The Hype Performance Group Action Pack Expansion is evolving very nicely and in this video we fly a custom HEMS mission in this Scottish Air Ambulance H145 from Aviemore, in the Scottish Highlands up to Craigellachie and finishing with taking the casualty to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.

Glad to see you enjoying the H145 update! You created a pretty cool mission! You mentioned region correct vehicles, we do instructions and a sample for users for the community to replace and add their vehicles, objects etc. We haven't seen a lot of adoption from the community creators on that front yet, but all the tools are available!

Well done Sir! The scenario is very cool and you're certainly right about the scenery and weather in MSFS...absolutely stunning and adding so much to the immersion experience!! The folks on certain forums holding out for specific airplanes before trying MSFS really have no idea what they're missing and how much that does add to the Flight Sim experience overall.
Btw, that crew member jumping in and out of the helicopter is a fast jumper!!! ;)

Wonderful Video . Great to see another convert to the H145 . Been flying the HPG choppers since day one and am now an addict . Only way to really enjoy FS2020 to be honest .

Gorgeous video ! I'm just getting serious about this chopper, I still drop out of the sky and crash more often than I land but at least I'm crashing where I was intending to land. The rotor slap every time I start to descend scared the heck out of me but the more videos I watch the more I see that it's just what the H145 does - quite useful for stopping me descending when I'm not using the autopilot :) Bold landing attempt at the distillery, you're only allowed an 8 degree slope when the ground goes up on the left !

Great video always flying this amazing chopper in Scotland. a small tip I would change the MFD to Synthetic botton right button that way you can see the terrain.

Like yourself, I love flying around the highlands, especially in the helicopter. Being Scottish I am naturally biased. But I keep thinking, Jeez there is a whole world I can fly in, so trying to ween myself off the Highlands and into the Alps :). The Swiss Rega HEMS helis look great and the mountains are huge.

Really beautiful video, amazing with the weather. I am also a big fan of the H145 and think it is great to experience the amazing scenery in the sim. One hint, there is an option in the tablet to turn down the volume of the blade slap sound ;)

I too was enjoying the awesome scenery...but I also think it's good you're hand flying because it will only get better as muscle memory kicks in...poor patient...hope he's getting all the care he needs 😀 😄

Finally got a Tobii and got a chance to fly around in the H145, it is so amazing! I can't wait for the new HOTAS I ordered to arrive. Looking forward to doing more fire fighting and rescue missions. It's what I really wanted to do in MSFS2020 and it's just a great way to kill an hour or two having fun.

Very Good!! I have the H145 but I'm still in the midst of understanding how to set up the bindings. I installed it but haven't even tried to open it yet. I'm pretty good with helicopters, (I had quite a few that I flew in FSX for about 9 years), but this one is more advanced than any I've had.
Thanks for the video and insight as to just how much can be done with this addon! Frankly, it seems to be underpriced when you really consider all that you can get from it.

Another great video mate. If you bring up the map on the far left monitor and select terrain avoidance it will show you in red anything 1,000' below you. It works really quite well. Meanwhile, I am struggling to get the missions working. Hey Ho.

ive flown helicopters IRL and my first solo was terrifying but once i got up i was just in this surreal experience even though i felt completely lost navigationally i was lucky i brought multiple gps apple products to get me through it. If you havent done a discovery flight DO IT!
Last time I was in a helicopter IRL was a Sea King in the 80’s so I am WELL overdue some rotary time 🤣
Very cool! Love the mission editor stuff, only criticism that ruined the immersion for me was turning up to a very US centric Police car and ambulance.
Yeah its early access so hopefully there might be options/mods down the road (if not already)

@@Dreamsofwings a repaint livery selection would be my suggestion. The models are fine they just want a couple livery options for some different looks imo

Thanks Al! I’ve done Vatsim only once and somewhere in my brain I have phraseology etc tucked away from previous IRL training lol. I have considered doing it but I am not sure it fits in with the kind of ‘free roam’ flying I do lol. Very tempted though and I have an account etc.

Hi, nice video, especially with the changing weather. :-) Is there a way to randomly generate missions or have all objects to be placed manually? I'm asking, because I prefer not knowing what will await me at the mission area... ;-)
Hey many thanks. At the moment no, really because I guess it would be quite difficult for the AI to place the objects in a usable way maybe. They are a very clever developer though so who knows!
@@Dreamsofwings Thanks for your reply! I still might have a closer look at it, since the grind to afford the helicopter in Neofly seems a bit too much for me, as I prefer short distance flights and am not so interested in the trading/ market aspect of the program.
Yes I love it and setting up the scenario is one thing but actually flying it in different conditions etc is really good fun. Plus they keep adding to it.
@@Dreamsofwings Bought this pack after watching your video another time and while I was browsing the available Action Pack options on the tablet in the cockpit there it was... The possibility of a randomly generated mission. Yaaay!!! ;-) Not sure, if this might be a recent option with later updates, but when you open the top-most folder (I think "HPG missions" or so) you can choose "Missions by range" which is glorious for me... :-) Then the program places an accident somewhere within your prefered range (I think 1 - 70 km) and after picking up the injured person it will lead you to a random hospital for "final delivery". ;-) And, this is almost magic for me, the 3 hospitals with adjourning landing pads I have flown patients to (up to now) really exist. Unbelievable... So, thanks to you and your video! Maybe you will also like the random placement of the accident, it even features ambulances and fire-trucks. :-)

What... Wait... How did you open the editor. Where is the editor. I did not know there was an editor. What file did you open to get to the editor. Can you back up a bit and describe some basics associated with the action pack?
The Editor that I show at the start of the video is now part of the Operations Centre. You open that program and then you cam access the editor, save missions or just direct link to your helicopter in the sim.
I would love an explanation of the mission editor. Is it available as a standalone product? Can i use other helicopters, such as my 500E Heli?
The mission editor comes specific to the H145 + Action Pack and is part of the Hype Operations Centre that runs as a separate program on your PC

@@onboardsimulations8304 right ok, if the casualty was upside down then so would the helicopter be. Anyway it is a bit of humour and not to be taken seriously. Sounds like you are looking for more serious tutorials.
@@Dreamsofwings if the dude was horizontal when he went in, then the nose of the helicopter tips down, the dudes head would be below his feet. It's not your fault it's just how helicopters are. I definitely don't want to fly seriously and like to fly just for fun. Your humour in the video was the best part for me and the rest was good to watch. I'm not knocking in any way.
soo with this helicopter do u pull the yoke forward and u will go forward im seriously contempalting purchasing it
Yes, I fly it with a stick but essentially with a yoke you would use the yoke to change the angle of the rotor blade so forward to mive forward, turn it left to move left etc. might be easier with a stick though

No It is just PC version at the moment.
i was only saying to the gf the other day msf needs some nice search and rescue missions for.when.helis come in the update and boom i see this and its well done with actually seing them.get.in and out and rescue so.lots of potential, bugs me in dcs u cant see ur rescues inside the heli.
Yes this is very immersive and still early access so they keep building on it.

Unfortunately the H145 isn’t available on Xbox right now. Not sure if it will be in the future.

i found this very boring, they need to work more on the progression side and better varied missions. Looks nice but American objects everywhere and limited missions with no progression at all.. 4/10
This was a mission I built just playing with what was available at the time so you can probably blame me for lacking to entertain you and avoid my channel at all costs lol. This is in early access and is still being added to and developed so more will come.
