I'm using my native alphabet and native words. And the hardest part was creating word for every pair. Remembering with Anki is easy part of this. Thank you Jack
90% is really high, you shouldn't be concerned with memorising everything in one go unless you're like at least sub 30. But you can definitely start reducing reviews, don't worry if your accuracy halves - back when I practised, I was maybe 50-60%ish. But you definitely need to push yourself more
what about memorizing the entire sequence, for example, I can convert the letter pairs into images but I still cannot make a good story to connect all the. images together in the correct order, so can you help with that? plus sometimes I end up confusing an old story from a previous solve with the current solve
I know I'm late, but I usually just imagine a each object on one of the walls of my room. Then while solving I basically walk through my room and look at each wall (in my brain).
@@JackCaiCubing Yeah sounds right, I mean honestly I'd never thought to use it for blind letters so this is my first time haha but it is useful when I study or um learn square-1 cubeshape algs etc
What do we do if we have an odd number of letters? if I memorized something like SJ BA XG MN D, how do you remember the last single letter for big/multi BLD?
I mean you don't, you use a lettering scheme for a 3x3, but you can connect THAT to the major system though in the sense that every number represents a consonant so you can learn a 2 digit major system like straight away if you know your letter pairs well. (e.g. 64 = JR = JaR)
@@kayodionizio2886 Well for corners, you'd just use letter pair words (what I teach in the video), so transferring that knowledge to number memorisation (using the major system), you'd only need to transfer like 10 or so letters (or more if you use multiple sounds like how I use p/b for 9)
Hey jack im having a problem using anki. If i try to go through the letter pairs once , it wont let me do it again for the rest of the day. Do you know how to fix it? 🤔
there's a 'custom study session' that you can use to go through all of the cards once again without waiting till the following day, page 10 of this thing has instructions on how to do that: studyaid.no/materials%2019-20/Beginners-guide-to-anki.pdf
@@JackCaiCubing For question eight it says "mark the box saying 'require one or more of these tags and select the tag(s) you made'" but when i select the box theres jsut a blank space under the box. so when i do the rest of the steps it still says ' Congratulations! You have finished this deck for now.' and i cant do it again. so i dont know what to do now 😢
Aside from what I teach in the video itself, I recommend checking my beginner tutorial here: ua-cam.com/video/FK9b3e4LZ-I/v-deo.html&ab_channel=JackCai which teaches how to assign letters to stickers and the general idea behind creating words/images

Anki may as well be the cure for every memory deficiency out there
ikr
You can memorize a whole cube in 6-7 seconds , but somehow you forgot how to speak english 🤣😂 ( 8:18 )
Exactly
ive been waiting for this video for ever
well, it's finally here! 🙌
@@JackCaiCubing v cool, and v helpful ty

english harder than blind confirmed 👍
Hey Jack could you think of making a top 10 or best cubes to use for blind solving?
You don’t have to I’m just wondering
**or write it in the comments
honestly I'm not up to date with the latest cubes at all so I definitely can't answer that 😂
😂
While memorising I have to go through the entire sequence 3-4 times to have like a 90 % success chance. Any tips for memorising all pairs in one go?

@ibeatmaker76 just do a ton of solves until you become familiar with them

I personally prefer remnote > anki bc you can structure flashcards :)
otherwise helpful video!
Thanks! And interesting, I haven't tried using that but yeah hoenstly any SRS flashcard system works the same

3:39 you could do BBQ Barbara que.
3:13
YD = yard
YD = Yiddish. Yard isn't a word I have in my dialect.
4:12 😂😂
yeah people are weird 😂
If you have bq and think of anything apart from barbeque… i don’t know what to say
I don't know why BBQ never crossed my mind 😂
Jack Cai idk thats just the first thing i thought of
Today I had BQ and thought of Becquerel, especially Henri Becquerel's beard ^^'

just dupe the last single letter, for ex : D = DD; Dad, i = ii; roman numerals number 2 and etc
You could use Yoda for YD
I thought if yard right away
*of
Yiddish
Can i use ECCE order with m2/orozco?
You can, I use it
I don't have any computer. What can I use instead of anki.......
Anki is on play store as well
how major system are applied on 3x3??? how they can be connetted?

@@JackCaiCubing but we have 22 letters and only 10 digits to associated with (speking about corners that are supposed to not be memorized with audio)

oh figured it. phew that took a while.
hey jack , is there a limit oh how many cards can go in one deck? (pls reply..)
@@ismaeelahmer1108 There is no limit, but be reasonable.
What would xj be?
For me this is the hardest part.. Can you recall me what letter you changed ? I'm having trouble with mainly Q W X..
I swapped Q with Y, but it doesn't matter much as long as you figure out certain rules/be creative with making words like I mentioned in the video
How you memorize using pair or image
