platforming, action, environmentally good looking, having a story, being a video game etc. etc.
@jonnymagal Ah yeah the original I have to import from the UK which might take a while, but it's definitely on a priority list of weird games I need to play. American McGee is sort of a strange guy after all.

@mynameissreejith In full amount? Probably not. Assassin's Creed 2 has a little more going for it, like the actual combat. Leaping from a rooftop and stabbing someone is hard to beat!

@jonnymagal American Macgee's Alice was the 2000 one. The new one is called Alice madness returns.
The first one is a CLASSIC. Its scary, beautiful and violent at the same time. Check it out, you can get it free by getting Alice Madness (the new one). You really need to check it out its up there in the 20 best PC games

As the "Mirror's egde proof of concept" video shows, it was meant to be a shooter. Shooting with 360 and ps3 controllers is probably the only reason Faith can use slowmotion from time to time as well as the 180° turn button. Not to mention, most of the cops stop following Faith after she is out of sight, meaning they were probably meant to die. For all these reasons (and more) the only thing i disagree is the adrenaline fueled gameplay point. ME was pretty boring to me and not fully developed.
Hmm, I don't know. They have similarities, for sure... but I wouldn't exactly say this game is comparable to Assassin's Creed 2, Prince of Persia, or Uncharted 2.
@TheOrangePanda Highly agree with you dude but an opinion it's an opinion nevertheless, though why wouldn't anybody be awe struck with the Shard Puzzle Theme it's beyond me, i even have that song as my ring tone. XD
I actually thought about buying this game today.
Well, if you play the entire game without shooting anyone (like I did), it lasts significantly longer than 3 or 4 hours.

How is Mirror's Edge remotely similar to Uncharted 2?
I think the game was trash. Playing it induced a vertigo that induced desire to puke. "Derp vision" obliterated the level design as it felt linear and like I was being guided to jump, not a real parcour. The story was boring. The government is evil and the city is too clean! Duur. IT was horibly horrible game that is somehow getting a second installment.
Did you really come here JUST to hate on the game?
