I didn't love how i was on a road trip and had check engine light on and the dealership had my truck for 2 weeks. I didn't love how everyday i hear about a new engine failure. All I want is the amenities of a limited with a little nicer soft touch dash and other areas. I wish they would just make all the trucks with the exception of SR with the platinum soft touch areas. I’m good with softtex over genuine leather, just feel like the cost of a limited should come with less hard plastic in the cabin

Yeah, that will never happen here in California where I live specifically the Bay Area and the dealerships around here don’t carry that many inventory let alone discounts
@TundraDude34 Thank you for your work/ video. Sadly, even after my initial substantial disappointment with the Tundra refresh release, my disappointment has spread throughout the Toyota truck line. All models are way too overpriced …still! A half-step behind the big-three in terms of features … still! (Bad mpgs across all models//brands.) And yes, while there are a few “hiccups” in all models, the reliability issues and decreasing longevity I’ve seen in friends’ later models versus my long history with Toyota trucks/suvs… It’s just sad. Toyota needs to right their now “listing” ship!! But corporate profits are king and that is all the higher execs really care about. (As is the case with most companies these days.) I have a great mechanic, and I’ll just put some more $ into my old faithful. Still does everything I need. And anyone buying a new TRD PRO/RAPTOR/TRX/?? to thrash off-road has way more $ than smarts. I’ll trailer the SxS on some moderate off-roads to the trailhead (and of course deep snow on the way to grab some 🏂 powder days 😁🤙😁, or tools & lumber for the honey-do list projects) but that’s about as far as I’m taking my daily driver. Thanks again for your videos!
@@TundraDude34 no disrespect meant to you. Your enthusiasm for Toyota is unmatched. My frustration comes from the very high prices they're asking post COVID

A year ago, we were seeing huge markups nationwide and limited inventory. Now we are seeing lots filled with options, the return of incentives, dealer discounts and negotiating make a return. Hopefully, we see deep discounts as we move forward. I paid 58k sticker for my dcab sr5. You can get a Platinum around 60 now with some discounts ive seen.

All these Tundras and Tacomas stacking up... The Fanboys bought theirs and now the rest of us with common sense are sitting back laughing. Then I saw they have an overflow lot that must of had over a hundred Tundras and new Tacomas, that's a new scam I hadn't seen yet. Let them collect dust!!!!
Invoice isn't cost...on top of the out of market prices they jacked up the small charges (delivery/processing/handling/etc.). They are going to need to go to 10k off or offer 0% finance to sell. The buyers are fatigued. Toyota will let the dealers eat these on their floor plan for a few months before they push down big incentives. If you're a buyer then wait until the 25s are hitting.
