I am having an issue with not being able to load any song into a deck. Do you know how to fix that?
Soo um I'm buy a ddj 1000
I always enjoyed your videos, however I did not know you have skills like that.
2:11 is misleading, at lease in my experience, used the ns7 as well as rane 12s and neither skip under virbration, there is tecnically nothing to skip since there is no needle, not only that but now with the DVS phase system turntables no longer skip as well
great vid as always . I have a question ,Do you think they will come out with a rane 2 some time next year?
Carlo, long time watcher, I really appreciate seeing an entirely different approach to DJing. While you focus more on scratching and very impressive transitions, the way I was trained was more of a subtle "pick the right song and let the crowd vibe" style. I wonder if there is a potential video idea about different schools of thought on how to construct a dj set?
Good idea! Thanks for the suggestion and comment! I guess it's all about balancing a set. I should probably make a tutorial on how to make a well balanced mix!
Agreed, if it's not a turntable contest, then song selection should be first priority:)
It’s great there are so many options these days. When I started DJing the options were belt or direct drive turntables and that was it
Yeah same here! More options the better!
With today's ddj controllers what platter do you prefer? I'm 51 years old and that's exactly what I remember....beltdrive or direct drive, I'll never forget my older brother sent me some nice turntables from over seas but they were belt drive and I really couldn't work with them.
First of all, thank you for posting your sets and tips for DJs with different equipment and styles. I'm old school from the 80s, and I love the feel and control I have with vinyl. I grew up beat matching vinyl, but now I use Serato and turntables with Phase wireless controllers. This set up has changed my life!! I worked an outdoor gig last week that was pretty windy with no issues. But that works for me. I agree with other comments that everyone is different and you should find what works for you. Keep posting more videos brother. Love the content.
All that coming from someone who's grown up and seen the DJ industry start, thrive, and flourish, that means a lot Luis! New technology will always help make your gigs easier (turntables in the wind in the 80s? Say goodbye to your needles haha). Thanks for the kind words bud, and I'll keep making good stuff with this kind of support!
motorized platters 4 life. I love that we are in a spinning platter renaissance currently with so many options to choose from.
I see I'm not the only one who's noticed! I'm glad more companies are bringing them back!
I like how straight-to-the-point practical and informative you are and your videos
Thanks Dash! Really glad you appreciate the vids the way they are!
Nothing better than to feel the music.
Hopefully more DJs try motorized platters out!
Great video! At the end of the day, it really depends on how you will utilize an equipment, especially on a live environment. Big up, Carlo!
Yo Nikita! Been a while man! And it really is. As long as everyone is enjoying, we're good!
Love the fact that you included all kinds of equipment in this video! All brands, all sizes of gear!
Thanks man! Really wanted to put variety in this video. Glad you saw the diversity!
@@djcarlo you hearted a comment about a guy saying (numark sucks ass) Makes me wonder about you to be honest.
He's in the comments taking shit and you hearted it. 🧐.
Information and break down is top notch! And enjoyable to watch! Thanks!!
Glad you think so Drews! I really try as hard as possible to leave no stone unturned!
Very informative video. Your work inspired me to start DJing again after 16 years.
That's so nice to hear! Thanks for all the love and positivity my man! Happy you picked up the hobby again!
Thank you, I really appreciate your explanations and all, keep it up.
For sure Willie! Glad the explanations help!
Really nice outlook!!! I used to swear that working with 1200’s were what needs to be used at all times…but since the jog wheels came out, it actually makes things better because of the non-skip matter, which means something to me, I would love some motorized platters like the Rane MK12’s RaneOne, Rev7 to work with and of course the OG 1200’s (but for my room). With the new technology I can appreciate it, and respect to Carlo for rockin them with ease (well, it did take some practicing to get where he’s at)
I’m good with the jog wheels for the time being. I’m eager to learn all I can to get to the next level.
Indeed Benny! I'm guessing that's why most DJ gear no longer utilize motorized platters. But it's nice to get that analogue feel again!
Good advice! Thanks! 🍀
For sure bud! Glad you liked the video!
love the honesty..
That's what I try to give on this channel!
I like the drag back sound that the motorized ones make when you scratch the advantage of the jog wheel is when you scratch your timing catches up faster and sounds better but with less control..
Thanks for sharing that preference! Nice to know you know your controllers well!
Something i've noticed too. There's no pull back, or not as much of one on jogs. Sounds more natural and closer to vinyl to me.
@@thecreepysilence4290 That's great for Techno fans, but a lot of the world doesn't listen to Techno, or any sort of EDM. For the type of music I like it can't really be done in a live performance way. At least not more than very rare to change shit up. I have an MPC One and can whip up some spontanous boom bap beats for a live performance, but that's much better suited for people like you who do EDM style music. Even tho I don't like that kind of music, I can appericate seeing someone who's good at improvising and creating live EDM on the spot. Just like I can appericate a DJ like Q Bert or Babu doing some crazy turntable shit.
If you're a good EDM DJ you can get huge gigs and make big bucks. If you're a hip-hop DJ and tried to do everything live and create music on the spot, pretty sure you'd go broke lol.
Always getting real talk with Carlo Atendido!
For sure Peter! I just tell it like it is!
good information carlo
Thanks Tushar! Glad you liked the video!
Great run down...I've never met a person that touched a motorized platter that wanted to go back to the jog wheel. The modern iteration of motorized platters is coming...like 5 new ones on the market since this video. Gone are the days of the issues you mentioned. Plus everyone, including the crowd getting bored watching Jog Wheels;). Keep it poppin' ya freaks;)
I getya. It's all about taste. I just like the stability of using Jog Wheels.
I have the DDJ-REV1 as an upgrade to my DDJ-SB3. I absolutely LOVE It. However I’m working towards getting the RANE ONE in a few months and I’ll keep the Rev1 as my more portable solution etc.
Ohhh! Glad to know that! Let me know your thoughts once you got hold of it!
arent you afraid the rane 2 will come out
Denon is the king of motorized platters. They have been doing it before the laptop era came about. The SC6000M is the perfect blend of everything. From the past, to the present, to the future. It's got motorized platters. A big laptop screen. Internal hard drive. And internal standalone software. Also they can stream music too.
I'm glad they brought back their motorized platter tech for some of their newer stuff! I really enjoyed the feel!
OMG bro. @ 2:31 you used a very old clip of the first cdj and the subtitles was in my language😆😆😆 I'm surprised and proud at the same time! Anyway I Love your videos🏆
Haha thank you my Hungarian bro! Glad you caught that! Peace and love to you guys!
@@djcarlo 🤝🙌
Love the Jog Wheels on my Rev-1 for mixing and beat matching, thinking its the Rev-5 next seems like a good upgrade 💯💯
Could be a good one! More features for sure!
Bro the quality of this video is great. You always impress. I love my Prime 4 very much, but I would love to upgrade to motor platters. They look amazing! One of those is the same price as my whole controller though haha OUCH
Ouch indeed haha. Same thing some of my other DJ friends told me when they saw the price tag.
@@djcarlo We cannot all be absolute ballers like your good self haha
I loved the jog wheels on the ddj 1000 but after getting a Rane One, I love the feel of moving platters.
Yeah there is some magic on those moving platters!
Sup Carlo. I just preordered the Rev-7 after using strictly controllers for almost 8 years now. Looking forward to the motorized platters. A lot of the clubs in my area still use turntables (believe it or not). I hope the Rev-7 can prepare me to spin at those places some day.
Dang! At least you guys still have turntables around haha. Enjoy the Rev 7 bud! I can't wait to get my hands on one as well.
First time i see a video of you but a nice video, i am for a month a proud owner of 3 Denon SC6000M but in the 30 years i DJ are these the first digital decks what i really not like ,but loved to play with these decks wins from the Pioneer CDJ in all ways to sound quality on and these players i have in combination with a Pioneer DJM900NXS2 and 3 Technics SL1210GR with isonoe feets for me as Techno DJ the best DJ set on this moment
Nice! Love the 1210 and 900nexus combo there. But yeah, the SC6000M's are something else!
this video was excellent especially the bit at 3:33 because its so true this is who Numark are currently aiming their dj controllers at 🤣
HAHAHAHAHA, okay that made me laugh
Love the tutorials Carlo ? I have 1210”s and 850 cdjs xdjxz and xdj3000.. I love the fact that I can use all 😎🎶🎶
That's awesome Nicky! Man, you got some top tier equipment there!
Yep!! Couldn't have said better. I agreed with everything you said. I started with turntables myself in the early 80's but I quickly adapted to the CD jog wheels when they first came out. Too much fanboyism going around. New or old technology, it's all good. Just find what works best for you and that is the best for you. I got the SC5000M's when they came out so going to the SC6000M's doesn't make sense for me. At some point I will be getting the Rane one's. I'm also currently using the Technics SL-DZ1200 with DVS. Also have the Denon Prime 4 & Pioneer XDJ-XZ. Oh and I forgot the Traktor gear too. Lol
Dang, rockin' some classics there with the SL-DZ! And I'm glad you adapted quickly, and couldn't agree more that everyone just needs to find the system that works best for them. Everything is great as long as you're rockin' the crowd with them!
Big budget dream... Wish every dj can make true. RANE One, RANE Twelve, REV 7, PLX Cross12, Denon 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Oh that'd be an awesome set up!
What model of turntable it's on the right?
as ii came from vinyl and turntables i love spinning platters .I have rane 12s but the Denons and the latest from Pioneer are great too .The great thing is that you can find a system that suits you if you can afford it of course
Very true Danielle! Everyone has the right set up for them!
I came from 1200's and CDJs but I love my Rane One!
Quite the machine, isn't it? It's got a best of both worlds feel to it!
I’ve heard such good things about Denon lately. It’s hard for me to get away from Pioneer and Technics players since they’re the club/bar/venue standard.
I'm a 4 deck DJ who's mobile so the Prime 4 with jog wheels is my go to. I actually would prefer motorized platters but the SC6000M is the only one that plays 2 decks and that setup is just too big to move around. The NS7ii and iii were the only controllers that had it all, here's hoping someone decides to make one like that again
I'm sure Denon will come with something more innovative in the future! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
i have been learning how to scratch using jogwheel it was taking me a while to get into, the moment i upgraded to the Rane One in less than 3 days i got into the groove and was able to scrach battle after 15 days. Both are great, but motorised platter for me, given i do not like to focus on the laptop when i scratch.
Absolutely! Scratching on jogwheels takes some time to get into; I do prefer the moving sensation when scratching.
hi Carlo. thanks for this. I first came across you probably more than 10 years ago, when i sold you my behringer mixer, the one with the dog ears. LOL> anyway, i agree with the sc6000M. i have them (plus the sc5000) and they are a beauty. nice review!
I feel like they're sooooo underrated!
I started with Traktor on the original S4 about 5 years ago. I began moving up the controllers until about 6 months ago I got an S8. No jog wheels. I liked everything about it except that. In the last two weeks I have found two used Denon SC5000M’s at a great price. I am loving the motorized jogs and everything about that player especially getting away from a computer.
Dang, now THAT's an upgrade David!
@@djcarlo Yes it is. Right now I’m running them through the S8 for a mixer but I am looking for something more compatible like a Denon x1850. I want to tell you that I browse all the other DJ’s on UA-cam and you are definitely at the top. Love what you do and how you do it.
@@davidfranks1406 I have a similar journey! started out with the s4 mk2, then went to an s8, then to the s4 mk3 where i realized I loved the feels of the motorized jog wheels. i just got some motorized denons too and i love them. although when doing a lot techy stuff jog wheels/platters seem unecessary when you can just pitch bend with buttons, it's the feel for me of the thing physically moving under my fingers that just triggers a different feeling with the mix. it may not be the most rational but music isn't rational, it's emotional!
I was thinking about getting an S4 mk3 when I found the Denon. Since my post I have acquired the X1800 mixer. Triple threat now! LOL!
HE'S A DENON GUY HELL YEAH . Love you Carlo!!!
They're really stepping up their A game with DJ equipment!
Been following laidback Luke for a while now and I thought is was different to have Denon and travel. Bought the prime 4 beginning of shutdown(bc I don't have a place to put cdjs) and been hooked ever since
Moving platters have always been to me a big why ! But I guess it could be fun, haven’t tried but I doubt the feel is nothing near 1200 /1210 back in the day, also feeling the sonic range through the needle
It's not quite the same, but it's a similar feeling!
I like the Jogs even though I used to just use turntables. My favorite jogs are the Pioneer CDJ 3000 and the Denon L6000 both of those jogs are so smooth and responsive they are almost elegant. I plan on getting a motorized player to mess around with. My gut leads me towards the Rane but I don't like how you need a laptop to use it (unless I could use it to control one of the off decks on the Prime 4) so I will probably get the Denon one at some point.
Yes the Denon is a good buy! You can't go wrong with those units! Thanks for sharing your favorite jog wheels!
Nice ! I Think jog is just for club dj, mororized platers for open format + scratch. Btw im w8in for test ddj400 vs rev1 or just rev1. You are best tester for me bcs are you watching for setup like scratch dj not just club dj. Best regards from Poland !;)
Thanks buddy! Love and peace to you guys! Appreciate the suggestion! I certainly agree!
The hardest thing for me would be switching from rekordbox to Serato since I have most of my playlists within that software
There are many softwares out there that help you convert! Hope you can try it out!
The hungarian ad made me laugh uncontrollably👌
Hahaha, I thought it was Polish? The things I find for B Roll i swear 😆
Like you said at the end of this video if you want the best turntable experience go with the Rane MKIIs👍
Some top notch decks right there!
My mentor and DJ partner have been telling me I should learn to play vinyl but the price of turntables is crazy-expensive. Yes, I could get the Rane One or the Pioneer Rev 7 but they one work with Serato. That's about software and spending I have to deal with. Hoping when the Rev 7 is compatible with Rekordbox, I may consider buying it.
I still find it odd that Rekordbox isn't compatible with the Rev 7, given that it's a Pioneer product. Now, while I did start with turntables (and still use 'em!), you don't need to play vinyl man. Getting real records takes up a lot of space, and they're not exactly light either haha
I'm in Nigeria 🇳🇬, I mostly In club where my fans wanna dance and forget there sorrows.... I give my best with JogWheels. So I prefer it.
Keeping making the fans dance bud!
Still love the Pioneer RX2, 1 X Cdj800mk2, 2 X Technics 1200mk5, Vinyl still feels best for scratching but I've not tried that much on RX2
That's a sick setup! Lotsa good equipment there! There's just something so nice about moving Platters!
really interesting
What's your opinion on Jog Wheels?
@@djcarlo my opinion is that jog wheels are much more convenient. it is smaller and lighter in weight
I still rock my NS7 because I love the vinyl feel but its so heavy that I only spin at home with it. I take my SB3 or Mixstream Pro when I do gigs because they are lighter and easy to move around. Ive found that most audience cant see me so it really doesnt make a difference what I spin on as long as the music is good
Looks like you got the best of both worlds setup there! I too do the same thing in which I bring lighter controllers around!
OMG that part at 2:31 is from a Hungarian tutorial from the '90s 😁
So I've been told! Had lots of helpful translations in the comments hehe
I picked up a Denon dns5000 for $50 at an auction. As someone who'd dj'd with vinyl for 20 years plus, the motorized platter was very familiar to me. I find it easier to beat match with a motorized CD player than a non motorized platter like cdj's. It just has that familiar feel. On a cdj, the tension adjust is very important to get the right feel you are used to.
That's a great price for it yo!
@@djcarlo I know, hard to resist. It looked a bit worn, but after a thorough clean, it came up mint and functioned perfectly.
Just picked up the sc6000s bruhn they are legit! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Those things are so good! Glad you like em!
god I really want one! I always wanted to practice doing some mixes
I would recommend getting a good controller to start off with! Check out my Best DJ Gear video for a list of controllers I've tried. Unless you're looking for a motorized one; market is a lot smaller, but they're pretty worth their cost!
@@djcarlo Aight I'll look it up, thank you!!
i remembered my first exposure to motorisezed platter was the Technics SL-DZ1200 CD turntables…. the technology was ahead of its time but the transition from Pioneer CDJs (CDJ1000 back then)..took me a while to get use to….i end up selling my decks coz i wasnt ready for such hi-tech…but now i regret selling them….
Always be ready to embrace the future bud! But man, the SL-DZ looked like a slice of the far future. I remember seeing one and just .... getting scared? This was back when I was new haha
@@djcarlo agreed Carlo...being a 43yo.. started with turntables n the grandfather CDJ500.. n seeing the current high-tech DJ gears really amazed me n hard to catch up..😰😭😅.. (thanks to ur videos, u educated old skool DJ like myself) anyes, the SL-DZ back then scared alot of ppl including myself.... hope u could do a historical video of DJ gears one day...eg. the first DJ turntable, first mixer..first CDJ...etc..that would be an interesting topic/video..🙏🏻😀 just a thought..🙋🏻♂️
Nice content!Big jog rules!)))
Thanks man! Just wanted to do something different for this video!
@@djcarlo Thank you for doing!
I love the media player capabilities to be used without a laptop with the SC6000M. But my favorite controller right now is still the NS7III by Numark. Soo many features including touch controls. But I know that these videos are usually showcasing more up to date controllers, like today in 2022 everyone is on the the Rev7 which I personally don't think hold a candle to either of the SC6000M or NS7III. I know this is an old video at this time but great job Sir. One.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Yes, I wanted to focus on more.modern dj gear that's why I didn't mention the Numark! Thanks for sharing your opinion!
I had an ns73 myself, i wasnt impressed by the build quality. After 3 years all my eq knobs had developed a distinct wobble. They still worked fine but they felt very fragile.
I’m not a scratch dj, but still prefer motorised platters. Like you said, I prefer the tactility of a moving platter. Love playing on the SC6000Ms, but I find engine dj software very slow at syncing tunes from serato, and slow again at syncing times between the computer and the player
Interesting observations Adam!
Thx for this sharing Champ. Its really good to add some more knowledge about it.
My problem using my ddj400 was, on the scratching moment. The scratch track always moves by itself while im holding the jogwheel, and make it difficult to get back to the scratch point... Is it a common error to the equipment, or due to other factors?
Tq in advance for any reply for this matter.
🙏😎✌️
Make sure that vinyl mode is on! Otherwise, it sounds like your platter's contact points might be wonky. That's a common problem with controllers, especially if moisture seeped in somehow. I recommend bringing your 400 to your local Pioneer DJ service center if that's the case.
Yo champ...is this a jokes..i did text u on telegram..but no progress. Is it some scammer using ur utube? Just curious.
a review on the numark party mix 2 would be fun to make a video on
Maybe in the future! Thanks for the suggestion!
after watching your channel for a couple months you got me convinced to buy the impuls 500 (white)
I have been beat matching for 1,5 weeks with tidals library in serato dj pro (licence was free with the white edition) but do you have any tips or tricks to improve faster?
Nice! Check out my how to practice video! But all you really need to do is prepare your songs and software!
@@djcarlo definitily will!

Absolutely no regrets in diversifying!
Dj carlo you can play on anything an sound good.
I try! That's why I tinker around with the equipment alot haha
Great video. I have a controller with jog wheels but I'm hoping to be able to afford motorized platters.....one day.
I'm sure you will find them super worth it!
Am I missing something, numark ns series has been around for a while. They always seem to get overlooked. As someone who started mixing on soundlab belt drive decks in the early 2000s, the movement was a nice visual aid whilst mixing, I've upgraded to dj controllers since but the first was a numark omni, something about the jog wheels not moving always bugged me, went back to technics 1210s then tried the pioneer ddjsr and again the platters not moving seemed odd, now using numark ns7 3 and despite never having to change the "record" there is something refreshing about still being able to physically slow down/speed up/backspin/scratch the track as opposed to "bumping" it to speed, and the interaction with the platter feels more natural, maybe I'm just too stuck in my ways but being an original vinyl dj the feel for me is everything.
Bro Numark Sucks ass
I started on TTS in the 80s I’m not a scratch dj by any stretch of the imagination. But the jogs not moving just doesn’t feel right which makes it less fun. My NS7 II was my favorite controller to play on.
@@jonathanackah5448 entitled to your opinion, would you like to expand on that? For your comment to make any sense I assume you've owned all of numarks products😐
@@DJCrisisUK I wouldn't listen to that person.
Let him keep thinking that 👍
Totally get your point and understandil you. Sorry about not including those Numatrks!
I'm sad my Numark NS7iii bit the dust, it's a hit or miss on whether it wants to fully function that day or not so I no longer gig with it but still have it around to mess with
Oh man! I'm so sorry to hear about your NS7ii Scottie! At least you've still got it.
But in overall, its just the person who can execute their skills no matter what type of equipment they use
Me personally, jog wheels are my on the go for DJing (both scratching and mixing)
Yes totally agree! It's what you use that matters the most!
Yea Denon is just so flexible! You can can literally walk in a club and you will still be good. Put your music in Dropbox and your good to go!!

Moving platters just have some magic in them! They feel great!
Hey Carlo, what about the S4 mk3, what are your thoughts about it? Thanks!
Love it! One of the best controllers ever, but I'm not so big on the moving jogwheels on that particular model
What's the difference between a media player and a controller? Thanks
Media player plays music from usbs, CDs, etc. Controllers need a computer to function!
Phase gives you the best of both worlds at an even more affordable price especially if you already own a pair of turntables 👌
Fairly true! Battery is the only thing working against you there haha, though it does last for quite a while
@@djcarlo so far I have never played long enough to see the battery depleted.
@@djcarlo but I must say I also own a pair of sc5000m's for an even more digital experience, I luv'em!!!!!!
Vast majority is a manner of perspective. When I began Dj'ing there were no ready made digital controllers. The few that were working off synths and keyboards alone at the time (closest comparison at the time) are now legends. When they started coming out the "vast majority" tended to see those fledgling controller setups as something of a gimmick and those using them as not being serious or "real" DJs. Times clearly change. I came up learning on turntables so a motorized controller feels incredibly comfortable given how familiar beatmatching via rpm control was a must have skill. Coming from that far back, I always get a laugh out of what people see as serious equipment/skills these days. As you've pointed out Carlo, how you put on the show and the rig you use is far less important than the quality of the show you put out. I imagine a digital rig, no motor, is great for most these days but a cat like me still loves his tables and anything that can bring that feel. Current setup is 2xTechnics, DDJ1000-SRT, best of both worlds for me.
Dang! That's a sick 4 deck setup! Must be huge though! Thanks for sharing your thoughts man! Glad you found this video of value and glad you shared your opinion on real DJs lol. That setup is sick! It's just way too big for me though haha
Is digital vinyl dying out ? I guess some will still prefer that classic feeling over Cotrollers of any type.
Hmmm, I wouldn't say that it's dying out. It's just that having a controller with motorized platters is easier to carry around and set up. I still prefer full turntables when doing exhibition sets.
The main learning is that you have to be flexible according to the situation.
That's true! It's good to always master each equipment!
2:47 Are you in the Taiwan's Shihfen Old Street?
2:52 Is that the Pioneer DJ Sanchuang Exhibition Center?
Yes and yes! I went to Taiwan!.check out my vlog on it!
Can u give me your overall opinion on the rev7 ?
I.....can't. Because it won't arrive in The Philippines for another 2ish months, so I haven't had the chance to touch one yet.
question: you showed an analog TT getting bumped. being that this is a digital platform, are these motorized controllers affected by bumps and booming bass? also, are TTs affected the same way if using the Phase unit?
The new motorized controllers aren't affected by them, and neither will turntables using Phase (unless you slam it hard enough to cause the platter itself to jump). However, since there are still DJs who use an analog/digital hybrid set up, needles will still skip if you're using timecodes.
@@djcarlo 👍

They are! Quite a cut above the rest.
The Technics cdjs had/have motorized platters and they were the worst cdjs I've ever used. I have been playing for 20 years and I learned and still play sometimes on vinyl and they were so touchy that you could barely touch then
Ooof, maybe that's why the Technics ones didn't stick around for long? I remember seeing them when they came out and, honestly, I was intimidated haha
Hey bro you didn’t mention the Traktor Kontrol s4. Any reason why? What’s your opinion about it?
Oops, I may have forgotten about it for this video. Mostly because it only works with Traktor, and it's not as open-ended as the gear here. My bad!
@@djcarlo ok thank you heaps bro for the reply! U r using Traktor as software aren't you? Still like it? And what do you think as a beginner controller the S4?
I use Djay AI right now, which have more morden functions and accurate grid match. i think all gears all support.
That's such a good software! Glad you like it!
Could you please do a video on Boris Brejcha's mixing and transition techniques?
Let me check out Boris for a possible future breakdown!
@@djcarlo Amazing, thanks for considering! He's my favourite DJ, I find his music and sets to be amazing :)
I like the motorised platters 🙂
Me too! Do you like the new ones though?
Unless you're a scratch DJ with all the fancy tricks there's no need for motorised platters... but I want them anyway just because I think they look better. Maybe because I learnt on vinyl though, something nostalgic about it.
There's some magic in those moving platters! Totally get ya!
Technics bought out motorised jog wheels even before the cdj1000 but they never caught on.
Right right! How I wish Technics would focus more.on the dj game!
2:34 Hungarians hit like just because
Hahahaha, not everyday I find a video for DJ equipment in Hungarian!
Hi, I love my rane twelve mk2, the best I have ever played. (reloop rp700mk2, red bull technics, denon vl12). I prever to use the 90g control Disc from 12inchskinz - really the best control Disc for scratching. The original black control disc is to heavy and not great for scratch.
Good stuff, and I see what you mean! The stock disc is heavier than 12 inch singles, so it's pretty different to scratch with.
@@djcarlo you will feel the difference, when you start BeatJoggling - it's a massive difference between the black heavy original and if you BeatJoggling with 90g control Disc from 12inchskinz. You can speed up the BeatJoggling, becouse they are so light
Do controllers with motorized platters have their own power supply?..coz if dont and it only relies to Bus power, another disadvantage is that it will easily drain your laptop's battery.
They all need their own power supply!
I just got a Traktor S4 with motorized jogs .. I never have them on :P
At least you've got the option to turn them on and off, right? Hahaha
Choose my old but excellent SL-1200MK3 de 1991 de Technics, bring from USA for use in clubs and discos for 2 decades
That's an absolute classic Guille! If it still works, keep it alive!
5:46 in this minute what turntable is this?
The Denon SC6000M Prime. All of it is on screen Daniel! 😄
