Thank you for bringing attention to the wonderful H145. HPG have really gone beyond any expectations and put so much great stuff in this package. Their freeware H135 stirred my interest in helicopters, and I tested most of their H145 beta builds for both 1.0 and 2.0. What a great experience :)
I gotta say that the auto hover mode just more or less pauses the vehicle in midd air with zero movement. It’s as if the msfs pause button has been hit. Pretty much killed the immersion when I saw that. Even fixed wing aircraft jostle around in the air under autopilot settings but the heli is stone cold still. Hopefully future updates can address that.
I was talking to a H145 Yorkshire air ambulance pilot the other day as he landed in a field near me. Witnessing it starting up and taking off up close in person is amazing used my camera I used for plane spotting captures the moment perfectly. Also was spotting in my garden the same heli that landed in the field near me for the whole morning so it was a G-YAAA day for me ha ha
I have had the H145 since day one. It is an amazing platform to learn and fly. Technical assistance from the developers is top notch as well. Even the exterior modeling seems much more crisp and realistic. This new version is a little twitchy compared to the last version but that will just take some getting used to. Time to take an hour to take off, hover taxi and land. Too easy. Thanks for this AVgeek
Been watching the progress from a distance (more into airliners than helis myself!) but really impressed with v2.0 from the HPG team - it's a great product!
Not really planning any tutorials for it to be honest, not thought about it though until you mentioned it now so who knows, perhaps in the future (though I'm no heli pilot!)
@@BritishAvgeek Yeah it is a really cool livery, I think the Norwegian air ambulance is the coolest and, I have flown in the older H 135 one time, not because of an accident😀
Hello fellow aviators I have recently got the hype performance group H145 helicopter scenario expansion packs, which have totally ruined my MSFS as it takes forever to load an aircraft anyone else experiencing extremely long loading times? if so is there any way to fix this, I also recently reinstalled the whole MFSF program which took 13 hours after which I had two successful flights and now it's being slower again!
@@BritishAvgeek did all of that can't find any helicopter in MSFS or mission all videos I have seen all helicopters are in the field or already on the ramp I got the base pack plus action pack
I've always been attracted to the h145, but I'm an avid DCS player and the flight model seems "on the rails," almost arcade-like, I don't understand because of the great stability of the real h145 or the usual limitations of the flight model.
In the versions until 1.0 (build 340) I'd say it was a limitation of their custom flight model, which was basic. But since they switched to the new native flight model, it actually feels a lot more lively. As far as I understand, HPG have really configured the flight model as it would behave without the computer control stuff, and then put the stability augmentation on top of it where the computer helps you with the control inputs.

Most welcome! They've made remarkable progress!

nice one - always impressive to watch them land in confined spaces!

Just getting into the H145 - it’s an incredible addon, especially with the Action Pack. Do you plan to do a tutorial series on it? Cheers, Ed

@@BritishAvgeek no worries mate, thanks for the excellent content 👍
That guy in the back looks like Crack Stuntman voice of Gun Haver in the hit show Cheat Commandos.
The norwegian air ambulance h 145 does actually not have a winch on the side but the test helicopter for the air ambulance has tested a winch.
still looks cool though
Yeah I just used the livery so I could fly out of Bergen as it's a nice part of the world 🙂

To get this pack
Can I download the H145 on the Xbox or it’s just for pc?
Does this use more VRAM than the H135 ?
I'm using over 11 GB of VRAM with the H135... where I typically use 8 to 9 GB.
crikey, about the same if not sometimes a little more
Hi friend so like nowhere can I find how to install it properly and how to even start a mission
The H145? You need their installer from their website if you purchased it. then it activates the license and let's you fly

Fantástico
Is it only able with pc
@@FeuerwehrWI yes
How to get version 2 please?, I own the base.
Just update it from the hype ops centre program or re-download it from your account on their website
