The epoxy Primer took 1 can, for coverage enough for paint to stick. Theb thr Dupli color graphite greu, right between 1-2 cans. So at $8 a can, best to have 2. Some people do the inside of the wheel (overkill for me, will just get dirty in there) but that will take 1 can per wheel.
I know it's been a while since you made this, but I'm doing mine this weekend. Could you tell how long you waited between the primer and the base coat, and then the base coat and the clear? Thanks!

Held up great. Of course curb dogging it will do damage to any finish, and have the tire shop be careful when romoving and mounting tires.
Do you clear coat them?
yes
What's different between epoxy primer and Etch primer on chrome wheels?
So like after putting primer on are u supposed to let it dry before u paint
yes, let it dry, cure then apply paint. Preferably 24 hours.
What you think about the escalade 22?
Is there any issue using traditional wheel cleaner after they are fully cured?
Which sandpaper grade did you use ?
Jack's? 340, 600, 1000, 2000
Progressively higher to smooth out.
You used 1000 and 2000 grit sandpaper before you painted the rims? Why?

you need to wait 24 hours from the primer Epoxy, after that you can do multiple coats of your color, and the Clear coat on top soon after (1-2 hours)
