I had this "it never stops" moment recently and it made me seriously reconsider how i approach the hobby.

Nice haul. Serious question: will you ever finish everything you bought? Right now I have way too many bottles to drink in my lifetime. Is there an exit strategy?
I hear ya. I’m in the same boat. I decided to stop hunting for the rest of the year, maybe longer. I’m going to focus on store picks for things I know I like. That will likely limit my purchases to a bottle every 3 months or so. I’m really happy with what I have…going to enjoy my current selection with family and friends. Cheers!

I give some stuff away if i don't love it, I will finish something off and replace it. Three weeks ago i gave like 10 bottle away just to make room for things that I like better. Zach has a vault( not really) but a basement with plenty of room to collect and drink for a long time. If he ever moves and asks you to move you might want to be busy that day. LOL
Love watching these channels but I only buy 1 bottle at a time and it’s usually under 50 lol
Nice haul as usual! I had a nice January as well. I acquired the Peerless DO Rye, WT 12 Year, Little Book 7, 1792 FP store pick, Bookers Storyteller, Sagamore Rum Finish, Eagle Rare store pick, Milam and Green Rye Port Finish and a Hardins Creek Trio sample pack. Cheers!

I blinded EH Taylor barrel proof, Russel's 13 batch 5, discovery 11 and the Nashville barrel 6 year due to the NB hype. NB placed 4th but there wasn't much separation between #1 and #4.
I found three nice bottles in January. 1) ECBP C923 paid over retail. 2) Old Forester 1924 paid retail. 3) Jack Daniel’s 12 year batch 2 I definitely paid over retail, but I love J.D. yes, I enjoy the whiskey with family and friends, I do not collect.
I had a good month too; M10B, OF1924, 1792 Sweet Wheat and twelve year, SW Private Rye, Hirsch DO SiB, WT Kentucky Spirit CNF store pick, Augusta 8
In the last month & a half or so I picked up a Four Roses 135th LE, a Michters 10 year rye H barrel, an Old Forester 1924 & a Middlewest Spirits dark pumpernickel Rye.
In last 30 days; my haul: stagg 23b, Elmer T Lee, blantons, larceny c923, crown blackberry (haha ik), EHT barrell proof, Lil Book 7, and drum roll George T stagg. All at msrp except for the George T (had to pay for that one😳. Still looking for Old forester 1924 and Mitcher 10. Both almost impossible to find in my area
I have not purchased a single bottle since the beginning of the year trying to build my bourbon fund back up. Well I guess good things do come to those who wait because I have a trade lined up for this weekend. I will be giving a Elmer for a Weller fp sp. Then I am going to go bourbon hunting in bardstown ky. Then in a couple weeks my GF got me tickets to a EH Taylor even at BT where I will get a tour while drinking EH Taylor get food and then have the opportunity to purchase a bottle of EH Taylor single barrel!!! I am so excited for this weekend and the first weekend in march!!!!

I got a Penelope 15 yr Light American Whiskey, a Magnus Cigar Blend, Weller 12 and a Larceny C923 in January. It was a slow month. I did much better trading. I traded for a hazmat Coy Hill, Rock Hill, Heaven Hill Select Stock 14 yr 135.8 proof and a 2023 M10B.
if you need zbiotics your either drinking too much or drinking too little. You need to find that sweet spot and all is well.

This month, I got the new JD12 and JD10. Spoiler alert, the JD12 is not nearly as good as last year’s. Just less complexity and less punch.
The JD10 batch 3 is the most Jack Danielsy release yet and may be the best, though last year’s was quite good, just very different. If you like Banana Runts, JD10 B3 will be your thing.

Do the Double Oak Peerless review would be great for both picked up 8 yr Cooper & Cask Small Batch probably best whiskey I had this year.
Peerless Double Oak is good stuff. The Rye is better than the Bourbon. Caribou Crossing, wish I could find one. Really just want it for the bottle. Plenty of other great bottles you got too!

I just recently got a hold of a Four Roses LE 135 and was looking to trade it. In your opinion, since you love the bottle, what would be good bottles that I could get for this one? I don't really know it's value other than what I have seen on some secondary sites, so my idea of what I think it's worth might be too high.
Not totally sure on secondary values without looking but I'm guessing starting around M10 or EHTBP might be a good start?
