Love the before and after. Was looking to replace the deck on mine. Your video very helpful. Thankyou for the info on treated wood in contact with aluminum. Valuable info
No problem. Glad it helped you out.
Looks great Streeter!! I didn't know about the reaction of the treated plywood with aluminum, good to know. You'll definitely love that enclosure, no mess when you get to where you're going and it can also double as a storage trailer in the summer.
Thanks!
Your gonna love the enclosed trailer . Plus you just can't let those new sleds get dirty ! You might have to move your spare tire to make room for the cover to tilt ? Mark
Yes, I can’t wait. Last year I finally reached my breaking point when we were coming back in the rain and the cover for the Fusion came loose and I was getting soaked getting it back on.
Agree on the spare. I was thinking the same thing.
That looks great, I'm planning to do the same thing to mine.
Thanks. For about $80 it makes the trailer look brand new.
Nicely done!
Thanks Jeff!
Nice work boss!
Thanks!
2 questions: the screws go thru the plywood and right into the metal crossbars of the teailer frame? And where do you get the rubber pieces for the snow skis and center track (what are they called)? Thanks
yes they do. Dennis Kirk
Hello when you redecked it how many inches was the 1st ski tie down hole from the front of the trailer? it looks like 12 inches?
I think so. I used the old plywood as a template and drilled the holes
Wish you would have shown how you lined up the new fasteners with the old fasteners.
The holes for the tie down bars?
where do you find the caps? I have 98 Triton Lt 10x8.5ft
Cap?
have you heard of people using "Marine" plywood?? supposed to be water treated on both sides.
I have. Unfortunately I could never find it locally.
