I met Alex and Hudson just over a year ago and posted a short, and while I have not seen them since, this is a more extended version showing more of what happened and the time we shared that day.
Awesome Nate the guys who want and need help. I get the feeling when the one guy with the wife working gets a job and there own place they will take his buddy in and the 3 of them will help each other.
That would be an awesome thing. I pray that it works out for them both.
That's a very nice idea, but when you're homeless, people come and go. You hang out with whoever seems like a decent enough person and pool resources, but in the end it's every man for himself, especially when there are children involved like in this situation
I hope that the younger man will help the older man get ahead though, if he's able to
Maybe maybe not. May not have the space, he’s got kids with his old lady. Kids require space and security. Probably stay friends and if he can help dude up he probably will.
Please keep us updated on these two guys start a go fund for them. They really need help and s place to stay.

Wow what a great outcome. I’m hoping that man’s blow up bed doesn’t give him problems, I’ve slept on one of those for a while and it kept deflating. I couldn’t imagine being in pain and sleeping on the ground. Great work Knate, we’ve got to look out for each other in these hard times.

It absolutely disgusts me how they treat us. Its not our fault we have fallen into hard times. Im grateful because I have family that are helping me, but so many others aren't as privileged as I am. Thank you so much for helping people. Just to know you actually matter is enough.

It's crazy how easily you can end up homeless in the US. Wouldn't happen like that where I live, there are a lot of safety nets
Sounds like our country could take a tip from yours. Most folks are one paycheck away from homeless.
Actually, when you look at the statistics it's not that bad in the US. I guess these people are very unfortunate not to have any family that is supporting them.

I just dont understand why people dont or wont help out others in need. I think its because rich people have never seen this side of life and dont understand or just dont care. I am here to tell you now that I was raised poor and I wouldnt have it any other way. It has taught me to be humble and to help a fallen brother out when they are in need. I thank God I am the way I am.. I just wish more people could be caring and help the less fortunate out. Nate, you are doing such a wonderful thing and I am proud and thankful for you!

I have always wanted to do something like you do but I don’t have a way to start.
Start the way he did. Uber Eats or whatever to earn a few extra bucks then use that to help people. But just like oxygen masks on an airplane, make sure you're secure first (and remember you have to pay taxes on what you earn).

I would never think they were homeless. A business owner homeless. At least they have access to a bathroom. Personally if they are paying for the salon, I would try to find a way to sleep there discreetly.

That’s awesome being a nail technician. Some Nursing homes also have a nail tech hairstylist/barber to do nails, wash & set hair & a shave and the family pays you too. Talk to HR ans see if you could come in 1-2 days a week, I’m sure you could make $100-200 a day.

Can police not give them temporary ID? In Ireland it's called an ML10 form , it's basically a piece of paper with your picture and information on it signed and stamped by the police and it's used as temporary identification so you can get a proper ID. Surely there has to be something similar in the USA? Or the principal of your primary/elementary or secondary school sometimes can also vouch on paper you are John Smith past pupil of this school from X to X year ,born in 1989 etc .
Then you go to get your public services card which scan your face and stores it on the system so even if you lose that card just pop into any welfare office and make an appointment with public service card people and they will scan your face and the computer will identify you .

So tuff being on the streets,here in Ireland there is very bad storms and the rain is coming down so hard it hurts when it hits you up the face, flooding tent's. Charitys and people try to help as much as possible but there's so many homeless the services are stretched.

Please donate with thanks. It’s astounding that people who are elected to congress are so rich and powerful. They could do much more to help people be productive rather than have to live on the street. I know from my own experience that it can happen so easily, by missing a few payments here and there and before you know it, your home has gone.

Why doesn't America help its own people? Why do you have to support a 3rd country (I mean Ukraine) You should support your own people, well if I can get to America and find a company that will support me to get a visa as a skilled worker then 4 years is enough for me to make a company and I would help those who are on the street with jobs first.
Europe is also handing out billions like little sweets to Ukraine. War costs so much money and nothing good is coming from it.

I often wander when you have finishd buying goods for the homeless people you say a hug or a handshake, aren't the people you helped just shy of giving you a hug because they may be smelly? Just asking, I dont want to hurt anyones feeling. 😢

It's good giving the homeless stuff but without a place to store belongings must be stressful to carry all that stuff around especially with all the thieving they have to deal with out there
They seem to have a ridiculous amount of stuff, given that during the day it's just the two of them and when the wife finishes work she's not going to want to have to deal with it. How can they possibly manage all that if the cops harass them and make them move?
