- Fire Fighting in the H145 Helicopter in FS2020 is a lot of fun. This mission was my first fire Fighting attempt using a helicopter.
I had no clue my throttle was dual bound which meant I cooked my engine as the mission went on, this is evident throughout :)

Knew about the helo but hadn't really thought that they had put in actual fires, that's really cool. Kind of waiting for FS2020 to get a bit more "things" to do, maybe Asobo should focus a bit more on making things easier for 3rd parties to do stuff like this?
Rotorcraft in MSFS seem to be coming on in leaps and bounds lately. It may be time to reinstall it. Thanks for the video.

1255 is the standard firefighting aircraft squawk code. If you have any other specific questions let me know I'd be happy to answer all that I know.
Ah thanks! In the UK 0033 is SAR, whil working as a controller I don’t think I ever saw a firefighting aircraft squawk in the uk.
Yeah I should have said in US airspace that's the standard... It's like squawking VRF but for firefighting aircraft. If we are flight following with ATC we squawk as assigned. And if we file IFR to get to a fire then we use a special handling code STS/FFR.

I absolutely love MF2020 But i constantly have issues where after 3 or 4 weeks of no issues it gets stuck on startup trying to sync data.. Such a shame because these videos really make me miss playing it haha! Forgot how beautiful this game is after nothing but DCS for a few months
question, how do you drop the water without having to click the button on the tablet?
Link the keybind listed on the guide that comes with the module. Sorry, can’t remember off the top of my head what it is

Yes, you can select missions from the built in iPad. Updates come regularly
So how's the overall flight model of the H145? Looks like it flies like on rails (or is it just your smooth flying?)

Yeah you can create your own scenarios with the included software and that includes a placeables like fire trucks, inflatable pools of water etc

How is the flightmodel in regards to realism, compared to DCS world helicopters? Is it ok or very arcady? It looks really interesting!
Entirely different, the H-145 is a modern helicopter with stability assist, a joy to fly. The Huey, without it, is also a joy to fly.
Crikey your game looks good. Everytime I jump back in the buildings never look that detailed down low. This looks like a lot fun,will take look somestage. Thanks
