Some asshole had the audacity to give ENP a bad review on trip advisor saying it was boring as you're not allowed to ride the elephants,wtf,do they not understand theses beautiful souls come from traumatic backgrounds.I know some ""sanctuaries" offer the chance to bathe with the elephants but people should feel privileged just to be in their presence & admire them from a respectful distance.ENP is the real deal & lek truly is an angel
You need to invite travel agents and luxury tour operators and consortium's -Virtuoso, Signature, Vacations.com to the Elephant Nature Park so they will understand not to offer tours of elephant riding or trekking......I have sent emails to a lot of them and their response was not favorable...tourists think it is ok if it is being offered by their travel agent or tour operator.....
Yep, a lot of work to do here. And you have to deal with opposite interest. For people exploiting elephant, they are a commodity or an asset which should cost the least and make the most revenue (like human work just the same) Having some laws protecting elephant would be a good start I believe. WHat lek is doing is extremely important not just for the happy elephants having the good fortune to come here but also for educating people.

This is wonderful work that you are doing by saving the majestic African elephants. In this particular case, mama elephant was so pissed off that she was driven away but I'm sure after she thought about it later she realized that it was your heroic efforts that saved her baby calf. I'm sure she was grateful. Keep up the good work and thank you!

Les torturan, les esclavizan, los mutilan, los matan de hambre, no les curan sus heridas ni las fracturas de sus piernas. Los dejan impedidos después de trabajar muy duro. Separan a las madres de sus bebés para que ella trabaje duro y dé rendimientos económicos a su dueño. ¡Oh Dios! ¿Cuándo acabará el martirio de estas pobres criaturas que son muy inteligentes y guardan en su memoria el recuerdo de estos suplicios? ¿Por qué la UNESCO o la ONU no interviene y obliga a los gobiernos de países con elefantes a dictar leyes que los protejan?
