Well this is probably just something Sin came up with or Sol told him as a joke in order to fuck with him
The reason Sin has an eyepatch is that he had one of his eyes removed and replaced with one of Ky’s eyes because all of Sin’s gear power was concentrated in his eyes, and having two was believed to be too much for him to handle, so Ky gave up one of his eyes to give to Sin while the other is sealed behind the eyepatch
This is also why Ky is able to dragon install, by unleashing the power within his son’s eye
To be quite honest with how GG's universe operates there's a non-zero chance someone COULD be born like this...
Especially Gears.

To be honest, Sin’s explanation reminds me of some of the weirder ways that gods were born in some mythologies.
A few examples:
• Amaterasu, Susano-o, and Tsukiyomi were all born when Izanagi washed his face after a harrowing trip to Yomi.
• Dionysus was born prematurely, then Zeus stored him in his thigh until he was ready to be properly born.
• *Pretty much everything with how the frost giant (?) Ymir birthed all the creatures they did.*
Aphrodite being born from seafoam and Chronos’s severed balls.
Don't forget Athena popping out of Zeus's forehead cause of big brained tactics

I love that Faust remains silent the whole time despite being present for Sins birth. He could have easily cleared things up but was either too focused on Delilah or found the whole thing funny.

@@guimaciel7457 Well, I did stretch it with perfectly sane, but he was still firmly in control in that scene, showcased by the fact he formulates a massive plan in just a few minutes. He certainly was not at his breaking point until the start of the plan, and only broke at the end of it.
Sin has a gift of making the room (or at least someone in the room) feel incredibly awkward...
Ramlethal will never stop being cute in her interactions...

I get the feeling in this universe eye-born people are extremely powerful, threatening, and grow very quickly, that’s why they were all shocked to hear his story, but he’s just too nice and too much of an airhead to be a threat.

A consistent fact about Guilty Gear characters I like is that they all look like drawings from a middle schooler's notebook but are all actually goobers in their own unique way.
Ram, Elphelt and Sin consistently bicker like siblings, despite holding unimaginable power.
That applies to all fantasy characters.
Keep in mind that the oldest one in the room is the most freaked out listening to Sin's story about the birds and the bees.
If this were any other franchise I'd be raising an eyebrow and wondering what the writers were smoking. However, given that it's Guilty Gear this isn't all that weird when compared to some of the other insane things that have happened in the franchise.

Well, her Japanese voice has her with a Kansai accent, which is a more rural part of Japan. Therefore, it makes sense that her English voice has her with a Southern US accent!

This wasn't how Sin was born lol he simply made up the story, probably when he was still a kid to explain why he didn't have a second eye. He would have seen Ky when Ky wore an eyepatch back in an older game. This was when Ky was having major anxiety about word getting out that he and Dizzy had Sin, hence him saying "dad got all freaked out."
I like to think it's actually the truth and gears are complicated. Ky's got it rough.
