a current Model 3 owner here, I honestly don't care about Elon's reputation or his political opinion, and I don't care how other people look at Tesla, I got the car for myself not for others, and I won't care about how other people think, it's just not that important.
Elon is Netanyahu’s bitch. He fled South Africa because of apartheid but yet sucks on Netanyahu and the apartheid he’s put Palestine under for the last 75 years
My BIL told me "how can you support Elon with his insane statements and behavior" So I asked him how he felt about Fords CEOs political affiliation and comportment. Funny enough he didn't even know who it was or what his opinions were. Who gives a shit!? 😂
When you talk about maintenance, don't include money you spent for a rear-end collision, huge potholes and cracked windshields - that has nothing to do with which car you had when those happened. How much have you paid in maintenance for charges that are unique to the car - parts that needed repair or replacement, issues with manufacturing quality, etc. I got my Model 3 in Dec of 2019, I have 72,824 miles on it as of today and I have spent $0 on maintenance. It's the best car I've ever owned.
Classic lying Fanboy. You need to change cabin air filters. You need to clean your AC system because of the design flaw. You need to change your tires with alignment. You need to do maintenance on your brakes. After 4 years, Good idea to flash your brake fluid.
@@alexsmith6271 Ok, you got me on the cabin air filters; however, my AC is fine and I hardly ever touch my brakes with the regenerative braking. Brake fluid flush is probably a good idea. All in all, by far the cheapest car from a maintenance perspective that I've ever owned.
@@unplugandplay9318 it's cheapest and i have 22m3p. But you need to maintenance your brakes regardless if it's an ice car or ev. Especially if you don't use it, do it before it fails on you in critical moment. I did mines last winter and I drive hard.

Thanks for your honest review. I have a model 3 on order and yes Elon does say some things which make me feel uncomfortable, however, without Elon there would be no Tesla and the associated other EV brands battling it out, not to mention Spacex and Neuralink.
Great review! I have to say the only reasonable criticism of Musk you gave was his political statements which in turn make the products a political statement as well, which an individual may not want to involve themselves with. Every other reason was just straight up lie from mainstream media or just nonsense. Great review nonetheless.
Normally love your videos but sad to see online political posts that don’t affect the product to change your opinion so much. I prefer the less bias videos.
He's literally running the company? And Musk has overtly tied his political beliefs to his business practices. Ofc you'll make judgment calls about the future of the company based off his behavior. Plus, he cites the actions Musk has taken as the CEO of Tesla in the video. Any review that doesn't mention the actions of the company when speaking about future updates, service issues, or the potential for future charging stations, wouldn't be a review worth a damn.
9:26 Elon Musk is not a Tesla. I am fairly certain that all people whose opinions I care about are able to make this simple distinction and won't blame me in any way for Musk's erratic behavior, just because I drive a Tesla.
10:20 must not be familiar with the business world because all CEOs are like this my guy. To be a CEO means to not be a good person. He is just vocal on the twitters, but the other ones are old fashioned and keep their horrible behavior behind the scenes. Not justifying their behavior behvaior, but the higher up the corporate wheel someone is the worse the person is or becomes.
This is less about how "good" or "bad" of a person the CEO is and rather about whether he can make sound decisions for the company. Musk has shown himself to be impulsive and reckless, which doesn't build confidence in the company or its product. Other CEOs do fine without trying to be loudmouth celebrities or being addicted to social media.
@@goldie819 you would be surprised. Most CEOs today are running companies to the ground. Majority of CEOs are laying people off right now. Why? They failed and are not making budget. My company hired budget paying my CEO his six figure million bonus package and now we are getting laid off cause now were broke.
"It impacts how people view you driving a vehicle of that brand" Nah, for normal people it doesn't. You just outed yourself there. Can't believe you would think that is a normal thing to say.
I just got my first Model 3 with 100.000 km on it, or 62.000 miles. I drive a lot so i plan to have it 2 years and probably will sell it when its around 18.000 miles. Its a 2021 and it's an amazing Experience. I went from an Mercedes 2019 E-klass E400 which was a brutal machine in it's own, but after 6-8 weeks i can't see myself going back. The mercedes had loads of issues too which was disappointing considering the cost to buy and own and insure it. I will never buy an E-klass again if nothing extraordinary happens. With that said, quality wise it will be interesting to see if i still like my Tesla M3 in two years. I would guess i will if it dont keep breaking down. I hope the union blockade in Sweden against tesla stops soon, it's actually very stupid from the union side here, Tesla has'nt done anything wrong but they still get treated like shit here. I don't like the Swedish socialist union we have here, it's ancient and should be put down.
I zoned out after you brought up Elons political leanings. If you're basing what your purchases are based off the ceo's moral barometer is you may as well throw every thing you own out because 99 percent of other ceo's are the same way .
Blows my mind that he is holding the company hostage for $56B pay out. Verge - "Tesla CEO Elon Musk could leave if $56 billion pay package not approved, shareholders warned / ‘This is obviously not about the money,’ Tesla’s board chair writes - presumedly with a straight face." Blows my mind that he's doing that while actively weakening the company's FSD! WSJ - "Elon Musk Confirms Diverting Nvidia AI Chips Away From Tesla Musk’s AI plans have come under scrutiny after he threatened to take his ideas elsewhere if he isn’t given more ownership of the EV maker" I guess we will see next Thursday when shareholders vote! But would definitely recommend the Hyundai/Kia Corp for next EV. Very nice fit and finish and 800V charging. Switching to NACS in 2025 I think?
2020 Model 3 RWD owner here with a 160-mile commute to and back from the office. My real-world 100% range is approximately 190 vs the 231 stated on the screen when i first purchased it. Been on a few long road trips and the stops at the superchargers were perfect for this old man's blader and bad knees. I recommend the long-range or performance if you can afford it for the longer range and few stops for longer road trips.
I want to second most people’s comments to your video, Elon has greatly increased my confidence in Tesla and X as well as the corresponding stock. This says a lot more about you and your political biases, than Elon’s.
Your comment also says plenty about your political bias. And this is exactly the point! Buying a car should not have a political statement attached to it.
@@jsac3939 I have 0 political bias on this matter, his video is political in nature, he hates Elon because Elon cares about free speech and the Tweeter (X) purchase. Keyboard generation doesn’t like that, they attribute that to “toxic masculinity”. I don’t care who you or he votes for, vote for whoever you want, just don’t tell me about it.
My mom owns one I love to drive it but if you like to speed be prepared for speeding tickets please be safe and wear a seatbelt I’m just terrified of the fact that Elon may be able to control it while your in it that’s it maybe that’s a conspiracy I’m always skeptical but I may actually get one myself with my own money at 22 years old so that’s something too be proud of for me
Did you even watch the video? Tesla service is God awful in the last 3 cities I've lived in. Plus, he isn't criticizing the CEO; it's the fact that his impulsive and random decisions actively make our cars worse. The fact that this was your biggest takeaway from his review makes me think you’ve never owned a Tesla and that you’re just a Musk fanboy.
@alangwhiteTheBoss All of the reasons the youtuber said he disliked Elon was all related to his dodgy business decisions. literally nothing to do with US politics lmao
Nice video. I took delivery of my refreshed M3 LR in March 🎉🎉 first EV. I absolutely love this car. I love the tech and minimalism they are both fantastic. I love having no stalks. The car literally puts a smile on my face every time I get in it. It is ridiculously fast. I will only buy Tesla. I do agree with your point of view as you do bring up valid issues especially with the CEO. There is no doubt Elon is a genius but sometimes he really should just keep his mouth shut. Phoenix AZ
Aside from the cool software tech the main reason I am buying a Tesla is because of Elon Musk. I completely disagree with you. I appreciate him coming out with common sense, political viewpoints, and taking a stand. There are millions more like me who will now be buying his products the ones who don’t like it can get lost.
I agreed to everything you were saying until you started saying Elon was the problem with Tesla. What’s the difference with all these celebrities forcing their political views on us ? Elon was a democrat now he is a republican so what ?
I use Microsoft Windows, but don't like Bill Gates. I use Apple products, but didn't like Steve Jobs. I drive a Tesla, but don't like Elon Musk. Enjoy what you like, ignore the politics.
Then you shouldn’t be buying anything since most of the celebrities/ influencers / politicians made pro liberal statements that destroyed our country in some way.. way before trump / Elon came into the picture!! I’m not a republican but I’m must say you are dumb!! Not an idiot but Dumb!! I own a tesla! It’s a far superior product out there in the market for the price. Get one man.
Tesla has great future with or without Musk imo. And to me, Musk is simply more than just a CEO of his companies in mostly all the good ways. His top priority is the continued survival of humanity after all.
Just watching this video, I don't think electric cars are worth it. Battery dies fast, especially during winter. Charging takes lots of time. Expensive repairs. Software security issues. And one of the main appeals of Tesla, self-driving is just not good enough to be useful. If I can't relax in my car, why the heck would I buy it? A regular SUV, you only need gas and yearly maintenance, way less stress in my opinion.
There are other EVs out there with better build quality and companies that aren't going through tumultuous drama. Tune out the fanboys and examine all your options
How is their charge network? Can i buy direct? I can agree that you can get better build quality but the charging network, minimalist interior, and the ease of buying is what sold me on the tessie
Lol I live in the Raleigh area too and I’ve said the same exact thing about them having only one dealership and you can NEVER get a parking space, to add to that you can’t just park in the parking lot beside it where the sound system place is because they’ll tow you 😂

I'm getting a used long range AWD 2019 model that looks and seems to be absolutely perfect from a local dealership with 84k Km ( 52 k miles approximately)
fingers crossed I'm not making a mistake!
how's your experience so far?
@@genepatrickdelossantos8777so far so good! Loving every km I'm driving in this thing. My only problem right now is the access ramp to the garage which causes some scraping underneath the car... I'm getting the car in the garage very gingerly until the building administrators do something about it... They are taking their sweet time unfortunately
So stupid to drag Elon into review. Are you serious? U are talking about a car ffs
exactly
No one complains when companies make pro liberal statements lol
Exactly! Which almost every company does.
Wonder why
@@jessewush5803Same reason the term “far left” is never used in the media. Everyone in the media are leftist do-gooders who think they’re the norm.
probably because pro-liberal statements aren't usually accompanied with racism and hate against the working class. but you do you.
when people say "i don't give a fuck what people think! i don't care about other people!!".. it means they give hella fucks.. we all know it's all bullshit.
great review.
sales says otherwise
Or maybe you care & are in disbelief that others aren’t.
Man i had a 21 M3P and AP was ghost breaking like crazy.
Tesla CEO is awesome & Tesla is for winners.
My sisters Model 3 always has issues with the voice commands not working.
Get politics out of it Dude. I stopped watching when your opinions on Musk started.
North Carolina is it nice?
Yes it is
It’s can be quite boring but very beautiful!
It’s alright
No. Not unless you get one that is higher off the ground. The roads are not that good and you with mess you power steering a lot if you don't.
Musk fanboy is sad, waaah waaah. Cry more, baldy.
I bet he votes for kum-holla
I’d be rather perturbed by the amount they have access to you activity, who doesn’t like to break the rules and put their foot down 😇
Great review!!! I would be more tempted to look at a Tesla, if I felt it wasn’t making a political statement.
Wah wah wah, I'd buy another one, but I won't like it. 😂
Im watching this video cuz my father had bought one but at 6:40 i see a red gt86❤
U.S - you can buy a tesla at Costco.
9:26 Elon Musk is not a Tesla. I am fairly certain that all people whose opinions I care about are able to make this simple distinction and won't blame me in any way for Musk's erratic behavior, just because I drive a Tesla.
I agree in that it does make a political statement. No lie told there. All your points were great
directly on Tesla for say sucks, like any other dealer just sucks - a indy can be even more helpful then the dealer.
Are you the TPM Vids guy, your voice sounds identical.
The CEO makes me want to purchase a Tesla more than ever! I don’t give a crap what people think
Lol when I saw the picture of you the first thing that went through my mind was BETA 😂 lift some weights or something man lol
@@goldie819again typical CEO behavior. Just look at Steve Jobs
@@chidorirasenganzSteve did stuff based on innovation and investment, Elon does things based on ego
@@goatguythepowerful if you think steve didn’t have an ego, you didn’t know about him
This 15 minute video could have been done in under 5 minutes
Too much blabbing about nothing in particular
This was a terrific review!
"It impacts how people view you driving a vehicle of that brand" Nah, for normal people it doesn't. You just outed yourself there. Can't believe you would think that is a normal thing to say.
The best thing about Tesla is that it's CEO is Elon Musk !
Man you are saying EVs take less time in charging then combustion engine to fill up 😂
I zoned out after you brought up Elons political leanings. If you're basing what your purchases are based off the ceo's moral barometer is you may as well throw every thing you own out because 99 percent of other ceo's are the same way .
Blows my mind that he is holding the company hostage for $56B pay out.
Verge - "Tesla CEO Elon Musk could leave if $56 billion pay package not approved, shareholders warned / ‘This is obviously not about the money,’ Tesla’s board chair writes - presumedly with a straight face."
Blows my mind that he's doing that while actively weakening the company's FSD!
WSJ - "Elon Musk Confirms Diverting Nvidia AI Chips Away From Tesla
Musk’s AI plans have come under scrutiny after he threatened to take his ideas elsewhere if he isn’t given more ownership of the EV maker"
I guess we will see next Thursday when shareholders vote!
But would definitely recommend the Hyundai/Kia Corp for next EV. Very nice fit and finish and 800V charging. Switching to NACS in 2025 I think?
You havnt driven 50k in 6 years?
Very informative video. Probably has confirmed my view that I will get a Tesla Model 3.
Bought a Tesla because Elon supports Trump LOL
I want to second most people’s comments to your video, Elon has greatly increased my confidence in Tesla and X as well as the corresponding stock. This says a lot more about you and your political biases, than Elon’s.
since when is being an asshole is a political statement
Your comment also says plenty about your political bias. And this is exactly the point! Buying a car should not have a political statement attached to it.
@@jsac3939 I have 0 political bias on this matter, his video is political in nature, he hates Elon because Elon cares about free speech and the Tweeter (X) purchase. Keyboard generation doesn’t like that, they attribute that to “toxic masculinity”. I don’t care who you or he votes for, vote for whoever you want, just don’t tell me about it.
My mom owns one I love to drive it but if you like to speed be prepared for speeding tickets please be safe and wear a seatbelt I’m just terrified of the fact that Elon may be able to control it while your in it that’s it maybe that’s a conspiracy I’m always skeptical but I may actually get one myself with my own money at 22 years old so that’s something too be proud of for me
No OIL Change ~~!!! Best EVER ~~~
i have model y!
Imagine your biggest downside is criticising the CEO, lmao.
It's very valid reason. He was %100 right about everything he said.
Yea this dude must like biden
@@NakedButAnonymouscite ur sources
@alangwhiteTheBoss All of the reasons the youtuber said he disliked Elon was all related to his dodgy business decisions. literally nothing to do with US politics lmao
Lol so in a sense you can't buy a Mercedes BMW Volkswagen Honda etc because of whats their involvement in ww2
Good one to viw❤❤
Phoenix AZ
I doubt that I will ever utter the phrase "I love having no stalks." That is one of the biggest downsides in my mind: Lack of physical controls.
@@smileychess no stalks means you keep your hands on the wheel 😉
U said Elon is genius? LMAO! Polestar and other European EVs replace Tesla perfectly. Stay away from everything owned by Musk.
Aside from the cool software tech the main reason I am buying a Tesla is because of Elon Musk. I completely disagree with you. I appreciate him coming out with common sense, political viewpoints, and taking a stand. There are millions more like me who will now be buying his products the ones who don’t like it can get lost.
Sounds like you are in a good position to do a model 3 highland review including latest FSD.
Elon is why I bought a Tesla 😅
💪
I agreed to everything you were saying until you started saying Elon was the problem with Tesla. What’s the difference with all these celebrities forcing their political views on us ? Elon was a democrat now he is a republican so what ?
I only care about the dog mode.
I use Microsoft Windows, but don't like Bill Gates.
I use Apple products, but didn't like Steve Jobs.
I drive a Tesla, but don't like Elon Musk.
Enjoy what you like, ignore the politics.
Couldn’t agree more about Musk. At the moment he’s the only thing stopping me from getting a Tesla.
If you hate Tesla, you never drove one .
If you did you would be blown away with the car .
It’s like driving the future
Knew this guy was a loser when he called road side for a flat
Every political statement musk did made me want a tesla even more xD no dought
Just watching this video, I don't think electric cars are worth it. Battery dies fast, especially during winter. Charging takes lots of time. Expensive repairs. Software security issues. And one of the main appeals of Tesla, self-driving is just not good enough to be useful. If I can't relax in my car, why the heck would I buy it? A regular SUV, you only need gas and yearly maintenance, way less stress in my opinion.
The garbage of 'EV sales are falling' is a LIE sponsored by GM/et al. BTW this writer owns a 2020 Model 03
Elon is the worst thing about Tesla
hahaha a democrat with political views for a car :))))))
Oh man, the auto wipers.. don't get me started. Same page, same page...
Just get the SexY buttons, it will fix it
I want to buy one because I love Elon! MAGA!
Thank you for the car review.
So agree about Mr. Musk.
How did this go from car review to liberal ranting
Lol I live in the Raleigh area too and I’ve said the same exact thing about them having only one dealership and you can NEVER get a parking space, to add to that you can’t just park in the parking lot beside it where the sound system place is because they’ll tow you 😂
