Wow! I consider gel to be the final step...the “sealer/seal it all in” kind of thing. And my hair would NOT tolerate touching when it’s drying/not dripping any more. You’re lucky...I can’t even use a diffuser w/o frizzing...I require a hooded dryer. High maintenance!

What is the difference between the Ultra Defining gel and the Light defining gel? I don't know what to get! I have same hair as u but afraid it looks crunchy with the UDG. You have a beautiful Devacut ☺️

Yes, since the no poo doesn't lather, I like to use a good amount to make sure that it's distributed to my whole scalp. And if I had to cut the products to 2 or 3, let's say 3, I'd choose the B'Leave In, the wave maker, and the ultra defining gel. Those might be my top 3 favorites and would give great results together. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!

That is what I think mine are...looser, "fatter curls" that can frizz and also, the curl can be easily lost without the right products. Right? So, is that why you use more "gel" types of products!? Thank you! I wouldn't say it's better, because they both do different things. The B-Leave-In is just a leave in gel to moisturize and give volume to your hair. The Super Cream is for styling your hair so it also moisturizes, but it has a stronger hold for defining the curls.

Your hair is beautiful but that routine uses an insane amount of time and product. Would need a second mortgage to buy all those products! And then you gotta do makeup.....BUT, again, you do look lovely.

It depends on your curl type. Mine is 3a so my curls don't shrink that much. If your curls are tighter then they probably shrink more. When applying the product, smooth it down with the "praying hands method" using your two hands to stretch your hair. Don't scrunch it and see if that helps
It smells a little bit like lime, but once it's dry you can't smell it anymore. The only product that has a lasting scent is their volumizing foam which smells soo good, more of like a fruity scent

When you diffuse, what setting are you using on the blow dryer? Warm or cool, low or high?
I use the warm temp on the lowest fan speed, and sometimes alternate between warm and hot if I'm in a rush

hipretty Deva Curl stylist do not use brushes or combs. Only their fingers.
i use a wet brush. its specifically made for detangling wet curly hair but use it while u have conditioner on

It depends on your curl type. Mine is 3a so my curls don't shrink that much. If your curls are tighter then they probably shrink more. When applying the product, smooth it down with the "praying hands method" using your two hands to stretch your hair. Don't scrunch it and see if that helps
You can also use heavy creams and conditioners to stretch and weigh down your curls. And if you want, avoid scrunching.
