definitely pretty amazing!!!
This young lady (I've followed since 8), is a classically trained guitar player who's having fun in this genre. Her 2 favorite influences are Orianthi and Ana Vidovic (classicl). Not bad choices.
My fav also. Partially because she was completely involved.
great reaction! try her Altitudes cover, You ll love it too.
Liked your reaction, it was real. This one is her best piece, straight from the soul 🙂 Recommend John Norum 'Shimmering Highs'
Great reaction!! THX👍
Thanks for watching!
So where can we find some of your videos Joker?
Tina S - Through the fire and flames, altitudes, arpeggios from hell, the loner.

Try Tina setkic cover of Gary Moore The Loner, awesome thanks requesting 😎
Damn it would be great, if I could wake up tomorrow and be able to play like that
Her version of Jason Becker's "Altitudes" is as impressive as this one for me personally at least, both technically and musically.
She’s back ….. 🤪👊💥
I think even the most technical demanding solos are just finger exercise for her, but she is feeling this.
This is zee time on “Sprockets” that we Dance.
The guitar solo that David Gilmour played on Comfortably Numb, live in 1994 is said to be the greatest solo of all time by many guitar greats.
French Best of thé best👍👍👍👍
tina is on a whole different kinda level dave/marty aint easy to
cover flawless hell steve vai/herman li had oh shit moments
on their twitch views of her covering their music
For me this ties with the David Gilmour's comfortably numb Pulse solo as my all time favourite.
It's so sad that she stopped. She is so insanely talented... This is savant level stuff especially when you consider how young she was...
Well, she's back now, with her new band Spin Twice. 🙂
Suggestion for the next one of Tina: Either Fire and Flames, or Tornado of Souls.
Hand on heart, as a guitarist myself, I genuinely prefer Tina’s version of this to the master himself…..
I like Tina S's Comfortly Numb better than the original by David Gilmore.
Tina only does super difficult pieces.
Try her cover of The best of times, by Dream Theater. This is still better but it's definately worth a review.
Reakt to Tina s dragon force gittar solo... After this junna dragon force drum Cover!!! Insane!!!! 🙌 🙌 🙌
Check Altitudes, a Jason Becker cover Tina did................. pretty much same level as this, possibly even more intense
Next react to young talented guitarist Abim Finger ft. Andre Dinuth - Future 🤘🇮🇩
Nice react, please react for Ayu Guzfans girl guitar from Indonesia Dragon Force Through the Fire and Flame too. She is 13 year old and very amazing too. Thank you.
very nice
Thanks

Try The Loner.
I love when a pseudo-guitarist allows himself to judge someone who is 100 times better than him !!!!
You should listen to Gus draxs he's brilliant as well
Waiting for Gary Moore.
My only comment,... Too many "wha's" This is a mostly clean song.
You are a guitarist and you never heard , for the love of god? His most famous piece? Hahahahaga
I never really listened to steve Vai at all
"I have never heard the song. It's from Steve Vee"🙄
It's Steve Vai (!) and if you have never heard this one passing by, you'd better get rid of this podium. No offense.
ВИЕ СЛЯИП ЛИ СТЕ? ИЛИ ЗВУКОВО БОЛЕН? ТОВА Е РАЗЛИЧЕН ПЪТ..
Too bad she stopped playing, she is now a primary school teacher.
Where did you find that info?
Fake news.
please don't send your mv or video or your can play guitar 😂😂😂
plase see what is guitar 😊😂😂😂😂
My problem is...is she's playing it like a robot. It sounds like she have no feeling in the song. What makes the og great and all his great songs amazing is the feeling he puts into the playing.
In my opinion, you've never seen a robot play the electric guitar.
You, on the other hand, are a real clown!
