Our Story:
We are five years into a seven year effort of transforming 20 acres of "Piney Grove" in Northwest Florida into our dream homestead/mini farm to be filled with animals and joy. We plan to have a variety of miniature critters on our pastures, raise free-range chickens, grow fish in our pond, garden, plant fruit and nut trees, and harvest wild game. Our goal is
to escape the stresses of corporate life and embrace all that country living

You say most all soils in the US have been mapped. Do you have a link to that information?

Great video if you're looking for a teaser. However if you are looking for the results of this so called test, I'm afraid you won't find it here, and good luck figuring out whether or not a follow up video on this test was ever published. I see no link for a "part 2" in the video or description.🤔

Put up some fencing and raise hogs for three years (overcrowd the area). Their hooves will pack the hell out of the banks and cause it to hold water.
Do y’all plan on adding any fish to your pond when completed?
Yes!! If it could hold water, it would already be stocked. Thanks for watching.
Why not make a road and bring Precious down and dig 4 foot holes around the pond? a clean ditch edge can tell a huge amount. I once hit a beautiful gravel vein a foot below a pond that would not hold water. Nothing but a liner will work then.
