Fr I remember seeing a bunch of people say "as a brit this is a crime" and I remember thinking "girl as an american I know that we dunk the teabags at least four times, even when we dumped that shit in the harbor we let it steep"
I totally get Ana being a virgin, but saying she’s never been drunk and also drinks her tea with only one dip of the tea bag? Like, girlie, are you a pilgrim?
@Ma-nm2fl mormonism is a religion, it's kinda restrictive : no sex before marriage, no alcohol nor coffee or tobacco, and some other stuff like you must give some of your income to your church and dress in a certain way. I feel like they keep to themselves a lot (no hate on anyone who is into this stuff, very much not my thing though lol)
Ana is a very In-Character fanfiction portrayal of Bella Swan, while Christian is so upsettingly out of character for Edward that it makes me want to eat my own face. We all read and saw how he fucked her the one (1) time (only after they married, as that was his condition), and refused to do so again because she had bruises, so Edward would very much NOT be into BDSM in any way shape or form. Edward would also not hear that Bella was a virgin and immediately go "I'm going to fix that". If I was to read Master of the Universe as a Twilight fan reading a Twilight fanfiction, I would DNF it because Edward is so upsettingly out of character. The controlling, possessive, abusive parts of Christian are pretty in-character for Edward, but everything sexual that happens in these novels is so out of character for Bella and Edward. Bella was ready to die by dick in the source material and Edward was going to literally off himself for a couple of bruises. If someone were to rewrite Fifty Shades of Grey with Ana as the sexually driven one, THAT would be more in character. Sex-wise, the characters should be reversed, but otherwise, their personalities are on-point.
@@loganator5001 Honestly yeah, the idea of a young virginal college student dragging a dominate somewhat emotionally abusive billionaire into an S&M lifestyle through sheer force of will, is actually really cute.
By the way… Christian calls it a submissive but he would have so less trouble if he used the actual word he wants: a slave. In BDSM there are submissives and there are slaves. He wants a slave.
he got no damned clue what he wants, has done less research into bdsm then a mostly sex repulsed aroace woman not into that kink . . . these books are an absolut insult and misrepresentation of the community!!!
@@jules-sf5us yeah, it follows a trend of things people create that are ridiculed in dominant culture (think black art, queer art, bdsm... etc.) and over time dominant culture starts to see that those things as being able to make money, but they still carry the shame/elitist attitudes that makes them still hate the thing in question. so what they do instead is gentrify and steal the parts they like while still saying the origins where it came from is still bad. its very odd.
The worst part to me is that many people think that is the problem in their relationship/the story. But it would be okay if Ana wanted to be his slave. Just as it is perfectly fine that she is not into that kind of stuff, but then they simply shouldn't be together. They should just each find someone else who is into the same stuff as they are, respectively, instead of trying to force one another to be something they are not and do stuff they don't feel comfortable with

Just a lil comment about the birth control/doctor part: all doctors ask shit like that. If you go to change your birth control and you’re sexually active they will ask if you’re pregnant and usually give you a test. It’s because if you are, the new birth control could cause fetal abnormalities or miscarriage and the doctor doesn’t wanna be on the hook for that.
Yup, agree 100%, some people stop contraceptives because they have a misconception that condoms are a sufficient alternative. Doctors have a responsibility to discuss this with them instead of assuming they know the risks of stopping contraceptives.
See but the odd thing is that when I started birth control in my teens and wasn't sexually active, they still made me take a pregnancy test??? Even though I told them that I hadn't had sex??
@@olivegs5367THIS! You are not even allowed to get the birth control shot if you don’t take a pregnancy test every time you need it EVEN IF YOU ARE SEXUALLY INACTIVE. Pet peeve of mine
@@yougauurti understand the annoyance and possibly embarrassment of this, but especially if they’re dealing with teens, doctors are gunna know that some people (not everyone, but enough they would have to be sure) would adamantly deny sexual activity even if they were having it for whatever reason. the pregnancy test is just a precaution and shouldn’t cause you to feel like they’re looking at you the wrong way or anything :)
Was there no one else from the school newspaper who could’ve filled in? No? It had to be her roommate with no interview experience who could have seriously damaged the school’s reputation?
As someone who was on the journalism track, I call bullshit. Any undergrad would jump at taking that opportunity. They take any opportunity to fill their portfolio. As a journalist, Kate would know Anna doesn't know how to interview and that there's a certain way to do it!
Right? And based on the "lore," there should be no shortage of college girls in the department who would want to interview the "sexy and elusive" Christian Grey. In fact, my head canon is that one of them smacked Kate when they found out she sent Ana of all people for the interview.
When I read the tampon part, I immediately shut the book and DNF’ed the entire thing. Didn’t read not one single sentence after that. And I think my brain began to heal and regain brain cells after that 😂😂
@@massomouse1556I read the first chapter and DNF'd it. I knew this book had a bad reputation and I had no interest in continuing the story. I mostly enjoyed the movie, though. I read that scene and made such a dramatic face, then closed out the app I was using to illegally read the book, and started searching the internet to see if anyone was talking about the weird tampon scene. I found nothing and had to try to process all day. I still have not fully processed it lol
This is such a small detail but it bugs me SO MUCH. During the part where he's buying rope and shit he buys zip ties for assumedly kink reasons but that's like INCREDIBLY dangerous, because zip ties can and will cut off circulation to whatever part its tied to. Like its just straight up negligent and if this was a better book it could have been used as a foreshadowing that he doesn't really give a shit about his partners.
@@kathleenwoods8416corsetry and kink are 10000000% different. Zip ties in corsetry are covered by fabric and anchored, and also have hooks/eyes and laces that can can be manually loosened at any time. In kink, if you use zip ties as wrist restraints for example, the way zip ties work is that they can tighten but cannot loosen again. So if the dom pulls the end of the tie or the sub shifts their weight enough, the tie could get painfully and dangerously tight without an easy way to release without cutting the tie. And when cutting them free you can easily cut or hurt the sub in the process of wiggling a cutting implement under the too-tight zip tie. BDSM /=/ risky or stupid.

Fifty Shades is to BDSM as Applebee's is to a fancy restaurant. It's not at all but there are definitely too many people who believe that it is. It's like someone heard the idea of BDSM in a dream and wrote it down hours after they woke up.
it really tells that the author probably read some fanfic with bdsm and then put it in her story without any personal experience or research. I remember the first time I read a story where it was very evident that the author practiced bdsm in thier personal life. It was pretty short and didn’t involve that much sex until the end but the dynamics felt so real and intimate. It made me understand why people were into being dominated like that.
50 shades is the first movie reason I can think of, that gave too many people the idea that BDSM is about harsh punishment, no loving, no consent, no norhing, and I hate it so much...I heard such a dumbass line in a movie once where virginal good girl tm was with her partner and there was a lady who's into BDSM, and then good girl said word for word, "I don't understand why people would not choose kindness..." to the lady that into BDSM...i hate it here...
@@bluewolf6323 if the movie you're talking about is Gabriel's Inferno then boy do I have some news! That movie is based off a book which is also Twilight fanfiction.

I remember being a kid in a small, very Catholic Ohio town and seeing every mom reading these books by the pool… and I just want to go back and be like “hey you all okay? Are your marriages alright? Did you find better smut?”
The fact aside that these books are so uncomfortable and portray unhealthy relationships in such a way, etc, I think it's cool Catholic women get to have an "outlet" in things like this, do you know what I mean?
This is so funny to me because I my small Ohio Catholic Church one of the priests gave an immensely unhinged rant about 50 shades during the first communion service while all the little kids were up at the front. Did not go over well
nothing wrong with this! the discipline required is pretty impressive. i think her point is anna doesn't seem like someone who has a strong sense of discipline especially since she apparently has no strong feelings about drinking alcohol so it seems pretty far fetched that she wouldn't have gotten drunk at some point
I don't think it's always about discipline... I've never even had any alcohol in my life because the smell alone makes me want to jump out of my skin and run for the hills. Then again, I'm autistic and there are so many things which give me the sensory icks so I might not be a good reference point. But yeah, I'm 23, been out of uni for a year at this point and have never drunk, nor do I ever intend to. People are different, you know
@@pluviophile-bookworm Same here! Two years out of college (even at a school with USA party culture) and have never had a sip. Just have no interest. I recently found out I’m likely autistic, and disinterest in alcohol actually seems like a common thing associated with autism

Humiliating that I not only live in Washington not far from that college but have friends who attend that exact campus. Why are bad books attracted to Washington??
why do so many smutty books seem to lack clear and consise consent before sex?? Idk if this is just a good amount of popular books in the booktube sphere that do this or if its a common trend because the ONLY book reveiw ive seen where the book actually has clear consent between both parties and not a single boundary is broken is the fucken Persephone exhibitionist retelling 😭 i know its fantasy and these books are good for exploring fantasy safely but damn bruh i-
but sometimes communication going off without a hitch is part of the fantasy 😂 like the point of fantasies is that it's your dream situation without the complications of Real People, and having a fantasy-person into exactly what I'm into who knows how to communicate that clearly is glorious and sometimes the whole point
its not a smutty book problem, it is an all books ever problem, that consent is a very distant thougt and only relevant when its not the love interesst . . . .
@@emilyreames7748 communication going off without a hitch and no communication ever are very different things though. you do not always have to ask every step of the way, if you are communicationg well and all, but ana and gray fail to communicate all of the time and it never gets aknowlaged, like her not liking him hitting her and him not even thinking it might upset her and all . . .
speaking as someone who writes fanfiction, this is why I always write consent into my work. my most recent fic involved stuff like anal play, so naturally i made sure my characters were on the same page and ensuring that the person receiving was safe and and maintaining a continuous and enthusiastic "yes". and i made sure i included aftercare. and someone left a super nice comment saying they loved how i managed to make it hot while still incorporating explicit consent.
It's like when I forgot my character was drunk during a scene but if instead of just having them wait to actually do anything the next day when he's sober, I just kept going and instead doubled down on him bring drunk even though he was only tipsy (and the alcohol was a plot device to get him to tell his boyfriend that he does like him but he's worried that him doing anything will creep his bf out so that's why he always goes "haha cool" in response to sexual shit. Crazy! Communication!)
@bumbabees Americans have the whole frat culture with all those parties. Even in my country we have bars near the campus. You'd be surprised how hard people go when they get a taste of freedom after hs....

Tbh as someone who does drink every so often (I also don’t like the taste, but I don’t mind getting drunk once in a while) I thought the way she was talking about getting drunk in college was kinda needlessly rude and judgmental. Not everyone wants to be getting drunk when they wanna focus on their studies, not everyone wants to be getting drunk in general. It’s all about personal tastes and what a person likes doing. Whether they choose to ingest alcohol or not shouldn’t really matter when judging someone’s character 😂

Ok, so Grey is absolutely an abusive megalomaniac and NEEDS to be told off, but I'm just CACKLING at how Anna's constantly responding to him like "Just because I'm your sub doesn't mean you can tell me what to do!" Like girl, I don't think you, Grey, or the author have any clue what "submissive" means🤣
LOL--I remember seeing a cartoon of someone reading the first book--constant "What? Wait, that's not how that works?" with hilarious faces. Then the character finishes the book "Best ending ever!" Reading 50 shades as an aroace woman feels like studying straight people under a microscope. Like do they actually think this kind of behavior towards women is attractive somehow, or is do they enjoy it in the same way people enjoy horror movies? I also think it's interesting how this predatory behavior is romanticized in a lot of straight romance (like 50 shades obviously, but also november 9th and frankly anything else by colleen hoover lol), while most LGBTQ+ media I've seen doesn't do that. My gut assumption is that toxic straight relationships are romanticized in media because of how they're normalized in real life (read: misogyny), but idk for sure.
This same portrayal can be seen in LGBTQ+ media and irl relationships, but it’s more prevalent in how the media portrays straight relationships because that’s the popular archetype archetype. Typically in LGBTQ+ media the relationship will be seen as basically the opposite of how straight relationships are portrayed because that’s the archetype. While these aspects can be found irl, it’s more so that the media has a pre-determined archetype for whatever they’re trying to portray, so that’s what they default to. It also doesn’t help that people have strong reactions to these archetypes which further incentivize the media to keep portraying these archetypes. Though, it’s actually pretty interesting how how certain archetypes we see in the media has been portrayed in books as far back as the Roman time period. So these archetypes have been normalized for a long period of time.
I never knew Christian had trauma like that, I only knew surface level what the concept of the story was. You could've written a psychologically deep and complex book about a child (boy!) getting sexually abused and groomed, and about how it affected him and how this manifests in his weird sexual desires as an adult etc. It could have been such an interesting piece of media reflecting on trauma and sexual abuse, especially in men, but no, all the world got was that.... whatever this is.

I'm going to ramble a bit 😂: I read these books when i was going through puberty because i used to be a Wattpad girlie who enjoyed a littlr smut. I was a horny teenager 😂. I read the books because the story was sold as this heavily sexy shmex story so i got relly excited. When i proceeded to read the books, not only was it a boring and just weird, but it wasn't as sexy as they promised. The jarring ups and downs of this story, especially the last book were the weirdest thing I've ever experienced as a young reader. I think i lost brain cells from reading these books. 😭 I feel like it could have been formatted and written better, but Ms EL James was the author so i expect nothing less from her 😂. But the series has made me so picky, even in my consumption of smut, because it showed me that not all smut and plots are made equally or healthy. This is not touching on how the story and the relationship dynamic is unhealthy as hell. But then again the source material was also questionable. Just across the board it was not the best idea for kid me to read such, but it did educate me more on the importance of consent and led me to learning more about it so its not all bad. To anyone who read this far, thank you for entertaining my ramble 😅
Ikr! I read the book when I was 13 and even then I thought that Christian's controlling behavior was annoying and far from romantic, and the whole sex stuff was not "sexy" at all

So far the realistic part of this whole thing is the doctor being in the face about birth control. Having been yelled at by doctors and nurses for birth control when I’m there for something completely unrelated is exactly my medical experience (at least Anna was visiting the doctor for BC).
But very unrealistic that an OB/GYN does house calls or any doctor for that matter. Except for a hospice doctor, my mom's hospice doctor came to see my mom 1 or 2 times a month with nurses coming 3 times a week

Something stuck to me throughout all these years was the very end of the last novel, during the last moment of "intimacy": Anastasia saying who the baby LIKED what was Christian doing…….. can’t help but cringe to this piece of writing (sorry for the grammar mistakes, English isn’t my first language)
I have conflicted feelings on the pregnancy trope. On one hand, the inclusion of pregnancy in a ‘steamy-type’ romance book gives out a positive message that you can still be desired even while carrying (I’m guessing a lot of women have that specific insecurity, which is why it’s a trope in the first place). On the other hand, it (unintentionally) reinforces the idea that having a healthy relationship and having a kid go hand-in-hand. And a lot of us know firsthand that that is NOT true. There’s also the issue that authors tend to skip over the option of aborting, but that’s really more of a marketing decision. I imagine a lot of editors push to leave that discussion out, as it would alienate some audience and hurt sales.
Haven’t read the book, but from what I’ve seen, even though these books must suck, you gotta give E.L. James credit for creating THAT MUCH trauma and not being stupid about it.

@@ainsleesbookclub I’m glad you don’t know, actually. ‘Anna’ here should be ‘Ana’, for Anastasia, which might make it clearer. ‘Ana’ is short for ‘anorexia’ and ‘Mia’ for ‘bulimia’, slang terms used on pro-anorexia websites and forums. Given the emphasis on Christian’s controlling of Ana’s food, it’s possibly not coincidental.
I remember when my ex boyfriend made me watch this with him and said ‘oh we should try that’ at some of the sex scenes and kept looking at me for approval 😭
Kinda weird that the singular canonically non-white person tries to drunkenly assault the main character. Maybe some racism there. Also I will never understand the appeal of the glamorization of virginity and acting like it’s sexy to never explore your own pleasure and only liking what your partner gives you permission to/encourages you to like. Like dude, you’re not a canvas for a man to project his fantasies onto, you’re your own person and you deserve to find out what you like without it being about other people. That in particular has to be one of my least favorite tropes of all time, and unfortunately it’s very prevalent in older erotica. There is something about this series that feels generations old, like there is an outdatedness to it, yk? And I guess if that’s your thing that’s fine, I certainly had a whale of a time reading it for my own reasons, but the old timey-ness to the plot and characters still perplexes me to this day
One thing I hate about this book is that it's whole boom is around it being kinky, but literally there is almost no acceptable kink? There's no actual proper practice of bdsm and half of the time we watch our main character get coerced/abused/be highly uncomfortable,, like the whole point is this dude wanting a 'submissive' (slave would be better) and since day one ana just doesn't want to, so like what is the point of this???

But your video was really entertaining and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to your rant. 😊
oooohh so about the birth control thing, it's a requirement every time you switch to a new birth control method after stopping an older one to test you for pregnancy. It's just to be safe and it's never personal, I'm 19 and I've gotten many pregnancy tests even when I told the doctor I was not sexually active, it's just a necessary precaution that they are required to take.
@@loganator5001you know, i never expected the 50shades take of Ana should have been the freak, but you're right and i absolutely hate it lol

@@jamesrawlings46Which is probably why most entry level kink stories advertised for mass-market consumption are so blandly terrible.

As someone who was on the journalism track, I call bullshit. Any undergrad would jump at taking that opportunity. They take any opportunity to fill their portfolio. As a journalist, Kate would know Anna doesn't know how to interview and that there's a certain way to do it!
Right? And based on the "lore," there should be no shortage of college girls in the department who would want to interview the "sexy and elusive" Christian Grey. In fact, my head canon is that one of them smacked Kate when they found out she sent Ana of all people for the interview.

I want read that better book! Also, I didn't know that specifically, but considering the use of larger zip ties in corsetry its not too weird.
YES

It made me understand why people were into being dominated like that.

its not a smutty book problem, it is an all books ever problem, that consent is a very distant thougt and only relevant when its not the love interesst . . .
Reading 50 shades as an aroace woman feels like studying straight people under a microscope.
@sourdoebread It is not that complicated. It’s just kinky in a way that arouses a lot of women. Basically porn in a form of a book.

I feel like it could have been formatted and written better, but Ms EL James was the author so i expect nothing less from her 😂.

The other third reported at least one perpetrator being male, however the study made no distinction between victims who experienced violence from male perpetrators only and those who reported both male and female perpetrators. Similarly, 61.1% of bisexual women reported physical violence, stalking, or rape by their partners in the same study with 89.5% reporting at least one perpetrator being male. In contrast, 35% of heterosexual women reported having been victim of intimate partner violence, with 98.7% of them reporting male perpetrators exclusively.
We aren't talking about some subtle abuse here we are talking about obvious ones
Social service agencies are often unwilling to assist victims of domestic violence perpetrated by women.
And Victims of domestic violence in lesbian relationships are less likely to have the case prosecuted within existing legal systems.
All because they share your beliefs that it's impossible for women to be abusive with each other
@@yyraeli would like to add also that the statistic doesn’t ask about relationships, it’s about sexuality! basically, lesbians have faced of the highest rates of domestic violence next to bisexual women which makes sense when you consider misogyny and the fetishization of wlw relationships by men. not denying that abuse happens in wlw relationships bcs of course it does, but in the statistics it is never specified what the gender of the abusive partner is. i bet that the statistics are so high bcs of past male partners for lesbians.
"There's no way you get through 4 years of college without getting drunk."
Me, who was in college for 5 years and doesn't like to drink because even being buzzed feels weird: 😳
My fondest memory of the fifty shades triology is that even as a teenager I didn't want to pay any money for this and found all books for free as a pdf.
Honestly I love that you sound like your telling me about your high school drama
take a shot every time the dude gets angry
The word panties genuinely haunts me
For the college drinking thing, I just graduated and I’ve never been drunk, but this is because of my severe fear of vomit
The implication in the hardware store scene im assuming is he’s using these items for his BDSM fungeon ( at least from how I see it) and that’s SO STUPID cause hard ware store rope is the last thing you’d want for bondage stuff. I’m not even part of the community and I’m even like “ yeah that’d feel really icky on my skin no thanks “ lol.
Thank you for the video!!! Brought so many forgotten memories back to the surface!!! I remember reading them during a summer holiday, on a laptop (as pdf files), as a YOUNG TEENAGER…. Something stuck to me throughout all these years was the very end of the last novel, during the last moment of "intimacy": Anastasia saying who the baby LIKED what was Christian doing…….. can’t help but cringe to this piece of writing
(sorry for the grammar mistakes, English isn’t my first language)
Your voice is so calming. I love this video! Thank you for going through the pain of reading these books so I didnt have to.
I love how Elliot is just Andrew Garfield
Haven’t read the book, but from what I’ve seen, even though these books must suck, you gotta give E.L. James credit for creating THAT MUCH trauma and not being stupid about it.
I don't wanna trigger anyone but... E.L. James didn't think ANYTHING was wrong with ANNA Steele and MIA Gray?????
this comment is literally living in my brain because I have no idea what it means 😭 I might just be stupid but can you pls explain I won’t know peace until I understand
Oh jeez that’s so much worse than I expected! If it’s on purpose, that is so so so messed up, and if not it’s a VERY unfortunate coincidence !
Wait, I'm slow, so are you saying that they themselves are anorexic and bulimic or that this is a fetish for them?
@@bmlgordon I'm going to throw up what the fuck
*watches in “about to graduate university and has never been drunk” lol*
I remember when my ex boyfriend made me watch this with him and said ‘oh we should try that’ at some of the sex scenes and kept looking at me for approval 😭
"HE GAVE ME THE ICKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK"😭😭😭 that's disgusting, love seeing that ex next to boyfriend tho😋
Why are so many people breaking into his apartment so easily 😂
Kinda weird that the singular canonically non-white person tries to drunkenly assault the main character. Maybe some racism there.
Also I will never understand the appeal of the glamorization of virginity and acting like it’s sexy to never explore your own pleasure and only liking what your partner gives you permission to/encourages you to like. Like dude, you’re not a canvas for a man to project his fantasies onto, you’re your own person and you deserve to find out what you like without it being about other people. If I’m remembering correctly, they even made a point to be like “she’s never even TOUCHED herself before!1!!” Which is so 🤢🤢 as if the idea of Ana getting to know her own body would make her ‘less pure’ in some way. That in particular has to be one of my least favorite tropes of all time, and unfortunately it’s very prevalent in older erotica.
There is something about this series that feels generations old, like there is an outdatedness to it, yk? And I guess if that’s your thing that’s fine, I certainly had a whale of a time reading it for my own reasons, but the old timey-ness to the plot and characters still perplexes me to this day
As someone who is borderline ace, this series makes me squirm just thinking about it.
I'm loving your vibe, the perfect amount of sass, a hatred of the word panties, all while being a quality video essay
You forgot about the disturbing detail that he only took submissives who had long brown hair because they looked like his biological mother................. EW
As someone who read these books when I was WAY TOO FUCKING YOUNG, even 14/15 year old me knew Christian was deeply fucked in the head, but I loved the drama.
Finally! Someone other than me thinks that it is gross for grown men to call their girlfriends and sexual partners ‘Baby’!
Love your vids girl
the way i am so obsessed with 50 shades of grey, like i hate it, but I will watch anything related to it
Great video! This was exactly the kind of book commentary/review type video that I've been looking for
I don't like Ana Steele, but I do have to respect the fact that she really was delulu enough to think Christian would be different at any point.
Also, it's probably bad that I adore any scene where she even shows a tiny bit of resiliance or sass against him.
I loved the way that this felt just like a friend ranting about some crazy book and getting to listen and discuss the crazy shit about it. I feel like youre an awesome friend :)
I gotta say, I got through all 4 years of college without ever getting drunk lol It’s pretty easy honestly 🤷♀️
Girl this is everything!! I love your style and your content, you have such good vibes
thank you!!!
I read Twilight and then refused to read any of the other books. When 50shades came out and someone said that it was basically Twilight rewritten, I knew that it was going to be bad. BUT after much deliberating, I decided it was not good to say something was bad if you haven’t tried it. I could not get past the first 100 pages. It horrified me! But your video was really entertaining and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to your rant. 😊
this is the greatest book report of all time
oooohh so about the birth control thing, it's a requirement every time you switch to a new birth control method after stopping an older one to test you for pregnancy. It's just to be safe and it's never personal, I'm 19 and I've gotten many pregnancy tests even when I told the doctor I was not sexually active, it's just a necessary precaution that they are required to take. Although I can see how in the context of this book, we can absolutely take it as the doctor man just scrutinizing Ana lol
was ur channel like selectively bred for my entertainment jfc immediate subscribe r u kidding me i basically only watch 1-2 hr recap videos pls continue to do gods work
Haunting Adeline makes this super tame and normal
Im soo glad I found you, these video essays are GOLD! You'll have so many subscribers in NO TIME, girl!! 🎉
I applaud you for reading not one but THREE books for this. I DNF’d a chapter inn😭
13:12 genuinely the nastiest worst most horrible thing ive ever heard like i wouldnt use my partner of 2 years toothbrush outside of an actual literal emergency 😭 😭 like wtf
What is the emergency because travel toothpaste suggests using a finger and just mouthwash or even skipping a night is better than rubbing someone else's bacteria in there
@@leahdavis9434this is such a good point i change my previous statement
I always bring one face washcloth and one backup washcloth: sopping up spills, stopping bleeding, etc - and in this case brushing my teeth
oh I meant to reply to @leahdavis9434 welp
This was so entertaining because you framed it like high school drama 🙏😭
I love your videos so much! I just discovered your channel and i am binging all your content rn, it's amazing😌😌(and your voice and storytelling is so comforting!!)
