I think the best thing about these videos are that you can see in real time how Zak adapts to how Inertia's feeling that day - working on the fly. It's really helped me understand my own dog and what might be going through her head when she's "not listening" or "not attentive". Instead of getting frustrated, now I say "Maybe I gotta pull back and let her have a few easy "wins" to get her full attention on me again" :)

Zak, out of all the training videos I've seen, yours have been the most useful. Especially the "getting a puppy to stop biting" ones. It's so easy to redirect our puppy and wear him out with a good game of tug-of-war. He usually just chews on his toys after that. I bought your book before we got him and it's my bible right now.

I love how inertia just sprinter down the stairs at 6:50 when she was quite scared of them a few Months ago. She has grown so much both physically and mentally. What a good girl is she becoming 😍

I love your videos, especially because my dog is about thesame age, so your videos pop up at the time we need them! My dog is not at his best behavior during our evening walk but he is dreamy during our morning walk. I understsnd this is because he is not as rested and focused in the evenings, but I need this to improve.

My biggest struggle with dog training is when we got our dog we obviously did the basic training, but we didn’t do any leash training or reactivity training because we didn’t think it was important, but a year and a half later it’s important!He is such a big puller on leash now and is very reactive to other dogs so now he has a bunch of bad behaviours and habits engraved in his mind. So it’s really hard to train him to not do those things or to not react as bad to other dogs. But slowly but surely he has been improving, it just gets hard sometimes because it seems like we go one step forward and two steps back but I’m not giving up, because training your dog is something you are going to need to do for most if not all of your dogs life.

We just got a new German shepherd puppy named Rue and she is very very smart we’ve had her for a week so far and she hasn’t had a single potty training accident I took her out the other night she went pee and poop and than when I went to take her back in she started whining and pulling so I let her out longer and she had to poop again. That showed me that at only ab a month and a half old she knew that she had to poop outside in the back yard and when she did she went back inside at ease. Most likely Bc we’ve been rlly hard on potty training her giving her good quality food that don’t make her poop excessively, we use wellness I find it to be a good quality food, taking her out 20min after she eats to potty and if she doesn’t we just 10-15 min while keeping a close eye on her until she goes outside. And we’ve been kennel training her and taking her out in the middle of the night when she whines. Hopefully she keeps up the excellent progress. But at her age she’s very smart and very happy with us she’s even starting to get along with the cats they were play fighting across the room earlier which was surprising. I want to thank you for your videos Bc they have helped a bit along the way with training her. Although i find myself as someone who knows a good bit at training dogs you’ve taught me a couple things i didn’t know

My tip is if you have a garden or a closed area outside you can first try it there when it works try to do it outside not in a garden that's how i did it with my friends dog

I’m new to this channel, so far the videos have been very helpful! I have a almost 5 yr old husky, he isn’t around kids too often but the other day he tried to mount my nephew and when I tried to intervene he got a bit aggressive with me. Any tips???
I have one that is super low energy and stubborn as all heck. He will sit down, and nothing, and I mean nothing, will move this little shitzu mix. He's been like this since we got him qt 4 months. So, if he is off leash and he doesn't want to walk, he will sit and not move. Not for a squirrel not for treats, not for another dog. Super sweet dog, great to travel with, just stubborn. He has to have an eye on me so he stays close. Training is on his terms.

Hi 👋 I’ve not long started to watch your videos first question is how old is Inertia now? I’m planning on getting a dog for my ASD daughter who will be a service dog for her and I plan to use your videos as well as a service dog trainer to train our dog to help my child with her anxiety attacks. I’m forward planning and educating myself before I bring a pup home but I like your video because I can go into this with my eyes open understand what to expect with each stage of a dog’s life?

Hi, I’m Ellen Lovellette, an almost 11 year old girl with a 150 IQ and an 11 month old Boxer puppy named Loki. Loki has a few problems that I would love you to help me with. I have successfully trained my puppy because of you and your channel, so I’m looking to you for some advice. Loki chases anything and everything with wheels, and got his middle toe cut in half chasing the lawn mower. I taught him not to jump, but now he jumps in everyone besides me and almost knocked my grandparents over! Loki is bred from two intelligent and strong show dogs so I think he has a lot of potential. Please help!
