I've been trying to wrap my head around the design decisions in Halo, particularly if regenerating health and the two weapon limit are good ideas. It'd be great if you could shine a light on these essential differences between Halo and the regular PC boomer shooters. Apparently many games tried and failed to emulate Halo's success, and I wonder if today's shooters are missing out on something that Halo can bring to the table or if Halo is just this strange outlier unicorn of a series that can't mesh with the rest.
