This is perfect timing for me! I'm back in the office soon and looking for a tinted moisturiser with SPF. I've hardly worn makeup at all for over a year and I think foundation looks and feels strange on me now, and I'm wanting a minimal morning routine ☺️
I've tried many tinted moisturizers, some were samples and some I bought as minis but it was enough to assess whether I liked them or not. The ones I alternate between right now are the Wet n wild tinted hydrator, Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer and the IT cosmetics CC cream. I will say the Wet n Wild tinted moisturizer is just as good as any of the high end I've tried and it's 5 dollars I believe. Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer is one of the lightest in coverage but it does a decent job at evening out the skin. And for anyone looking to even out their skin in the quickest way, just apply a very small amount of IT cosmetics CC cream with your fingers and spread it well. That is all you need and it will last you a long time because of the amount used. If you use too much it will show up like a full coverage foundation and that is not what I like. When I first tried the IT CC cream I did not like it until I learned how to use it. Applied with your fingers and spread almost like you would a cream, gives the most natural skin look. I would recommend to never use a brush with this CC cream, as it is very full coverage and a brush will emphasize that.
My favourite is CC CREAM by CHANEL. I am 49 years young and this works perfectly for me. I do have good skin so this really makes my skin appear more radiant & healthy. It's light enough that doesn't go in my fine line (avoid more-pronounced lines and crevices)It has the perfect combo, skincare benefits with SPF 50. My skin-care staple!! 😍💋
IT Cc cream, Dr. Jart, Nars sheer radiance, Bare Minerals, CE. There are a few more but I can’t remember all of them. IT and Dr. Jart are really really close and excellant
The lancome skin feels good is my absolute favorite! So easy to put on, great skin care benefits, and has great color range for all my different tones during summer!
I agree. Since i jumped on the bandwagon and ordered a big tube, i now mix it up with a moisturizer to make it work.... Just so it actually gets used. 😔
I love love love the bareMinerals complexion rescue! It’s so beautiful on the skin gives close to sheer, minimal coverage which is what I love! For me it’s all about your skin but better, nothing against make up at all but personally I l love to focus on skincare and let my glow shine through with more sheer/minimal coverage! Going to look more into the CC cream!
I just bought the (fairly) new tinted hydrator from Wet n Wild and let me tell you- IT’S AMAZING! So stunning on the skin, natural, not oily but does give a slight natural luminosity, AND IT HAS HYALURONIC ACID AND SQUALANE IN IT! I’m wearing it now and it literally feels like nothing is on my skin. The only thing is that the shade range sucks. But other than that I absolutely love it, and it’s only $5!
I love Lancôme Skin Feels Good and Eborian BB Creme although the later has a terrible shade range. I also love to mix my tinted moisturizers, BB, and CC creams to get customized coverage and shades.
I also love the IT cosmetics CC cream! My skin used to be a little oilier and I switched from the original formula to the matte oil-free formula, which I don’t think has as many shades but I think is much better for oily skin :)
Thank you for introducing Shisedo WASO color-smart day moisturizer to me. I live in Thailand, so I can only buy another version. However, I love it from first try. It’s amazing. It matched my skin complexion. Thank you. Oh I’m very glad I found your Channel.
I love my IT CC Cream but it always looks so orange on me as someone thats very pale. Maybe putting actual sunscreen underneath will make it a little less so. Definitely going to be adding a drop or two of oil to make it spread easier. Im 27 and have been using this for 3 or 4 years now, and Ive loved it. But recently its such a turn off when I noticed how dark it is. For sure going to be trying out the Bare Minerals though when I want lighter coverage and a better color match.
It Cosmetics is the best! It is gives better coverage than my usual foundation with a healthy glow! I have been using this more often lately than anything else.
The LaMer radiant skin tint spf 30 is the absolute BEST tinted moisturizer I HAVE EVER USED... the MOST Skin-like finish and omg the shade fair is actually fair enough for me with balanced undertones, I also love pairing it with my favorite concealers ( right now it’s Dior forever skin correct as it’s spring/summer in the winter/fall I’ll go for something like my NARS radiant creamy ) then setting the face with the new LaMer soft moisture powder spf 30 and their loose powder for under-eye&t-zone it’s the quickest most beautiful combination‼️🤯🤩👩🏼🍳‘s kiss 💋😘👌💯💕 I know.... the products are EXPENSIVE AF 🤑 but omg 😳 if you want the most skin like finish with sun protection (light medium coverage- your skin but better situation) look no further well worth the splurge IMO I used to be a diehard loyal fan of the ITCOSMETICS cc creams and still have and use then on occasion... they are more of a fuller coverage right out the gate than my previous recommendation but the IT tinted moisturizer has a higher spf rating than the LaMer, the ITCosmetics CC is also a little bit too yellow I usually have to mix a tiny bit of a cool toned foundation in for a good shade match, plus the IT looks a little more like makeup & the LaMer just looks more REAL LIKE YOUR SKIN just radiant and PERFECTED‼️ Whichever one ☝️ you choose is amazing 🤩 and the spf is an added bonus especially being in the spring and summer months I love them both‼️💯💕
Enjoy it while it lasts because for some reason they reformulated the Laura Mercier. Now it doesnt have spf and is so much harder ti blend. The new formuka sucks!
I always look for pink/peach undertones in light foundations&tinted moisturizers, and LauraM Cameo is nice ! but its very light! Which brand do you recommend for more coverage than LM??
I am oily combo and the nars tinted moisturizer has been my holy grail for almost a decade!! Everytime I try to branch out I regret it and come back to nars. I even tried the IT cc cream and like you said, it doesn't work for oily skin
Enjoyed your very informative video! I have used IT Cosmetics CC cream for many years and love it! I also enjoy UD Hydromaniac tinted moisturizer. In fact just applied it! I am thinking of ordering the Nars. Thanks for a very informative video!
The ELF CC cream one is THE BEST. It's a dupe for the IT cosmetics one. Don't waste your money. I have recommended it to everyone and they're obsessed.
Thats a "Skin Tint" which is a different category than Tinted Moisturizers. I left a comment asking for a Skin Tint video... there are so many now... Fenty, Glossier, Kosas, Morohe, Clinique, Dior.. I even saw the new Millani skin tint at the drug store. I just got the Ilia Skin Tint at Sephora VIB sale. How do you apply it??
I kept hoping you were going to mention the It cosmetic one (for approval 😅) I have been using the It Cosmetics CC cream for years, and it is the only that has worked for my tan complexion. I absolutely love it! I agree, it is full coverage but because I am on the oily skin type, I don’t like applying a lot or make sure I set it with a setting powder. Otherwise, it is amazing!
I recently started using the Eucerin Photoaging Control CC Tinted Sun Creme SPF50 and it has a great coverage. I used to use the Clinique City Block SPF40 but Eucerin has better coverage and ingredients.
The host doesn’t need a drop of tinted anything and certainly foundation! I watched this because I want a moisturizer or spf with barely any tint to it. My skin recently has become splotchy from the sun with a light spf lotion, I hate foundations and won’t wear them but I’m super sensitive to spf’s also and don’t mind a slight tint to help block the sun some or mildly hide my discoloration on bad days but the only two that seemed light enough on here are the shisiedo and bare minerals moisturizers. The cc looked super heavy, no different really from foundation.
Which product is suitable for oily skin ? It’s seems like almost all tinted moisturizers are hydrating and leave a glowy look which is a no no for oily skin ….any recommendations?
Hey Susan! I really love tinted moisturizers! The IT Cosmetics CC cream is great as well as the NARS tinted moisturizer. I think my favorite is the Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizer. Have you tried that one?
Trinny London BFF cream skin perfector is amazing - goes on white & blends to your skin color. Comes in a variety of shades & they have a great website to help color match.
Very interesting video, thank you. If I purchased the IT one, would I have to wear additional sunscreen with it seeing as it has SPF 50? I have melasma and hyperpigmentation. If I have to wear sunscreen in addition, do I put on the IT one first and then sunscreen or the other way around?

Fantastic review - thanks you! 🤗🌹 the one thing I must say form my experience is that IT Cosmetics CC ream is extreemly pro-acne for me. I have rather dry and clear skin, and not very prone to acne. Have been used a zyllion of foundations and CC creams, form La Mer, Dior, Bobbi Brown, Landome, to Revlon, or Maybelline… never anything had such an effect on my skin, like this CC cream (which indeed makes skin look fabulous) 🙄🙈 i had loved it, but had to thoew it away 🥺
The bare minerals complexion rescue is my favorite for summer. The lightest shade is a bit too dark for me in spring/winter, unfortunately. I’m still looking for a very fair shade.
I’m the same. It’s my absolute favorite but opal gets a little too dark pink. A Sephora employee had me try the shade vanilla and it’s a much better fit. Wish they had a lighter shade but you might try that shade.
We also use a lot of snail products in Mexico , I remember a cream my mom had my sister use to help her with her acne called Baba De Caracol for her acne .
I’d love to see you review more Paula’s Choice. It surprises me that I seldom see a PC review on here. They have some great tinted moisturizers with SPF, to just name a few. Anyway, thank you for a great video, a great channel!
One thing that is confusing for me, and I’m a medical esthetician, is Spf only last 80 min and it oxidizes. Same with vit c…it oxidizes quickly. By the time you get your makeup on and to where you’re going, it’s time to add more spf. I personally am not a fan of adding more product to my just made up face for the day. To me, and this is only my opinion, spf in makeup is a waist of time and money. If I’m working outside in the yard, I’ll use SkinCeuticals Tinted Spf 50. And after 80 min I go inside and rinse off the first application and apply again. If I don’t and I just pile it on top of the first application, I’m going to have a few white heads the next morning. I do use and have pretty much all of the ones she’s mentioned, but reapplication every 80 min is something that I don’t think most people are going to do! I’d love for someone to clear up the reasoning for putting spf in makeup if it has to be reapplied every 80 min due to oxidation. So far, I’ve not found a good explanation except for sales/marketing.
Is the IT cosmetic cc cream a mineral based SPF? I'm allergic to chemical based SPF. I'd obviously love to have the protection but not at the risk of hives. Otherwise, I'll probably have to try the urban decay since that's thr only non SPF in the video. Enjoyed the video though! I've been wanting to try something like this since I want some coverage but not have the cakeiness of a foundation. 😄
Hi I love the studio makeup tinted moisturizer it’s pretty on the skin and looks healthy. I am 41years old and fighting malasma so you can see your spots but it just gives this natural look. I also wear Cerave tinted sunscreen. Thank you for this video but wanted to try something new.
I'm 48, have never worn sunscreen on my face...only makeup (foundation, powder, blush, etc). My face is very white even though I live in Los Angeles and work outside. I honestly think facial sunscreen is unnecessary for most people unless you burn easily, which I don't. I have beautiful skin and people constantly say "tell me your skincare routine"...and it never involves sunscreen on my face. I don't put it on my body either and there is definitely sun damage on my arms/hands...but I don't wear makeup on my body. Bottom line: most makeup is very protective against the sun.
I use Jane Iredale Glow Time BB Cream. I would love to know what your feelings are on that one. I’m dry so I like dewy and moisturizing BB creams or Tinted moisturizers. Thanks for all the recommendations!!
Hey Susan, Do you a tinted sunscreen before using a tinted moisturizer? Or you will use a white/clear sunscreen instead? I wonder if the tinted sunscreen will mess with the color of the tinted moisturizer? I wear the BM one and I love it but been wanted to try the ELTA MD tinted moisturizer, just dont know if they will be the same thing? Thank youuuu, love you channel hope you’ll see this message
I couldn’t find waso in my local beauty shop ( i live in a small town in Spain), I only found the bare minerals moisturizer and is the best thing. I have acne prone mixed skin, and works great for me.
I started using the Waso per your recommendation a while ago and really like it. I also ❤️ the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer and the Ilia super serum skin tint. These all hold up pretty good and I really put them to the test. I’m outside on a horse almost everyday.
My skin has been severely dehydrated for so long and I have tried soooo many different skincare products and routines. Nothing seems to work. I just recently began to suspect the problem is my bare minerals powder foundation. Zinc oxide is a known drying agent-it’s often used to treat diaper rash. I just switched to a BB cream and I really hope that will solve the problem.

I use Marcelle tinted moisturizer, it’s spf 30 and I have skin that gets irritated fast so it’s also hypoallergenic
Fantastic review - thanks you! 🤗🌹
the one thing I must say form my experience is that IT Cosmetics CC ream is extreemly pro-acne for me.
Thanks for the video. What brush are u using please?
The bare minerals complexion rescue is my favorite for summer. The lightest shade is a bit too dark for me in spring/winter, unfortunately. I’m still looking for a very fair shade.
I think you should try Becca’s Tinted moisturizer! It’s amazing
Wow- literal translation of snail 🐌 mucous!! 👍🏻
I’d love to see you review more Paula’s Choice. It surprises me that I seldom see a PC review on here. They have some great tinted moisturizers with SPF, to just name a few.
Anyway, thank you for a great video, a great channel!
I think it’s because they’re known to be good skin care. PC is not a new brand so I think they like to focus on what’s new and trendy .
@@laurajoshi6474 Yep. Prolly partly why, but PC releases new products all the time nonetheless.
Hi !! Been watching and following on all your beauty advises. Which do you apply first, the tinted moisturizer or the tinted sunscreen?
The IT CC cream comes in a matte finish too. I use it and love it!
My fav tinted moisturizer is from Biotherm, called aquasource. I also use one from Clinique called city superblock with spf 40.
Would Love a Video on This Video’s Makeup Look -It’s Gorgeous, Very put together.
What color Nars tinted moisturizer do you wear? Thanks! :)
Thank you for the very good info. Question, how do you know when to use a brush to apply, a sponge, or just your fingers?
I like this video but also your brows. I want to get mines done like yours.
Have you tried the Erborian CC Cream? I love it and always get compliments when using it!
Me too.
It wasn't till this video that I realized your daughter looks so much like you.
I just bought my first tinted moisturizer! I love it. Can I say, your makeup in this video is perfection!!
Just bought the one from Bare Essentials. I absolutely love it! Thank you for the reviews! ❤️
You should review colorscience flex sunscreen it’s legit god sent! SPF and a lot of coverage!
What about ILIA serum oil foundation and Kosas oil foundation.
This is such a helpful video- thank you. I do use IT CC but would like to try the Nars too. Which shade do you use please?
Hey Susan,
Do you a tinted sunscreen before using a tinted moisturizer? Or you will use a white/clear sunscreen instead? I wonder if the tinted sunscreen will mess with the color of the tinted moisturizer?
I wear the BM one and I love it but been wanted to try the ELTA MD tinted moisturizer, just dont know if they will be the same thing? Thank youuuu, love you channel hope you’ll see this message
Have you tried Origins tint ? … orange tube comes in one color. Beautiful glow finish with spf.
My absolute favorite
I got the Waso 2019-2020 after Suasan recommended, I’m already on my 3rd bottle. I LOVE it, the feel, the smell now I have to try the BM one
