And gluten free and oxalate free, too, and no arsenic or cyanogenic glycosides like other gluten free flours.

We make this just about every other day. After the first bite, it is so addicting and you can eat all that you want without feeling guilty. It is protein.

I find chickpea flour tastes like metal. I keep trying to like it but I just can't. Any suggestions?

@@nathanbrisset7157I've had (and liked it) it in other recipes from restaurants, so I'm curious as to what to do differently at home. It's unfortunate that I need to clarify that I'm asking for COOKING suggestions.

@@nathanbrisset7157 Ummmmm ... I wasn't suggesting to change the flour, jeez how did you come to that conclusion? Chickpea flour DOESN'T taste like metal when I have it at restaurants, so AGAIN I emphasize how to make it taste different at HOME. Just forget it because you're not comprehending my basic written words ... wow, unbelievable!

I made my own chickpea flour from your recipe. My socca is not runny after sitting for 30 minutes. It’s thick and resembles the consistency of bread dough. What should I do to switch it up?

I'd take a guess and say either not enough water..or not mixed enough. good luck. Was it runny before 30 minutes?

i think the salt is too much! I have to eat this with bread as it is too salty. suggest to reduce your salt to at most 1/4 tsp. Thanks!

This flatbread is a basic meal in Italy. It's called 'fainá' and it's often eaten along with the traditional mozzarella pizza.

This shit is not Socca, it's Chickpea Flatbread or Chickpea pancake at best, but not Socca, you need a pizza oven that heats over 400° and heat the oil to that temperature before incorporating your mixture for this to work.

You don't need so much oil. The result is the same with just enough oil to prevent the batter from sticking to the pan.
