Recently Hype Performance Group issued the latest update for the H145 Action Pack Expansion introducing the Fire Fighting capability and the new Scenario Editor.
In this video we fly from RAF Lossiemouth and head to RAF Milltown, an old disused airfield, to fight a practice fire. We also (of course!) check out some local scenery.

I think a truer challenge would be to have a timer on all of this. So, folks would have to practice big time before they implement an actual fire. Still, this was fun to watch. And I'm so happy that MSF 2020 has helicopters! They're underrated imo. And I love the livery! I live in Cali and will add that to my H145 too! Thank you for the video!

Many thanks! Check out page 95 of the manual with regards the bucket. You use the tablet to add it as a piece of equipment to the helicopter and can operate from there or set up a keybinding to empty it.

Many thanks! The H145 dump bambi bucket command is linked to toggle yaw damper in MSFS so just assign that MSFS command to a key or controller button and you should find it empties.

It’s part of the Operations Centre downloadable from their website.
The added water weight shouldn’t drop the helo down like that, it’s water already in water, if anything once the bucket touches the water there should be a slight weight reduction due to some impact from the displaced water, ignoring any river currents, etc in open water. Upon lifting of course there would be increased weight.
The flight model has been changed a few times since this video and there have been other updates so possibly behaviour is different. A test flight is needed I think lol
Perhaps in this case the simulation just adds weight at the point of bucket hitting water and filling. Not sure how clever the sim physics are to understand the difference between bucket of water in water and bucket of water out of water lol
What button do you use to drop the water, and how do you confiigure it?
Best thing to do is check the manual. There are keybindings in MSFS that will activate special controls in the H145 and you need to match those up.

What setup do you use, when flying helicopter?
Hardware? Nothing specific to helicopters. A Virpil WarBRD base. TM Warthog grip, bravo quadrant (collective lever) and TPR pedals
it is a fantastic aircraft. i still think it’s comfortably overpriced but it is thoroughly engaging. you did a good job of flying it too.

algo parece extraño ahí. Puedo entender que el aire caliente es menos denso pero también estaría subiendo, por lo que perdería pero también agregaría elevación al mismo tiempo :). ¿Valdría la pena preguntar sobre HPG Discord?
Downloaded and installed the Action Pack Expansion after used the helicopter for a while, but cant fly the action helicopters because the controller is kind of looked. Cant even get up the displays...
Have you activated it with the expansion keycode?
@@Dreamsofwings I only activated the base pack from within the helicopter but somehow I cant do it one the action pack copters. Cant open the tabblet
@@baardk2 I seem to remember it was the first page on the tablet when I clicked it open. Other thing to check is that you are using same version of base pack as expansion pack. They must match
@@Dreamsofwings I downloaded the base pack yesterday and the action pack today. I guess it is the same version. I had no problem open the tablet and filled in the keys on the base pack, but now I cant even open the Tabblet. Even with the copter started. I can take off but not use the stick or controlls.
I see now that there are different versions...But I dont know how to resolvet that...
Which key opens the water tank ? I do it in the tablet aircraft menue. But it would be easier played on a key.
If you check the keybindings list that is in the aircraft folder you can assign a controller button to that specific action in MSFS. I forget which MSFS function they used but it could be something like water rudder for example.
do you know if in vr you can just stick your head out to look under the heli to see the payload bucket?

This runs like Hell on a 3080ti , the smoke drop fps to 10 from 90 if you get to close to the smoke.. And the missions are limited for £70 your all mad..
I don’t have that issue with fps drop with the smoke and I have same card. This is also early access so still being developed. It’s been added to already since this video.
