All thing considered, Wyll took it like a champ. He defied his patron over the target he had been hunting because it was against his code of honor, knowing full well he will be punished for it. Also, he didn't even blame Karlach.

Yes very cheap trick one that she uses frequently when you deal with her. Her interactions should've been a roll check to see and a punishment if you failed a roll. It's clear Larian rushed through making this content because a lot of it makes no sense if you think about it.
Agree. More than that. I am not very good in english, a specificly in law english, but in my opinion text of that point, if you want, could be readed like: «target limited shall be demonic AND infernal AND heartless AND soulless. And if that conditions has not allowed in the same time for one target: its not legal. Exaple, Yurgear, Raphael, Mizora themself are not leafal target by the contract, becose, yes, they are infernal, soulless, maybe heartless (most argue point), bot they are not DEMONIC. They are DEVILS. And more the that. Karlach is not hertless. She has a hear. Her heart was TAKEN AND STOLEN from her but it is, for law, still her. She own her heart still. But Wyll, on my eye, has intelligence as 8, and other belives the contract is right because he believes its right. But its not. He shoud go to temple of Tyr, there he would be explayned details if not the point he cant tell anyone about conditions. In fact, a belive, my Tyr cleric should have opportunity to disput that point of contruct. Hmm, but may be, thing is about they all shocked and cant think so fast. And Wyll...he is 8 intelligent. So, I think, it should be check intelligence, difficult 15, with bonus from history.
I don’t know how I fucking did it but on my save I am way past this quest and I still have both Karlach and human wyll and I literally remember doing some type of skill check in dialogue to do it what the fuck
after 70h me and my friend realised, that we never had this interaction Karlach is alive and part of our team, and Wyll is still human. Any idea if this can be fixed? :' ) Nwm it's working lol
He's a tiefling now. A common misconception regarding tieflings is that they are just hybrids born from an unholy union of a mortal and a being of the hells. But they can also just as easily be created through a curse or a demonic pact gone either right or wrong depending on personal preferences. At their core, tieflings are still just humans with demonic perks and a longer lifespan. (Did a lot of research on this when I made my tiefling rogue)
i just realize i never done karlach quest, early on to look for her in that spot she was bleeding out at. i did this part cut scene. i found out later you can recruit her. so i went to her spot and shes no longer there. did i fked up? edit: yes, i saved emerald grove people.
@@fireguy9931 yeah, its to late. just need to look for a save file to load LOL. thats what i did. thank god i had one just 1hr behind from where i was at. if you killed goblin camp and triggered the cut scene with wyll turning into a tifeling by myroza it'll be to late to recruit her. to confirm it, go to the tollhouse where karlach will be, if andres and his paladin crew are dead then 100% to late. shes worth having, makes the party more lively with her around and shes just pure awesome
"I don't like this, he looks so bad" Gee it's almost like it's a *punishment* - like this game has consequences for your choices or something. Damn, wish they would've said something about that sooner 😅😂
It does look bad. They shouldnt've punish you for picking an origin character. And forcing you to kill one of the only 5 companions in the game was such a bad call. Karlachs whole story seems rushed it makes no sense for her to even have a tadpole since the nautiloid was only in avernus for a few minutes.
@@MohrsCircle You are forced to either kill off one of the few companions in the game or look like a freak. Where are all these lose lose situations for the other origin characters. They rewrote Wylls story and it's clear they rushed it, its not well thought out.
Wait...so the game has consequences for a choice and people are mad they can't have their cake and eat it too? Wow, color me surprised. Guess Baldur's Gate 3 really did bring a bunch of new people to the RPG genre. 😂
Really hate how he looks. Playing him as an origin character and pretty much had to kill Karlach even though shes one of the five companions because Wyll looks like a freak after he gets transformed. Would've been nice if they let us at least pick the type of horn or something. The lack of customization on origin characters was bad enough...
It's a punishment though, why should it look good? Wyll has tracked and hunted a long list of fiends, so it makes sense for him to be turned into one by his evil patron.
@@antonellocalo9787 It's a stupid punishment forcing you to either ignore a companion or have wyll look like an idiot. No other origin character has lose lose situations like that. It was a poor decision and one that they obviously rushed to make.
@Caa129 I do not agree, there are other examples of choices that force you to choose a companion over the other. For example, if you help the goblins invade the Grove you will unlock Minthara but Wyll will hate you. Shadowheart can potentially kill Lae'zel and they just don't like each other. Another example of a bad consequence linked to a companion is Gale's need to consume magic items, so by having him in your party you have to give up useful objects. This is a game focused on choices and consequences and I like that saving Karlach causes Wyll's patron to react, it's realistic. That's what would happen to a warlock in Dungeons&Dragons if they rebel to their patron, moreover in DnD your patron can even abandon you if you don't follow their demands.
@@antonellocalo9787 The examples you gave are not even remotely similar to Wylls situation. For Wyll you either kill a companion locking off everything involved with her, or you permanently look like a weird devil. It's a terrible choice to make when your playing as Wyll as your origin character that's an objective fact. Minthara is a throw away companion I guarantee almost no one attacked the grove that's not a very hard choice to make. Having Shadowheart not kill Lae'zel comes with no consequence. Gale's magic item feeding ends after giving him a few items. In D&D there would be a work around to this situation. Forcing players to kill off a companion is about the dumbest thing Larian did. It's a known fact that they rushed Wyll and Karlachs content and it very clearly shows. This would not happen in D&D you would never be forced to kill off a party member for your patron that's moronic.

But she is still heartless. Devils are fond of not being specific, he should have clarified what constitutes a heart.

Lohse really changed a lot since the last time I saw her
I like how I had an option to just assume Mizora was Wylls patron from the start since I'm playing as a Teifling Warlock myself.
Lohse as Mizora...thr closest thing we get if Lohse gets full possessed by Ahdramalek 😂
Wyll basically turned Illidan 😂
yea i don't like his new look either, but i have to say its an effective reminder
Why are y’all complaining about his new look? He looks hella cool with his killer horns!!
They're a bit big and the red eye is dumb
He looked better before .
Imagine how difficult to sleep it would be with horns like that.
Where there's a Wyll, there's a way?
Technically heartless vs figuratively heartless. Evil loophole.

So far, the coolest thing about Wyll is his horns.
came back to say I still hate Wyll.
Mizora : Karlach has no heart
Me : "I will look for you, I will find you and I will kill you."
Is it just me, or is Wyll really completely unable to cast spells in his new form?
