This brings me such joy. I loved this video. I'm glad Inertia had a great time!
BTW, I'm blind and find your videos very easy to follow, even though I can't see them. Thanks for talking so much throughout your videos. They help me understand what you're refering to, especially when you explain what she's doing. 🤗 Your love for your pupper inspires me to be a better hooman for my dogs every day.
How do you type?
@@benitocheeto.shames I have something on my iPhone/laptop called a screen-reader. On my phone, it will read the keyboard aloud, and when I find a letter, I double tap to enter that letter. Alternatively, I can dictate what I want to say into an edit field, such as this one I'm typing in right now. I can then have my screen-reader read aloud the dictated text, so I can check it for errors.
However, on my laptop, I learned to touch type with feedback from my screen-reader, and now because I can feel the keyboard, I can touch type without my screen-reader announcing each letter.

recent geology graduate here! a lot of rocks found on beaches are parent material from the land! possibly washed down from the cliff and eroded by the ocean tides to look smooth and round. you can expect a lot of sandstone, carbonate material from marine life, and since you're in alaska, there's a potential for igneous rocks as well!
Also all of those rocks got broken down and mixed up by glaciers then further tossed around by rivers and oceans, especially around the North Pacific.
Yea I was thinking that it was primarily glacial deposits along with the volcanic activity in the region
Can you talk about how you brought
Inertia on a plane
She must be a secret service dog!
It was a crate or the pet/luggage part
Some planes have a place the pets go so they can go with you
Watching a dog running full speed around in an area just for the pure delight of doing it is such a beautiful thing to watch
I like how you seem super humble
UA-cam: It’s ok to notify her 25 minutes late...
Me:I NEED MY DOG TRAINING VIDEOS
IDK HOW INERTIA IS SOOO SMART.
Because Zack trainer her like hell( the king of dog trainers)
His job is to literally train his dog. I wish that was my job 😭 I bet my dog would be super smart too if I trained and played with her all the time
@@_Hanako. it also depends on the dog you have border collies are just very smart dog breeds and its easier to train them then other breeds that arent so smart. (i have a border collie and 2 other dog breeds so i know)
Inertia is so smart and gorgeous!! Love her❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My dad had a border collie when he was younger and I’ve been wanting a dog for 10 years and I’m hoping to rescue a border collie as they’re my fav. And your channel has helped me know how to look after a dog from being a puppy to an adult. So thank you
My dad has had collies all my life and they have always been my favourite dog and a year ago I was finally allowed to rescue one, be prepared for hard work and an intelligent little pup but you won’t regret it, she’s everything I thought a collie would be and more
That’s cool I’m glad you rescued as well. Ik they’re a lot of work, aww your pup sounds amazing and cute
You should teach her the buttons that let her speak english!!! It would be so interesting how it effects your communication with inertia
I don't even have a dog, but I am addicted to watching Zak's videos🥰🥰
Watching Inertia just on her free walk just made my heart SO full ! And I was shook by that plane !! I love how inertia dove and cane right back up ! Shows she is quite desensitized to new things !!
I finally bought my golden retriever puppy I am going to use your videos to teach him
First time hearing the term "free walk." Loved that "arch" she dug! :)
Love u man. Ur the king of dog trainers
Hi zak when I finally get a bulldog I am going to use ur videos to help me
Yay my puppy is trained
just in time getting a golden doodle in October I need to thank you tysm Zak
Don’t overpay please
just saying, everything is a lot more difficult than zak says it is 😭😭
well I think hard work is good for a dog
@@jordanli2552 he is a professional dog trainer, so of course he's a lot more comfortable and confident in his abilities than a novice.
My poodle is pregnant. The puppy's will be Maltipoo (poodle×maltese)
ahh the best videos on youtube
I've recently discovered the 'joys' of the long leash. Its great to be able to let your dog run around and explore, while not being able to let them OFF leash. My dog loves it, and its gotten to the point that if I do let her off leash, she often just sticks within leash range anyway. (she's a bit of a velcro dog. Not complaining!) The only problem is if they're at the end and see something they react to. (aka running deer or running cat, in our case. :P Still a work in progress there.) Big dog, hitting the end of a long leash...oof. Not fun. Though she is good 99% of the time.
With my girl, we tend to take fairly long walks anyway, and I like to 'rotate' the walk's agenda. It's always a 'free walk', but we'll punctuate it with little training periods. Exploration and sniffies, then stop and play a few training games/get a check-in, then she can go back to exploring and sniffing. Someone coming, or coming to a busy area, I'll get her to check in, we'll do some short-leash work until we're alone or safe again, then she can go back to exploring and sniffing. It seems to work for us. Keeps her engaged with me, but still able to explore, sniff and have fun too. But then, our walks do tend to take an hour to 45 minutes each day anyway. It works. I do the same general 'routine' on or off-leash. Even if we can go walk in an off-leash area, I still try to get her to keep engaged with me, and check in periodically, between her sniffing and exploring.
Loved seeing how quicky Inertia recovered after getting startled by that plane. Can't blame her for ducking. That was CLOSE. Wow.
Hi Zak, you inspired me to be a dog trainer when I grow up.(Yes, I am a kid) I have heard a lot of bad dog care and training methods that I did not know exist from my friends. I want to have a UA-cam channel just like yours and tell people the same information about dogs like you. It really breaks my heart to see many type of bad conditions that many dogs are in and I want to help them. Thank you for the insperation!
That's great! I'm rooting for you, girl!
Free walks are the best!! My high-energy Icelandic Sheepdog is getting one almost every day... so essential to her well-being!
What a great session! Interestingly enough- I did this very thing with my six-month old Dachshund puppy today. She loved every second of her “ independent” exploring. Keep the Pupper fun going, Zak/Bree/Inertia. 👍🏻
I love the way Inertia was enjoying the new environment! I gotta do this for my dog as well!
I first started watching Zaks videos for training my uncles puppy, and now I just watch them to see inertia🥰
I’ve binge watched your series for the second time because I’m getting a dog in November and prepping myself for it. Love your videos so much. 😊😊😊
That looks like so much fun with lil inertia!😃
Zak Im really happy seing you are still on youtube, I used to watch you in my earlie teens dreaming about one day owning my lab and now I ha e since a few years, just checking in again. Lots of videos to catch up on which I look forward to, I most enjoy your genuin plsitive additude which always came through in your videos and Im shure all the dogs feel too.
I always wished to see such a video with a smart dog and beautiful scenery thanks soooooo much zak and bree❤❤❤😊😊
i have gone through a lot of dog training videos on youtube and found none better than Zak's. But with Inertia now, just let her host these videos and you will have views and subscribers shooting through the roof!!!! 🥰🥰
Are you guys going to talk about the trip to Alaska? I’d be so interested to know how you traveled with Inertia.
This is just one amazing smart dog .all of the hard work is because of you putting effort into it
She is really smart!
Another great video. I do a lot of free walks with my dog so he can discover.
My hometown!! So crazy seeing you in places I recognize!
This helped me so much for my Maltipoo! Thanks!
Looks like you guys had a great time, How wonderful =D !
My puppies arriving on Friday let’s hope you’ve taught me enough Zak but I’m feeling ready for her
Thank you! My dog is good at tricks she can show off, but her recall and off leash needs work. Thank you!
The Indian~♥~ people also loves to see you and inertia sir and we like to see ur video . How many Indians also watch hit like so that sir can also know he is loved by us ♥
I just adopted a new brittany mix puppy, thanks zak your training tips are helping a lot.🙂
Finally I got the episode I wanted ❤
Your videos have helped me so much
His wife seemed so happy and excited to be there
Zak you should start a series called vlog of the dog wherein you vlog with inertia and caption her or something and just roam around and walk freely sharing both of your and your wife’s experiences and just do nothing 🙂😃
I am getting miniature šnaucer in November. I followed this series since beginning and now I can't wait to train my new puppy.
9:45 Oh my God, look how inertia jumped 😱😱😱😱
Bro i have been waiting for to long I love your dogs zak
Me and my dog watch all your videos Zak. My Aussie shepherd is so similar to Inertia and he recognizes your voice in the intros and comes running. Thanks for the info, Keep up the good work.
Aww, Inertia is so cute!
Early! Love Inertia. She helps me teach things to my puppy, Inertia is just a big fur ball! LOL! Love your channel.
I’m not even trying to be like this but you can’t be the best dog trainer on UA-cam and have some crusty shoes, get some air max’s or some sperry’s lol... all joking aside these videos are a great help and this series has made my dog’s training very easy
Inertia is sooo smart!!!
your content is great
Your video’s help me so much! I’m getting a English mastiff/Rottweiler from my sister. I get her on October 18th tomorrow marks her 1 month!
You are here in Alaska and hiking April Bowl in Hatcher Pass!? The dogs and I were just there the other night. Would have been a shock to have met you along the trail! That is just a hop, skip and a jump from my house. Dang. Sorry the dogs and I will miss out on meeting you and Inertia. I hope you have a great visit to this amazing and beautiful state. Please, come back when you can do a dog training seminar!!
Thanks for sharing!
Love this!!
U r really awesome 😯🤩I hope I can become a dog trainer too in future..i am just soooooo madly in love with dogs🐕♥️
Amazing!
I watched you're videos when i first got my jack russell and i still do (she is 5 months old)
Hi Zak, you should do a checkup on her speak and quiet skills, I think those tricks are the coolest!
where is your long lead from? love it.
thank you for all your videos!!
again...almost called my dog Inertia. awesome videos very very very helpful
Hi Inertia, Bree and and Zak! I'm one of your biggest fans and i have bought your books (though i don't have a dog yet) Lol
Lots of love! :)
I love Inertia! I love her curious and lively nature. :) And, on top of her amazing dogality, she's absolutely beautiful! :)
Inertia is doing so well! Did she ever chew the long line? Mym pup (nearly 6m old) is a nightmare for chewing the long line. It's at the point now where I can't use it at all, which sucks as the secure field I can let him off lead in I can only use once a week. I normally walk him on a running harness as I walk with a stick, and it frees up a hand so I can train him. But yeah, a video on stopping your dog from frustration-chewing whatever lead they are ttached to would be awesome!
INERTIA IS SO CUTE oh and btw I love ur shirt zak.
Zeal should consider playing ultimate frisbee. He has a really nice throw
Nobody:
Literally nobody
UA-cam: Let’s notify her 15 minutes late she won’t care
Me: ahhh
SpeXxY Hi!
hi again :)
XD
Isabel THeavey Hi lol
Hello from Italy! Getting my first puppy next week. She's a beagle
So if I do free walks, my dog will become better on leash?
Cause she can be a nightmare sometimes, but I do love her
Hi! I’ve seen a lot of your videos and I love them! I recently got a puppy and she has learnt a lot from your videos. I was wondering if it’s possible that some instructions should be taught first and some should come later? Would you recommend which instructions a puppy should learn first? And what should comes next?
Inertia is so darn cute. Did you take Intertia on a plane? I really wanted to take my dog to Alaska when I visited my brother. We did get to hike all the mountains with his two dogs. Enjoy your time in Alaska. I've never been anywhere so beautiful. The glaciers are especially fun to explore and climb! Another beg from me to keep showing Inertia, please, please, please!!!
WoW your in Alaska!!!!!!! Its my dream to go there one day :D 🤩
Thanks God and You for this video, My samoyed si very good with it's training BUT leash walking is what we struggle with.I've tried everything. So I hope this works.
Curious if you gonna do something with fireworks to for December. My dog is 8 months old don’t know what to do
Hi Zak! Thanks a ton for sharing your perspective in such an accessible way. You have shaped my relationship with my dog, you have given me many invaluable lessons that I have also started using in my interpersonal relationships as well LOL. I am looking to purchase a long leash that does not burn my hands when I have to grab when my dog bolts. What material would you suggest?
I used to watch Cesar Milan and I never nip my dog in a butt except maybe a couple times when he was very little, I used to be fan until I started watching zaks dog training and positive reinforcement is definitely the way to go, I would never hit my kids so I treat my dog like my only child which he is and he is a golden retriever, I also decided not to neuter him because he is so gentle with other dogs and I understand it's all about how you train them, I don't want to be judged for not neutering him but it's my personal decision and I watch him like a hawk when he's playing with other dogs and sniffing around, unlike many dog owners I've seen 😒, I've been to a dog park once and I'll never go back, I've seen fights and my dog almost got humped, so I don't see the reason the neuter him. Ive seen many irresponsible owners out there. Thanks zak for all your advice
Wait did he move to Alaska?
I LOVE Inertia's harness. Where can I get one? It would look amazing on my black lab! And the long lead. I love a black, purple, pink combo!
At what point here was Inertia “terrible” on the leash? Compared to most dogs who would be considered “bad” on a leash, I don’t see Inertia even coming close
I love her harness, can you tell us where you got it?
Zak, your videos are wonderful, thank you so much. I've followed your videos for a while now, any tips for disabled handlers, specifically those who use mobility aids like canes or wheelchairs? I love my pup but he turned out to be extremely energetic and while he does quite well with training exercises, nothing seems to tire him out enough for a leash session that doesn't end up hurting me (not his fault that he'ssuper smart and I'm a bit gimpy). What can I do?
At 4:33 I cant tell if he's joking or not! It's funny either way (:
I would love to know how you travelled to Alaska? Did you fly? Or drive? How was the trip with Inertia?
Welcome to Alaska!
Hey! Love your videos, they are very informative. I have a 9 week old puppy, and he always whines/cries when I take him out for walks and just sits down. Is there anything I can do so he can enjoy walks?
Nice
Hi ........... Please make video if there is leg bending problem please 🙏🙏🙏
Hi can you do a video on training two dogs at not pulling on the leash, I walk both my dogs and I feel like I'm being pulled by a group of huskies.
Hey Zak, what kind of harness do you use for Inertia?
yeah
I am getting a German Shepard x maremma puppy any tips
I'd love to take my dogs places like this but they're still in the process of learning the basics, and it's hard training them both at once so I take a one at a time approach but the problem is that they have really bad separation anxiety with each other. I got them a bit older and they'd already spent all their time together so as soon as they're apart at all they scratch and yelp and freak out. Do you have any tips on dealing with this so I can take them out one at a time to just get the basics down?
What was the temp like there?? I always think of Alaska as 30 degrees at most.
MORE BREE (BRI??) IN VIDEOS !!! her voice is so relaxing. not that zak's isn't. but you know what I mean
I wish we could have a video on the opposite problem-my boss acquired an 8 yr old Maltese rescue dog that has never been walked and when they tried to walk her, she takes a few steps and stops. How to teach her to walk?
We are going around the USA with our animals in a few months to get to our new house and our dogs are very nervous in cars (we will be in a rv) but I was just wondering how to deal with car anxiety
My puppy do not have interest on me. The house is new to him what can i do please make a video on it. I request you please.
