basically it took him hundreds of hours to do this, since that is how TAS is, in TAS you basically move at less than 40x speed or 80x speed, rejoining the game to make TICK PERFECT moves, essentially it takes very long but TAS is supposed to be the fastest possible run
@@canadianbutt275 Yeah, each tick is played perfectly, the point of TAS is to be perfect which is why TAS includes manipulated RNG to get the best possible RNG (like max strongholds, best chest loot, etc)

okay, first of all, this TAS is surely impressive, i can imagine all the time and dedication it took to plan and record it, i'm also surprised how well the route is optimized. It is a big historical moment for TAS community, however... for people who think, this is something close to a limit, it is not. Of course, you can't get ALL advancements in under 1 hour, but the time before the phantom wait can be imrpoved by A LOT. Basically a normal thing is, that every time first TAS for a specific category is released, it is not even close to a perfection and this one is no exception from the rule. First reason why it can be faster, is because, the route used here mostly contains speedrun strats, and while this is fine and it's a great showcase of how much speedruns can be optimized, TAS strats tend to be faster. Now to precise what i mean by TAS strats, these are: curing zombie villager in 12 seconds, using pigmen spawning rng to get stacks of gold within seconds, going for hdwgh with minimal setup etc... if i had to estimate, how much faster phantomless aa can get, i would say that sub 20 minute MAY be possible, and sub 25 definitely is possible. Now again, i am not criticizing, just pointing out direction to go for future TASers, this is still very quality TAS, you gained a lot of respect in my eyes for all the hard work put into this project and i really hope you will continue TASing because that's the dedication TAS community really needs. P.S. in the future if you need help with making a TAS, you can always ask in TAS discord, i'm sure people will help you with datapacks so you won't have to reset that much ;)
@@char8169 there is a minecraft mechanic that has 1% chance every tick to check around the zombie villager for iron bars and beds when it's curing. For each iron bar and bed it can speed up the process by 1 tick and up to 14 ticks per one check. Now because odds of this happening every tick are so small this strat is nearly useless in normal runs, but for TAS where luck is perfect, you can make curing zombie villager 15 times faster. Detailed information on how it works are on minecraft wiki for zombie villagers, but basically using math you can calculate that the fastest possible time in which you can cure zombie villager is 12 seconds

@@lightning_11 yeah, it’s almost like they’re cheating!
@@salarmer1633 I know, right? They should really check their mods folder in case they left a TAS mod in there by accident!
By the fact alone that you gotta know what to drop and what you know to keep, I'm already impressed
Everything is just so smooth👌. Espacially the crafting. Great job🙌
This is so fun to watch. It helped me fall asleep despite my terrible cough (I caught a cold). Thank you! :)
Holy cow i never thought someone would make an AA glitchless TAS!
That first nether portal build was wild I didn’t even realize what was happening
Fantastic run. So glad to see a TAS for 1.16!
Watching this video right after the 1.21 video sure was interesting, there was a lot less to do here. Really shows how many activities were added past this point. The old terrain generation feels so alien now.
Thank you for making a TAS video that last over 2 minutes, it always bother be that the run finishes too fast
Damn I gotta say the difference between this AA run and the 1.21 AA TAS you made is wild, this one is awesome don't get me wrong but the 1.21 TAS is just another level
That TNT fish kill was so hype dude
I feel like the whole point of this run is showing off cool TAS-only tech, and I am all for it :)
I've always wanted to see a TAS of all advancements in minecraft 1.16.
18:00 lamb is born, immediately kills and eats both of its parents in front of it. Then puts it on a leash, drags it into a hole with a bunch of other poor helpless animals to be shot point blank with a crossbow for the "Arbalistic" achievement. Brutal.
Its a real life glitch in humanity that we feel bad for virtual animals
But a similiar thing could happen in reality. People can be absolute lunatics :(
You should’ve used the time waiting for the phantoms at the end to build some elaborate structure within the time limit. Then you get Sweet Dreams with the bed used being the one for the house
Man I’m telling you this Tas guy is outta this world, got runs for every game out there
instant favorite! thanks so much for making this
Im very impressived whit this video, is so epic, and incredible, you got all archivement, nice run
Really solid TAS nice
whole thing was amazing but final 3 made me speechless. i don't care if some things can be faster, it's incredible. good job
39:05 look that sync
Around 12:00 I got super into it, and realized how incredible this vid is. Fantastic work
Very impressive run. It's a bit frustrating that AA is impossible to complete within 1 hour, but at the same time, it means you will never be beaten :)
You have a lot of dedication to play minecraft 40x slower for an hour straight, and if one piece of RNG doesnt go your way, you have to reset. Lots of props to this guy
He doesn’t have to reset when it’s a TAS
This was super relaxing to watch
That fish tnt drop was the juiciest thing I've ever seen someone do in mc
Fish farming trick is insane wtf
i've watched whole video in one go, this speedrun is very interesting. Will see this video again.
That rabbit baby was orphaned before I could see the exp lol
13:00 ok that was like the most badass way to ever get a high amount of fishes killed what
plural form of fish is still fish
This video has taught me that Pigstep sounds fucking awesome on 2x speed
I never thought I would see someone get full diamond armor/tools with an elytra before getting a stone Pickaxe
Imagine someone randomly joins your smp and the chat is like this…
I was thinking the same thing lol
This is insane, well done!
17:25 imagina estar nadando tranquilo y que de repente te metan en un cubo y te lleven a cientos y cientos de bloques en un instante.
Woah, the soundtrack is like made for your thing. It's like a movie.
Whether it is ETA or TAS, the fishing rod YEET never gets old (my fav one was the Shulker getting flung into the atmosphere at 40:51)
That was an amazing TAS man, especially for your very first TAS too! Excited to see what you can pull off next :)
Imagine being in bed and someone kicks down your door, toss in a live grenade and then leaves all within 10 seconds
Sounds like a typical real life war to me. Bonus reality points for not wanting anything to do with it but you were forced to go kill innocent people as the last thing you do before you die yourself just because you were born with your gonads hanging outside of your body and not inside of it
OMFG I was like “why does he need so much fucking gold” but then I remembered that Beacons exist 😍
gotta love it when amazing runs are halted by a game mechanic that's impossible to get around
If someone wants to beat it they'll compare the time until the AFK spot is reached.
@@whocares2277 yep, but then there should be more strict definition on when does the AFK officially start, but this can easily be taken care by community once this category gets more popular
@@aloysiuskurnia7643 afk starts once you’ve done all advancements except sweet dreams and phantom-related advancements I guess
To all the chads that watched the entire wait for phantoms.
Also, yeah you admitted there were some scuffed moments. But hey, with the phantoms constraint, it don't matter! Kudos to the many many many hours of work it must have took to figure out all the nitty gritty details to bring the run to this level of optimization and efficiency!
This is amazing
Bro the bullseye trick was insane i didnt know you could do that
bruh the fishy business achievement is hilarious
