I spray painted my rims with DUPLI-COLOR!!! (High Performance Gloss Black)

I painted my own rims on my 2015 Toyota Camry XSE. I applied 6 coats in Gloss Black & 2 coats of Clear Protective Coat. I chose to just remove my tires off my car. I find it easier to paint them that way, but you can also paint them with the tires on the car just have to cover your car and break pads really well. Thanks for watching! More coats on, the easier the peel off process would be when you have to remove the wrap.

Jason Ross bought 5, 1 for each rim. Just an extra one just in case depending on the size rims, these are 18". And should be 6-8 Coats of paint on each rim

Did you sand it 1st and primer?before putting the gloss black?

No sanding, no primer coat. This is just a temporary mod, which you can remove over 6-9 months, it peels right iff

@@Tat2Chris What do you mean "it peels right off"? That's paint, not removable wrap, thus you don't need those many coats. 3-4 coats of paint are more than enough.

Ricardo Torres it's a spray wrap... you spray it on like a paint can... let it dry up. And you can peel it off like a "Wrap"... paint your rims.. it's suggest to only keep this wrap paint on for about 6-8 months and peel it off and paint them again if you want

Buddy, that can that you showed in the beginning of the video is not a removable wrap paint. I have bought the Dupli gloss black removable paint in a can and its a substitute for plastidipp. Peels right off but the can you showed is a gloss black rim coating. I have both kinds of dupli paint in a can, the one you have and the one that is peelable.

How did u removed the emblem on tire cap

J Sierra the emblem on the rims are just being hold in place by "Plastic Clips" I use a plastic pry tool. To pop them out. But be careful, make sure you don't break those plastic clips on the emblem cap. You can find those "Plastic Pry Tools" at any auto store. (Auto Zone, Pep Boys, etc)
