I love the matamp green. I had an orange ad-200b that was close to it. But tbh I sold it and settled on an orange OB1 and I love it. Still something about that damn matamp tho.
@@wetburgers4023 i know this is an old comment, but guitar pedals can take a bass signal and wont be damaged, they might just not keep those low end frequencies as well. The concern about damage really is for the cabinet, and a lot of guitar cabinets can't handle bass frequencies, and can cause damage to the speaker.
nice video mate...i can afford an orange ob1 500 which i think can doom well and has a great sound...but green is omg fantastic sound....whats your opinion on ob1-500?
thank you man, sad that I dont own this gt120 its not mine. I would go for ob1-500 - cool stuff, realiable as its not tube amp and it can doom as I heard in demos
Using this amp for bass won't damage the amp, will it? I will be getting one in the coming weeks and would love to try it with bass as well. Haven't used a guitar amp for bass before but it seems like it could handle it.
Remember you can always plug in a guitar into ANY bass amp, but can't always plug a bass into a guitar amp. 2 times we found this out the hard way. 2 different Marshall's bit the dust. So beware. A bass into a guitar amp works most of the time, but destruction can occur. Just saying. Peace from da Vegas desert.Nick Guarini.
and that sound is why I became a bassist
me too
SAME
I could sit down and pass away entire afternoons playing this same bass riff. Nice!
Pinky wants to join too :'(
The whole right hand is a bit of a disaster here.

Love Matamp greens so so much. You're so lucky to own one.
I could be lucky but I`m not, I don`t own it, a friend of mine gave it to me :B
Oh come on they're only 3 grand for the head
@@squeebbb Haha, nah a proper British Matamp Green is about £1,500. I've owned one now for years, bought it off Jon from Conan, was so so happy!
@@foofy14 they’re something like 1,280 GBP brand spanking new actually. Just got mine a few days ago. Lovely bastard.
@@shealeffler6147 Yeah, I managed to buy one off Jon from Conan in '17, was so blessed to buy my dream amp from my favourite doom band
dragonaut is my jam, such nasty fuzz
cheers, dude ;)
sounds like "money"
its dragonaut
Dragonaut intro leans heavily on "Money".

Needs a Ricky.
Needs lessons first.
I would love hear this setup play Lemmy's Lord of Light from Hawkwind.
I love Green amps but they are so expensive the cheap one is over $1000
Dragonaut42 Yeah but handbuilt
Also cheaper than a lot of oranges and other brands as well.
you’ll come to find very few good amps are cheaper than $1000 and orange/mata are typically worth every penny

He was so high that he forgot about the rest of the song. It happens
DUDE WHERE IS THE SONG?
One of the best bass tones I've heard! What are the settings on the HM-2?
Thank you dude, everything is maxed , except high control , it is on 2 o'clock
Alex T thanks man keep up the great work
I want to give it a like but it's at 420, so no way I'm pressing that button.
Great!
great cover! i have a question tho, since the hm-2 is designed to be a guitar pedal, does it get damaged if it is used with a bass?
No damage its ok
@@AlexT8 thanks, good to know, cause i want to try this

d standard
The song is saposed to be in C Standard but like he said, he's playing in D Standard
this is barely dragonaut, the beginning isnt correct and the ending is idek.
Hi, do you have a clean version on youtube? Thank you
Irwine Rodrigues you don't play sleep clean
Irwine Rodrigues sorry to say Irwine but matamps aren't meant for clean tones, they are made to be driven to the max
