For anyone wondering about the endermen at 1:00, there's a couple things at play, first of all he was playing on the April fools snapshot, where a lot of custom rules were implemented, the culprit here is a rule that "allows endermen to hold any block"
That might seem pretty benign at first, but that rule includes air, which is what endermen hold by default. And when an endermen is holding a block it no longer counts towards the mob cap, because the game no longer allows it to despawn.
So because air was now a valid block for endermen, *every* endermen no longer counted towards the mob cap, so the game kept spawning them infinitely, since the mob cap wasn't full.
What Does Benign Mean
@@swaggypotato962harmless
@@swaggypotato962 you’re galactus you should know
Thank@@tropicbliss1198
@@tropicbliss1198 This is a technically "incorrect" way of using benign, because the official dictionary definition of benign is "gentle and kindly." You're still correct of course, language evolves with time so the word has been drifting recently to mean something more synonymous with mundane, unimportant, or harmless. I think this is due to noncancerous tumors being described as benign, so the word is associated with something being non-harmful. It doesn't matter, I just think language drift is interesting.

Lilypad :D
6:00 The reason he was shot is because soulsand is actually slightly smaller than what the block looks like, this is useful for netherwart farms, but it also allows pixel perfect arrows to pass through. (Although why the skeleton shot is a mystery)
nah one day notch was experimenting with skeletons and he manged to make then have aimbot and thats the story of the strafing aimbot machines
Skeletons really do have aimbot
Maybe the skeletons were fighting each other? And somehow an arrow happened to miss?
If they can shoot through it, they can probably see through it too

@@ultradark8715 ridiculously rare
I do wonder whether these would make the run no longer considered *glitchless*
glitchless means no abusing glitchess. Otherwise any run would be unlegitimate, because each seed has a world generation bug somewhere in the world
but btw i think some world gen bug such as floating sugarcanes, sands or even "exposed buried treasure"...etc. are not counted as glitches,
cus they are intended to happen due to the biome creating orders, and those cool things are fixed after a block update next to it,
I think it's pretty much a vanilla feature tho.
well, they aren't intended but... yeah.@@boyusir_1003_

He sure does need to go deeper
7:24 Zombie pigmen can spawn from nether portals in normal gameplay. This one just spawned frame one.
My best guesses based on experience.
0:00 - Don't think this is a bug, tnt can move and explode in the same tick. The movement you usually see tnt do is done through interpolation clientside.
0:08 - No idea, best guess is the fireball was on one side of the ghast in one tick and on the other the next.
0:19 - Piglin inherited fallspeed of boat, in the tick or tick before the boat broke, thus died of fall damage.
0:35 - Item merging, not a bug. Just very very unlucky.
0:52 - As slackow said, april fools bug. Read his comment for a better explanation.
1:05 - Either chunk render thread froze or chunk generation thread froze. Probably chunk gen based on him tping back. Notice no blocks break when he mines?
1:30 - Also think terrain gen froze for a bit and caused a desync. Never seen this in vanilla before tho.
1:50 and 1:59 - No good explanation. Math is hard. Probably caused by momentum affecting throw, never seen it curve tho. Very weird considering how minecraft handles volicity.
2:05 - No idea. Dragon is just mean sometimes.
2:24 - Probably at a chunk border, the villager and zombie probably spawned first, and the rest of the iglo spawend after causing it to be broken.
2:56 - Shulker pearl entity failed to unload on death. Weird to see it happen like this. Happens a lot with modified spawners.
3:09 - Probably the server's anticheat misbehaving. Looks like canceled move events to me.
3:34 - Also terrain gen tomfoolery. Mojang constantly tries to fix this, but it crops up all the time. Lava was probably chunkloaded and thus ticking before the bastion spawned. Not certain.
3:40 - I don't think this is a bug, but I think it's because the blaze was pathing that way, and the attack was aimed straight up.
3:48 - Literally no idea.
3:56 - Not a bug, was flying with the elytra and slammed into the wall really fast because of the dragon knockback. Unlucky tho.
4:08 - Ghost broken block. Casued by mojang making singleplayer a hidden server. Happens a lot with high ping and instamine on servers.
4:35 - I don't see what's wrong in this clip.
4:58 - I don't know, if this is on 1.20 maybe its caused by the change to how minecraft decides what block you're *actually* on?
5:10 - Also not a bug, entities *can* swim in lava, if they're already jumping. They just don't actively try to.
5:19 - Oh lucky! Also caused by terrain gen overriding other features
5:25 - Yep, terrain gen order. They *really* need to make strongholds be the last thing to generate.
5:45 - Oof. No valid space so it ejects the player up ontop of the boat, which puts him inside soulsand and thus also inside lava.
5:50 - Sometimes your hitbox can be outside the bounds of a box letting entities attack you. Normally only spiders see you. I'm guessing stairs are transparent to mob AI?
6:01 - Not sure what's going on here, but based on the in game timers for both players, the server probably received the other player's packet first. Ping dif. Technically you won tho.
6:20 - Not a but, you can see he right clicked with the pearl before swapping.
6:28 - I think they didn't right click the bed fast enough, but its hard to tell.
6:35 - Pixel perfect hitbox alignment. I thought impossible to happen naturally.
6:53 - I believe this isn't a vanilla but, I think it's probably a bug with the modloader. Don't quote me on that though.
7:13 - Zoom in makes it hard to tell, but you can place multiple blocks in a single tick, probably swapped and was still holding right click. Like I said tho, hard to tell.
7:14 - Not a bug, just unlikely.
7:27 - That's caused by the client thinking the inventory is different than the server. It is a really annoying bug.
7:37 - The ray that spawns to detect if you hit something spawns behind your head, iirc.
7:50 - Bonus: this is actually true. Part of your flavor profile is temperature.
the problem in 6:20 i think has nothing to do with the pearl, but the fact that he takes no damage and isnt set on fire in the lava.
7:27 is 99% a desync bug
@@alexlxpg4985 You're right, I missed that clap and credited the other clips' time, fixed. The old desc was for the previous clip.
@@tost5936 if that's the case it's because the hitbox of a portal frame is smaller than a block, so he falls onto the hitbox of stone block. It's the same reason falling block dupers work with these portals.

Bro raysworks
You missed the point. Tnt didn't blew up the block below.
the one at 0:26 with the boat isn't a glitch. its an easter egg that makes the boat break into sticks and planks at very specific heights, as a reference to their old counterparts from earlier versions.
yeah, but the boat isn't supposed to perform open brain surgery on that piglin
@Nserialdesignation it got squished below the boat, as explained in other comments
@@Lithian5032 I think what happened here is that at a few specific heights, boats do not cancel out fall damage. The player jumped out before it hit the ground, and the piglin entered the boat just as it was about to deal the fall damage to whoever was in it
@@dunndidi looked again, and yep, it did
as far as im aware its not actually an easter egg, looking into the code there's no real definition for what heights cause the boat to break, and it seems to come from the legacy code that handled them being destroyed. the code weirdly checks a couple different variables determining fall distance and whether or not the boat has landed, and in very specific scenarios (that are consistent enough to give a number of heights this occurs at) the ticks will line up weirdly and the boat will default to its legacy behaviour. detailed as MC-119369 on the bug tracker
LETS GOO I love the clips you choose, shows the real essence of mcsr. Also the tapl clip at 3:09 is golden oml
I don't even get whats happening. Can you explain?
@@wernerderchamp I mean, the tapl clip was a pearl getting caught in the blocks, causing panic and then making tapl presumably switch scenes in obs.
As for the entire video, sometimes minecraft be like that when people try going fast or try random stuff
@@itsdxrk Thank you
7:09 im genuinely confused how that happened
I think he desynced client and server by making his client think he crafted one into ingots while the server thought he crafted both into ingots, because they disagreed which tick was the one when he picked up the second block
@@Slackowwow, those were a bunch of smart words, you must be right.
@@imagiking69420 not sure if you're being sarcastic but I'll try to use simpler terms lol.
So a desync means that the server and client disagree about the state of something, in this case the inventory, desyncs are what cause most bugs like this where you click a slot and a random item appears or it gets updated in some unexpected way.
In this case you can actually see it happen, the server thinks he put both of his gold blocks into his crafting grid, while his client only thinks he put in one block, you can see while he's crafting his hotbar has 2 gold blocks in it while there's one in the grid.
As a result he actually crafts all 18 ingots, and the server is keeping track of this, but his client hasn't quite caught up yet, when he picked up the other block his gold disappears because it's not in that slot according to the server, it's where the gold blocks are, since that's where the result of the recipe would've gone if he picked up both blocks.
Then in the end, when he tries to craft blocks into ingots again, he's actually crafting gold ingots into nuggets, because the server is what dictates the result of the recipe.
@@Slackow I was being kind of sarcastic, but now I understand it better lol
7:23 I think that what's happening here is that when he lit the portal, there was a Piglin standing at the exact coordinates that the portal *would* be. This is not as rare as you might think, because the Nether's coordinates are just the Overworld's coordinates times 8, so the portal in the Nether appears at the Nether's version of the coordinates that the portal in the Overworld is at. In simpler terms, the Portal doesn't appear in a random spot in the Nether. So, then, we only have one random variable, where the Piglin is in the Nether, meaning that the chances of this happening is significantly higher, but still, it is rare.
It's not a glitch though, only a rare occurance.
Nether doesn't load until a player goes through a portal, but lit portal blocks have a
portals randomly spawn piglins iirc even if none walk through the other side

2:15 I think that could happen if the ranked force perch changed the dragon from perching to perch approach again
4:57 are we gonna ignore the lava not updating?

1:59 oh I know what was that. Damage gave you speedboost that in turn changed initial velocity of pearl. Pearl initial velocity is vector sum of throwing velocity and player velocity.
5:26 I guess you could say it was a... *ruined portal*
2:55 oh yeah, I know what's happening there. So basically, the hitbox of that mob is too tall, and so, when he tries to place blocks directly above the mob, the game puts the block there, but then it realizes that the block is clipping into the mob, so it removes the block. I think the reason why you can see the block is because of some sort of preformance issues (which, for those who don't know, means that the game is calculating too much and is slowing down)
6:00 I’m not sure, but I think he got shot bc soul sand isn’t a full block, and the skeleton shot thru the tiny gap. I’m thinking this bc you can shoot an arrow thru the gaps in honey blocks or farmland/ path blocks.

The bug for the boat one (0:22) was that the boat broke like in 1.8 and lower (where it turns into 3 planks and 2 sticks)
7:15 I don't think this is a bug, just lag. You can see him click with the bucket a millisecond after. If you look bottom left. I think whoever added the zoom effect also knew this, but wanted to hide the accidental scroll by zooming in. Still, unless we had a keylogger it's impossible to know for sure. Just the fact that there is a zoom (one of the few edits of the video), makes me think it's not a bug.

I genuinely thought ghosts just had a 1 tile big hitbox because I spent 10 minutes reflecting fireballs back and every single one went straight through and I’m just now finding out it’s a rare glitch, thanks game.
For the turning gold into nugget thing if you swap items and drop at the same frame you get ghost items and I have a hypothesis that he Shift clicked and crafted for 2 more frame perfect inputs so that it thought it was still gold but it was a gold block and the shift click went to the gold block in the inventory so had crafted and didnt craft at the same time

@@nhilz I had a time where I died of fall damage in the middle of the ocean once. Was just swimming and suddenly it was like all the water didn't exist and I fell to my death (after it happened a few times where I lived but then nearly drowned)
that second one isn't actually a glitch, ghasts are immune to their own fireballs for a brief period of time after shooting them
4:00 I'm confused about this one. It showed the (kind of) secret death message, "... experienced kinetic energy...", which only shows if the player hits a wall at high speeds while flying on an elytra. But there he wasn't going fast, and he didn't look like he was flying an elytra either.
what happened i believe is he had just switched to flying, and the game did weird things with dragon knockback and the fact he was flying and decided he flew into a wall at high speeds

4:12 im assuming his trying to use the water to null the tnt explosion but ended up placing the water on the side of the pressure plate instead of above the tnt?
Yep, he didn't cover all the tnt so the one he didn't cover caused the rest of the tnt to explode. Not really a glitch, just bad luck.
I can explain why this is a glitch. First of all, the pressure plate is supposed to break if there is no non-TNT full block directly underneath it. If you look closely, there was no full block under it, but the pressure plate stays. Not only this, but when he noticed that the TNT started going off, he tried to cover it in water, which would result in the TNT not setting of the other TNT, or break any blocks. But when he placed the water, the water wouldn't flow towards the primed TNT, indicating that the game still thought the block under the pressure plate was there.
the ender pearl curve could be useful, if it works on the newest version
