That's a pretty cool case. I wish Retroflag updated their MegaPi case to support the Pi4, and I also wish they'd make a portable built around the CM4 module.
I have the US variation for the Pi 3. It's a great case and it was only 12 dollars when I picked it up. I need to pick up one of the controllers to go with it, but for now I'm using an old iBuffalo. The end result is much better than the SNES Classic Mini.
Good news! I own already the same case for my raspberry pi 3b+. I bought also a pi4 but unfortunately there was only available the nespi case. Now i can buy that superpi 4 case!!! Unfortunately it's out of stock. I'll wait... Thanks for sharing!!!!
The fan in this case is so loud I have tried it facing both ways Perhaps there’s a way to configure the fan to only switch on when the pi reaches a certain temp
Why not say something about the temperatures? Everyone complains about this case for letting the CPU running too hot because there is zero ventilation even with a fan.
Sorry off topic I was listening to a podcast you did recently about the Ofin project great podcast Bern listening to it a few times lol anyways quick question you mention a way of 480p GameCube with the dolphin how would you go about this??
How is the WiFi, Bluetooth and USB hub? Is it broken like on the NES case? Their NES is not shielded properly I heard. Any issues here with the SNES case?
IS THIS CASE ABLE TO SUFFICIENTLY HANDLE SPACE INVADERS ATARI 2600 VERSION WHEN I PLAY IT?? OR WILL LARGE CRACKS APPEAR LIKE WITH EVERY OTHER CASE I HAVE TRIED?
Good question is it normal for a 8bitdo Sn30 Pro Dpad kinda move a little also the design of the OG snes was actually changed due to some Americans think it's a bag of bread 🥪
I have a Raspberry Pi 2 model B laying around. What is the best optimized emulator for it? I would like to play up to SNES and maybe a couple of n64 games. Great videos by the way. You'll get bigger and bigger.
Pi 2 is a bit too weak for N64, but you can do SNES with Retro Pie. It's the easiest to get going, but you could also use Batocera. The emulators are preinstalled.
Hello, where can I get a good instruction how to add a shutdown script? I have a 32GB SD Card and a hard drive with games and looking to install it into this case.
hey Taki I'm a new sub my friend sent me your last video 👍 if I get a s20 would that be good enough for 720p on GameCube and Citra mostly looking at playing pokémon games like pokémon xd gale of darkness or pokemon alpha sapphire X and Y etc
It is correct, that is what a pal snes looks like, and considering he has a western audience, pal vs ntsc when describing console designs works and makes sense

One of your wishes may come true...
MegaPi case would be amazing. Picked up the new Case a few weeks ago. I want a Genesis version for my pi4

Another one!
ETA prime just showed the Playstation one today that has it's own screen
Is that fan inserted in reverse? It will pull air from inside of the case maybe
the little fan is really loud, is there a way to slow it down? I know it will cool less that way but I cant stand the buzzing.
The fan is sooooo loud yes
There might be a way to set it that the fan switches on when the pi hits a certain temp ?
Awesome!! I hope Retroflag bring us an updated Megapi case for the RPI4 or give us some Saturn or Dreamcast like case!
Or maybe a Sega tower of doom!!
I read the *feet are too small* for it to *PULL AIR IN* correctly. You should raise the rubber feet a few mm
Would I be able to put Lakka on it and still use the command line for the working power/reset or do I need to use batocera?

Love the SNES, may look into it.
Personally I think the cart is a missed opportunity. The idea of it being a spare card holder is lame.
So if i want to play i need to transfer some games from PC to the game console? It is not coming with the games inside. Correct?
thx for the video! will you be doing a video for the pistation lcd case?
Can you use any other type of controller for this device. Specifically any other type of controller with a joystick
How is the WiFi, Bluetooth and USB hub? Is it broken like on the NES case? Their NES is not shielded properly I heard. Any issues here with the SNES case?
But why not directly to play these games on an emulator on Win or Mac with Gamepads?
do you have a link for the fan? do you recommend running a heatsink?
IS THIS CASE ABLE TO SUFFICIENTLY HANDLE SPACE INVADERS ATARI 2600 VERSION WHEN I PLAY IT?? OR WILL LARGE CRACKS APPEAR LIKE WITH EVERY OTHER CASE I HAVE TRIED?
=)
Isn't the 8gb model kinda wasted if your main purpose is to run Batocera?
The lower configuration Pi 4s have such inflated prices in China that the 8GB version is the best value for the money.
Indeed, because 32bit can utilise max 4gb ram only
Good question is it normal for a 8bitdo Sn30 Pro Dpad kinda move a little also the design of the OG snes was actually changed due to some Americans think it's a bag of bread 🥪
You mean the travel distance of the DPAD is small, or it moves side to side?

@@TakiUdon Thank you to take the time to reply. Appretiate it. I'll probably install Retro Pi then. Thanks for the awesome content!
@@TakiUdon Latest batocera with the rpi3b snes case freezes. I had to use retro pie or recalbox to stop it from happening.
@@TakiUdon test more AetherSX2 need to see how WWE games perform and others
Great video! Just got my PI now need a case. Do you know if the side columns on the monitor can be removed? Prefer to make it full screen
You can stretch the image to 16:9 to remove the border.
@@TakiUdon awesome thanks so much :)
@@TakiUdon just subscribed :)
I've given up on retro gaming on raspberryPi. There's just too much input lag and that bugs me.
Mines great. It all matters who you get it from. Buying from random people on internet is going to get you garbage.
Hey! I’m looking for a retro handheld. I need one that can run up to and below Wii. Any options that aren’t crazy expensive?
Hello, where can I get a good instruction how to add a shutdown script? I have a 32GB SD Card and a hard drive with games and looking to install it into this case.
You'll need a keyboard and an internet connection: github.com/RetroFlag/retroflag-picase
I hope there's a US snes case, I prefer that design over the Japanese one
pi5 ver ,plz
Pls review powkiddy a20
Looks like you and ETA are synced up, two different products by the same manufacturer and each video release within 9 minutes of each other.
I am curious I have a BPI M5 is it possible to use on retro flag case ?
I actually tried this today, it can't work without using other adapters
@@TakiUdon thanks for information.
Let's go raspberry
correction: it's a super famicom case for raspberry pi 4
Actually, that is how the SNES looked like in Europe, not just Japan.
@@thwe0016 wtf
@@johncraftenworth7847 Nice comeback!

i wonder how well that aethersx2 emulator works on raspberry pi 4 with android
Awfully, since there isn't a good way to get android running on it, and it can't even do gamecube

Depends if its exynos or not. Citra development has stalled so hardware will only get you do far but its all playable in my experience
Where is the link to the roms?
Trás o ps vita! É um incrível console portátil!
Would this be more or less powerful than Nvidia Shield TV Pro?
You should probably ask elsewhere, not in a case review video lol
Nvidia shield is way more powerful than a pi 4. The shield can even play some Wii and GameCube games at full speed.
Do you not know the super famicom?...
