I feel like this could have been avoided, he even said it himself after the oil overfilled again "either fuel or coolant is getting into the oil", probably not coolant because no milkshake, but fuel thins the oil and would cause low or no oil pressure.

More proof: the LS platform is one of the best in existence. The most clapped out and abused truck in the fleet and it gave no issues.
Yep your right. But the 7.3 did have 500,000 thousand miles if not more so she was pretty worn out.
Challenge ideas:
1. Feats of Strength. How many crown Vic’s can each truck tow in dirt or grass.
2. Dirt Speed. Fastest 0-60 or 0-50 or whatever in the dirt.
3. Handling. Best course time off road…jumping optional.
4. Efficiency. What’s the MPG combined after all challenges have been completed. Would be hilarious to know how bad they are.
This has to be one of the funniest episodes ever. Of course jack stands truck looks like he got it from the scrapyard and it runs the best. 😂

@@RyTrapp0 IDK the magnum is the final iteration of the LA Block. They have a really good reputation. Not power makers but very reliable every 318 I have had has been very good.

@@xXDarthBagginsXx the 5.9 is a damn good engine, that thing is damn near bulletproof. I had an 01 2nd gen with the 5.9 and i beat the shit outta that truck and it never broke down on me. those magnum engines are damn reliable.
I've watched this man work on 4 digit powered race cars for years now. I've seen cleet blow up race engines that cost in the 5 digits and with the calmest face, predict exactly what it is before he even gets his helmet off, pull it apart, be 100% correct and say "we'll change that and it'll be ready to rip"

That doesnt explain why it was overfull again after they changed the oil and drove it a while. Im betting the rings were shot in a few cylinders and fuel was leaking into the crank case. If it was coolant the color of the oil would have been obvious.
Probably transmission oil or fuel leaking in the crank case
@@jamesallen-u8c I don't know if they did something off camera, but when they changed the oil the first time, there's no way there was 9 quarts in that oil pan. Something doesn't had up.

@Ayedidyaeit’s legal in Texas and i think Louisiana. I don’t know the reason it’s legal at all but it is. I got caught in traffic near Waco TX and myself and dozens of other cars started driving up the side of the highway to a surface road. Cops definitely saw it and barely gave a second look.

2) Tow stuff. - Haul the u-haul trailer with Cleet's "Hemi" pos for 10 laps around the track.
3) Tug o' war.
4) Go muddin'
5) Look good on date night.

They put 2 quarts of rislone in it to make it quite for the sale.... Typical trick around used car dealers
@@Jizden_Mipanz i feel like you're not even close my dude. don't know if you noticed. but um. when the oil was drained. it was more liquid than thick. even i know when hot oil is different vs. when it has coolant/water in it. the bad lifters combined with the dark oil - *of which had coolant or water in it*. was something. that should've been the number one key to stop and fix. while they were in the first lot. & then when the clip before he killed the engine i saw no resistance on the upper rad hose.

I don't think it's a keeper, honestly I think it's a flood truck, floor is probably rusted out bad. Sure it could be fixed and it's nowhere near as bad as a northern Truck with the rust, even if it's a flood truck. Guess we will find out if they tear into it or trade it. I think they might sell it, and buy a Hemi truck. Because they said it would be ok if JH gambled and doubled his money and bought a truck twice as expensive, that will be their justification I think, for buying a whole nother truck. LOL. Guess we will see. Can't wait, this is entertainment!

I like your postulation that as the engine when it was “making oil” that the crank whipped that oil like a soufflé and that the aerated oil killed the oil pressure but while it might not of been too good for the lifters but the lifters were not what ultimately did that engine it became I have to believe it finally got the rod bearings and than Rodney started playing his #1 Billboard hits song called “The Rod Knock Blues.” That chipping sound before the engine locked up was the B side of The Rod Knock Blues single titled The Piggyback Chip.

I'm gonna guess the 5.7 Hemi from the jumped lawn dart Chrysler 300 is going in it, if it's any good. The engine for the TRX you would have to justify the value. It would almost be kinda like cheating putting a 30k engine in that truck.

As soon as they said "we're gettin' another HEMI" and they said it was the 5.9L, I checked out. Although it's got a lot of poke, that V8 was NEVER known as a HEMI.
