Gorgeous. You are SO pretty. She said wella but I saw vero k-pak on the table. You know maintaining a strawberry copper blonde would not be so difficult if you use semi-permanent toners on your own and color depositing shampoo and conditioner. you would get your hair colored by your stylist and then every 4-6 weeks you could tone with a semi-permanent and they don't lift so they do less damage. then the color depositing shampoo and conditioner would extend it. Reds do have a larger molecule which is why they fade faster.

I watched a video on curl types and decided I was a 3A (mostly). My hair also looks flat, like yours, and slightly wavy when wet and then it dries and bam, lots of frizzy loose curls, it’s out of control. I really wondered if devacurls etc. would work for me the way it does on your hair, because your hair looks so good. Maybe I picked the wrong curl type I thought...then I saw your hair drying in the car coming back from the hairdressers and I realized, yep, that’s my hair! So apparently, my every day “styled” look is your hair, not styled just air drying, in the car. 😬😂
Clearly I have a lot to learn, but at least I have hope now. 😁
Ugh it's so hard to find a good hair dresser, keep her forever! I've been to so many curly hair 'specialists' who do well at some things but always cut my hair so awkward! I gave up and did a pixie cut and I'm growing it out now!

I don't like how my hairstylists style my curls and I'm gonna tell them that I'm just going to do it when I get home. Do you have any suggestions on what to say to the hairstylist that you don't want them to style it and you just want to do it when you get home. Thanks.
mygenevab Sorry, this is an old comment and I know you asked her and not me but I'm gonna give you my tip... I tell the hairdresser that I have swimming lesson RIGHT AFTER and that styling it would be a waste.

sudistars yup, since my curls are loose they don’t shrink that much so I don’t mind her trimming my hair while wet
