    Just found your channel and I'm really interested in that pressurized oil feed/filter system. Excellent bit of engineering! Can't wait to see more on this!

    As soon as you mentioned the crankcase breather, made me think of all the small engines I have ever worked on and non have pcv valaves. Great idea. But you need an inlet and an outlet on the crankcase. That way there is flow threw the case and not just vacuum.
    But cooling the valave cover to the crankcase by a tube are that same air. Am I wrong? The valave cover has pushrods inside it open to the crankcase. So that air is one and the same.....

      Hi, I later added another tube from the crankcase to the head cover. It's sort of the same air like you said but the pressure build up within the crankcase is always very high, so extra tubes will help alleviate the pressure much better. In practice, you are looking at much quicker engine response and acceleration.

    Use a spring on ur pilot shaft,shafts, want,cut ,or put too much pressure, while cutting ur seats,much smoother cut also,get some tools to work with,but I guess your on a budget,Huh,thought so!!!!

    Nice. Is that a Lo206? I’ve never seen that oil filter on a small engine like that. Does it have an oil pump now?

    • @JSRacing-Kartsmith
      @JSRacing-Kartsmith  7 місяців тому

      That’s right, it’s actually a 3 piece package. The case cover has a dedicated engine oil feed that goes through the crankshaft and directly lubricates the area where the connecting rod attaches to. The connecting rod is also reinforced and has bearings on it too.
      We will be making billet versions of this in the near future.

    Vent crank case to ur catch can,not valve cover,electric break-in stand works way better,for seating in your engine,only on short block assembly!!!!,leave head off!!!!

    You are cutting your valve seats incorrect if you would like to know how to do this the correct way I would tell ya just let me know I am a engine builder build 196cc and Briggs animal motors quite often you should really look into the Ne-way cutters if you are going to do this a lot does a way nicer of a job

    • @JSRacing-Kartsmith
      @JSRacing-Kartsmith  4 місяці тому

      I really wanted source the neway cutters but I couldn’t get them here at all. Could only settle for the blades I used in the video. With regards to how I did the valve seats, can you point out where I could improve?

    • @stevesmith4646
      @stevesmith4646 4 місяці тому

      @@JSRacing-Kartsmith only thing I would do differently is when cutting seats start with 45 like you did and use the coloring I use just a black sharpie marker to see my cut then switch to 60 use color again the do your 30 but do not use color this time so then you will be able to see your 45 angle being the left over color….. I usually make about 3-4 cycles through all cutters 45-60-30-45-60-30 with just barely cutting a 30 angle and cutting the 60 angle deep so I can move my lap line up on my valve face with it being fairly thin line/45 angle on intake side exhaust side oh and also when cutting you always want to finish with 45 very lite tho… so 45/60/30 then lite 45 one rotation like .5 lbs of pressure
