Our Story:
We are six years into a seven year effort of transforming 20 acres of "Piney Grove" in Northwest Florida into our dream homestead/mini farm to be filled with animals and joy. We plan to have a variety of miniature critters on our pastures, raise free-range chickens, grow fish in our pond, garden, plant fruit and nut trees, and harvest wild game. Our goal is
to escape the stresses of corporate life and embrace all that country living
has to offer as we enter the next chapter of our lives. Follow along on our

I love that machine!
My KX71 had the same problem when it was only a few months old. I think it set a code E17. You need the fuel sender. It sets on top of the fuel tank between the battery and the side of the housing. A small round metal plate with 5 philips screws and a connector. It will lift straight out. About a 10 minute job. I believe the part was about $50. Can't wait to see your new house getting underway.
I figured it was the fuel sending unit....just another thing on the list to do! Thanks for watching!

Wanted to give you a tip when greasing your equipment.
I noticed you were wiping the fittings with a towel before greasing your fittings.
A can of brake parts cleaner works great
The pressure and the cleaner helps blow out all the old grease and dirt.😊
Be sure wear safety glasses because it will have blowback .

Thanks for watching. It's sandy with very little organic matter and also very acidic. Not deep rich topsoil like further North. Hard to grow anything useful without any amendments like lime and fertilizer. We most grow pine trees in this region!
