Our Story:
We are five years into a seven year effort of transforming 20 acres of "Piney Grove" in Northwest Florida into our dream homestead/mini farm to be filled with animals and joy. We plan to have a variety of miniature critters on our pastures, raise free-range chickens, grow fish in our pond, garden, plant fruit and nut trees, and harvest wild game. Our goal is
to escape the stresses of corporate life and embrace all that country living

There's a product you can put in your pond if it still leaks and you k ow approximately where it's leaking. It's a powder you sprinkle into the water. It sinks and expands. The idea being that it self-seeks the leak and fills it.

Nice work on the pond. For fishing purposes id have to keep the catfish holes a pond that size can grow monsters. I’m an excavator operator Also using foot controls just makes you a smoother more precise operator in my opinon, takes eye/hand/feet coordination. If you have both hands on granny sticks you can’t run the sticks at same time. You do a good job though brad.
When we can get the pond completely dry, we will reshape the bottom a little and give it some contours. Also probably put some pea gravel on this shallow end for spawning. The foot pedals are not really in a comfortable position, but I'm trying to use them more! Thanks for watching.
When I run an excavator, I put in on what I call backhoe mode. I've get told all the time it's an excavator, not a backhoe. But it would take me longer to operate in the normal way. I've been running backhoes off and on since the late 90s. I say just run it how it is comfortable for you because that's the way I am.

You guys are killing me! In your first video that you called "part 1" in which you promised to show the soil test being performed and the results, you abruptly end without giving so much as link to the follow up video. Now after publishing several other videos on different subject matter you now come back to this leaky pond business, saying you've gotten your results from your so called bucket tests, and you even show clips of you performing the tests. Why not just show us the test? And why not make the titles of your videos a bit more descriptive so your audience can follow up the "part two" which you promised to give in your "part one" video? 🤷♂
