They are absolutely over double the value. Im a life long dodge owner. But im not buying at these prices. And we didn't need all that trash inside vehicles. Heated everything is just another extra expense we dont need.
I paid 40k back in 2019 Durango rt tow and go, had about 24k miles on it……… had for 1 year. Within that time, info system malfunctioned constantly, battery would die constantly, and brakes seized 3 times (towed twice). First and last dodge product I bought. I’ve happily owned a genesis g80 since.

I don't think these cars a priced for working people anymore. if the average salary is 45 to 50k and the average rent/mortgage is 1500 most people bring home 2 to 3 grand a month it's not for the working Joe....even classic cars are out of range now. I bought a grandnational in 2019 it was 24k. I put 20k in it to give it 500hp and 600tq. Can't find one in good condition for less than 30s. Low mileage into the 100k range. I bought a gmc typhoon for 12k. I have about 17k invested in a rewire, custom harness, and smart coil set up....everything is expensive if you want a performance vehicles. 90s vehicle price increases is next up.
I paid 44k for my fully loaded 2024 R/T Plus with 2k miles on it. I also had them include up to 4 oil changes per year throughout the lifespan of the vehicle in that price, too.
I know some people with srt jeep and dodges and the engines are unreliable and they make you fight for your life to get them to pay for it when it's under warranty

Another is doesn't have funds I think to pay for the repairs he bought his used so he's driving his malibu and another guy is driving his but he's a few problems since having it. His engine literally caught on fire in the summer. We are on the middle east though with temperatures reaching 120+
I bought a 2018 SRT 392 with 23k miles on it fully loaded, for 52k. Had it for 2 years, zero issues. Great car but I’d never, ever pay these current prices….

I own a ‘17 Journey GT with 46K miles. In 7 years, I have done regular oil changes, changed the tires (2023) and replaced the battery (2024) - Nothing else! What didn’t you like about the vehicle?
Materials get more expensive so the vehicles get more expensive…. Not rocket science. And some of us went to college and have great paying jobs, so we can afford these vehicles. And then again… some aren’t so lucky.

Not sure if its stelantis. I think thats the dealer price. Well, actually maybe. I just bought a 2024 (brand new) durango hellcat for $86,000, but that included a bunch of rebates. That being said, this thing is awesome. Had a 2022 charger hellcat but somebody smashed me good. Totalled it.

I used to be a fan of fast cars, which I still am, but in 2018 I fractured my whole leg when a dude in a f150 hit me head on in my 2012 camaro. Since then I been buying older cars. I got a 87 grandnational with t tops, a 442 tribute, and a 92 gmc typhoon. I daily drive a jeep wrangler. It currently has 130k in mileage. Now I'm liking fast suvs. It's either a durango or the trailblazer ss. I haven't decided yet.
