As a person who grew up in the 90s and played way more than his fair share of Mortal Kombat games. Lemme say that if this is a finisher kind of move, which it seems like, then that is hilarious and awesome. Fatalities? Bah. Babalities? Pfft. Demonstrating the power gap and making your enemy piss themselves into submission? Hell yes.
Yeah, every character in the game has an attack like this where if performed successfully ends the fight instantly. That said Dizzy's is the only one where the attack in the ensuing animated sequence doesn't hit the target, hence the Surrendered instead of GG's usual DESTROYED
It's an instant finisher. Your opponent has to have low health for instant finishers to work, but when they do they do fun and cool animations like this where the announcer shouts ''DESTROYED'', but in the case of Dizzy they just surrender. It's really funny. Also, MK used to have something like this called Friendships, where the characters do funny things like give the opponent a present, do a dance or do tricks instead of killing the opponent. I wish they'd bring those back to MK11, cause they were fun.

About a year ago I was in a really bad place mentally. I decided to smoke a bowl and that kicked off one of the worst panic attacks I have ever had in my life. While it was going on I saw this video and decided to click on it. Between listening to Birthday Train and seeing everyone's hilarious reactions, by the time the video was over so was my panic attack. I know it's kinda weird to say all this and that you probably won't see it, but thanks for putting this together and uploading it. You really helped this random person when they needed it.
It's these little details that I love about this game. They could have just easily made everyone show the same reaction, but everyone has their own expression and gestures. I love it! :)

To be clear dizzy has more then one defense protocal like her systems undine and necro are highly versatile they got more in there arsenal then every other character I mean they can make flame swords lasers axes tail monsters ice pillars bubbles explosions and if dizzy is in serious danger her wings of light is like her ultimate defense protocal and to escape serious injury her systems are capable of taking full control over like when she falls off Johnny's ship to prevent death necro gains full control over dizzy and even takes on his own form before just reeking havoc across the GG universe or like when Faust fingers her booty undine takes the hit all I'm saying is if someone can stop her explosive power she can easily switch up style lore wise I don't ever see dizzy fighting but if she did I don't ever see her loseing gameplay wise you gotta suck preety bad to lose with dizzy I mean dizzy sol and jam are like either easiest or heaviest hitting in the whole game sol being easiest dizzy and jam being the heavy hitters I honestly forgot what my point was something about dizzy for sure but I don't member where I was going with this

Sorry for the late response, but I think it's because Slayer is considered lore-wise to be literally invincible. Unsure though, you may want to ask someone who knows more about GG than I do.
So, funny that. There's an audio drama that's basically I-No (while timeline hopping) letting Ky die in the Holy War, and that eventually leads to Dizzy taking up Justice's mantle in the war against humans. XD
@Ezra Nobleheart Nah Baiken isn’t that old. She was born and raised in one of the Japanese colonies that was created after Justice blew up Japan. Her colony did get destroyed by Gears, but it’s a completely different incident from Justice nuking Japan.
I'm amused with the Dizzy vs Alt-Dizzy instakill, where alternate Dizzy realizes how much power she has, so she surrenders because she doesn't want to ESCALATE. That wasn't the peak of her power. But if she continues it's going to become WORSE.
No, she is scared, she changed a lot as a character, now having a personality and emotions, in the story and isn't a tool of the Universal Will anymore. You're thinking of Slayer's reaction.

It's kind of strange that Jack-O would be surprised by this though when her Insta-Kill consists of seemingly flying out of the galaxy and proceeding to Rider Kick the earth in an explosion that looks massive *from space*, while also claiming that next time she'll go and shatter the Earth with it. ...Compared to that sh*t, a nuke-like explosion should be like a blip in the radar tbh.

@@zera-zero Yeah, there are even examples of it out there (like All Might from Hero Academia getting hit by his own attack) or you could even go ahead and punch a wall with all your strength (that's 100% your energy - wall doesn't move).
You could say the same about sol i think as far as the characters go who are as strong as dizzy they simply wouldn't fight her because they know it wouldn't be a a simple fight it would be earth shattering and who knows how much power dizzy actually has I'm sure other strong characters would just rather not take the risk of being destroyed and/or completely obliterating the planet as well

+Anthony Pacheco Oh Dizzy is crazy OP alright, but Slayer appears to be on another level. His reaction to her Instant Kill pretty much serves as an example. While everyone else surrenders due to fear, shock, horror *or even **_orgasm_** in Raven's case,* Slayer seems to do so simply to avoid collateral damage or something. He is not one bit intimidated, unlike the rest of the cast, so I think he wasn't concerned for his own well being. At least that's how I interpretated it. Besides, it's well known that, like Dizzy, Slayer holds back A LOT of his own power when it comes tofighting, the difference being that Dizzy does so out of fear she'll harm others around her (she lacks control), while Slayer simply doesn't see a reason to go all out against anyone as of yet. (he seems perfectly in control)
Dizzy may be a monster, but she's the kindhearted monster who just threw everything into keeping you from getting hit by that. You're welcome. Also man, what a royal family... and getting stronger with their newest additions.

Shadowwarrior 27 I don't know why, but I pictured Robin from Fire Emblem delivering that line. He's the avatar of Grima and one of the most OP units in the history of the series, so it makes sense he could shrug off an attack like that. He always did have a rather dry, witty sense of humor. And with the Outrealms being a thing that exists, a crossover like this isn't too farfetched. Like, he just built a vacation home in the middle of nowhere, unaware that it used to be Japan, only for it to be blown up by a stray attack. Great, now I'm imagining the reactions of the characters upon seeing this flaming man stride forth from the explosion, completely unfazed, only to deliver a line like that and walk off.

Fun fact, the bedframe actually does turn its head in Bedman's animation. You can tell because of the shifting shadows. It isn't visible in frame as the focus is on romeo instead.

As a person who grew up in the 90s and played way more than his fair share of Mortal Kombat games. Lemme say that if this is a finisher kind of move, which it seems like, then that is hilarious and awesome. Fatalities? Bah. Babalities? Pfft. Demonstrating the power gap and making your enemy piss themselves into submission? Hell yes.
Yeah, every character in the game has an attack like this where if performed successfully ends the fight instantly. That said Dizzy's is the only one where the attack in the ensuing animated sequence doesn't hit the target, hence the Surrendered instead of GG's usual DESTROYED
It's an instant finisher. Your opponent has to have low health for instant finishers to work, but when they do they do fun and cool animations like this where the announcer shouts ''DESTROYED'', but in the case of Dizzy they just surrender. It's really funny. Also, MK used to have something like this called Friendships, where the characters do funny things like give the opponent a present, do a dance or do tricks instead of killing the opponent. I wish they'd bring those back to MK11, cause they were fun.

About a year ago I was in a really bad place mentally. I decided to smoke a bowl and that kicked off one of the worst panic attacks I have ever had in my life. This is one of my favorite supers/ultimates in all of fighting games
The variety of their faces along with the Irony of “winning isn’t what we’re after” then immediately “Dizzy wins!”
It's kind of strange that Jack-O would be surprised by this though when her Insta-Kill consists of seemingly flying out of the galaxy and proceeding to Rider Kick the earth in an explosion that looks massive *from space*, while also claiming that next time she'll go and shatter the Earth with it.
...Compared to that sh*t, a nuke-like explosion should be like a blip in the radar tbh.
Her expression is pretty unreadable there, maybe under the mask she just though "k cool I guess"

That's true. Just because your attacks are really strong doesn't always mean you'll survive getting hit by something similar.
@@zera-zero Yeah, there are even examples of it out there (like All Might from Hero Academia getting hit by his own attack) or you could even go ahead and punch a wall with all your strength (that's 100% your energy - wall doesn't move).
You could say the same about sol i think as far as the characters go who are as strong as dizzy they simply wouldn't fight her because they know it wouldn't be a a simple fight it would be earth shattering and who knows how much power dizzy actually has I'm sure other strong characters would just rather not take the risk of being destroyed and/or completely obliterating the planet as well

+Anthony Pacheco Oh Dizzy is crazy OP alright, but Slayer appears to be on another level. His reaction to her Instant Kill pretty much serves as an example. While everyone else surrenders due to fear, shock, horror *or even **_orgasm_** in Raven's case,* Slayer seems to do so simply to avoid collateral damage or something.
He is not one bit intimidated, unlike the rest of the cast, so I think he wasn't concerned for his own well being. At least that's how I interpretated it.
Besides, it's well known that, like Dizzy, Slayer holds back A LOT of his own power when it comes tofighting, the difference being that Dizzy does so out of fear she'll harm others around her (she lacks control), while Slayer simply doesn't see a reason to go all out against anyone as of yet. (he seems perfectly in control)
Yeah lore wise Slayer is pretty much like a god merely observing what mortals are doing

I don't know why, but I pictured Robin from Fire Emblem delivering that line.
He's the avatar of Grima and one of the most OP units in the history of the series, so it makes sense he could shrug off an attack like that. He always did have a rather dry, witty sense of humor. And with the Outrealms being a thing that exists, a crossover like this isn't too farfetched. Like, he just built a vacation home in the middle of nowhere, unaware that it used to be Japan, only for it to be blown up by a stray attack.
Great, now I'm imagining the reactions of the characters upon seeing this flaming man stride forth from the explosion, completely unfazed, only to deliver a line like that and walk off.

Fun fact, the bedframe actually does turn its head in Bedman's animation. You can tell because of the shifting shadows. It isn't visible in frame as the focus is on romeo instead.
