Thanks for the index of epic moments. Technically the arrow velocity didn't matter, it's a crossbow arrow. It was only to tag the fantoms as shot. The explosion finished the job directly, but I guess both being in the same tick meant that this actually worked.

my favorite thing about this TAS specifically, like compared to every other TAS i've seen, is that this one innately shows the human effort put into creating one of these things- like for other simpler games it can look so flawless that it just looks like a robot's playing the game (even though that's not the case) and it can make it easy to forget that the TAS is a creation a human person made- but with this, there's very human-like behavior behind a lot of the movements, mostly through the way the camera moves, it's very smooth and flowing, like people normally play minecraft- if i didn't know what a TAS was, i'd probably guess that this was some superhuman that already knows everything about the run playing-, with perfect reaction times, infinite knowledge, and a will to push the game to its absolute limit, which honestly is _much_ closer to what a TAS is in the first place than "oh it's just a computer playing it"
There’s a good reason for this, TASes in most games rely on recording inputs for each frame and replaying them in real time, while Minecraft TASes are closer to playing a very slowed down version of it (obviously there are savestates but still). Essentially these TASes are inputs made live by a human, thus the movements might seem natural.
I still won’t probably ever think it’s not a robot playing, with how sped up everything is- to me rlly I think it sorta defeats the purpose if you slow things down just to save minor input mistakes and bcs when you do that then you’re actually rlly sacrificing time irl, so in technical terms, wouldn’t it not be a true 1 hour run if for the fact of more time spent in slow mo making those pixel perfect inputs eating away at the real time ??? It’s just crazy to believe that it’s all a human to me, and to speed up sections jus bcs it was slowed down to make the insane impossible inputs on the fly
I love how it almost looks like a normal run (apart from inven management and building which is always insane) and just slowly descends into crazier and crazier shenanigans. My favourite one that got me really paying attention to the run was when he pulled out the tnt to launch his ender pearl perfectly to the ship. So much glorious blast physics abuse in this run!
This would be great for a commentated video. There's a lot of in-depth stuff going on that I probably didn't even notice. Even uncommentated this is insane.
Yeah, this is sick even without explanation, but with some commentary or just some text that would tell what's going on at all times would probably bring so much more to this.
@@bsHugootrue but the way he just comes out of nowhere on this one man (spider) just feels uncalled for lol. Out of all the spawners he probably passed, he made a straight up U-Turn to kill that guy like he owed him money 😂
at 11:26 that tnt fishing rod tactic to get fishes n the trident is legit so cleannn wtf 😭😭 ain't never seen that in all my years of playin minecraft 👏🏽
This is so Incredible. A true testament to Speedrunning, TAS and the game in general. I somehow truly enjoyed every bit of this video. There were so many moments i audibly gasped at the sheer genius and impressiveness possible with TAS. The Editing is also really great in the video, the music is spot on and the segment with extra info is really cool as well. I can really tell how much this game, community and run mean to you. Thank you for this... Truly awe-inspiring....
The time gap at the end means that there's a hypothetical future where they add enough advancements that a TAS takes LONGER than an hour, and at that point, the TRUE optimization can begin!
I love the information notifications, not only do they not distract from the gameplay but they also help inform the newbies on what this is. not to mention it’s edited very well too
ive always enjoyed TAS runs more than real speedruns because of just the sheer awe they put me in. all the crazy strats, absurd movement optimizations, all constructed from months of work. like the crazy elytra flicks to keep the lead in tact, the nutty arbalistic setup, the tnt pearl cannon in the end to get to the ship faster. all the small things too that just add up to be such a beautiful display of pure unfiltered speed. tldr; this is so hot
Love the part where the music syncs with the location, like when creator's chorus plays right as you enter the trial chamber and pigstep plays when you're in a long nether trip
Here's my nice comment. :3 I enjoy watching a good TAS now and again, though they sometimes make my brain tired from the stimulation of trying to take it all in. One thing that genuinely wowed me in this entire video was learning that you can actually one-shot the Dragon and the Wither with the Mace. "Over-Overkill" is an apt name for the achievement for sure. Exceptional work, mate.
@@theworldmachineos7247 same, the game just doesn't feel worth playing without them. It'd be different if they did something like auto place mine cart systems but they haven't fixed any of that, and elytra is just the only viable option
Interesting coincidence that the 2 mobs that limited how fast the speedrun can be (phantoms and sniffers) were both from mob votes This was very fun to watch, I love when you can barely tell what's even happening because so much is being done at the same time
Really the only limiting factor is phantoms. Theoretically they could have done the sniffers earlier, but that’d just result in waiting longer for the phantoms, so there’s no point.
Absolutely amazing (and fitting) music curation! The music sync moments really just make the video that much better! Also, I love the little “tips” that pop up in the corner to explain very niche elements of strategy.
@@the_silent_one_ idk maybe... but like actually tho thats crazy that we both watched the same random video with 10k views, you commented on it, and i saw ur comment. its like seeing someone you know at the grocery store lol
Wow, I watched the whole thing start to finish, and it's quite possibly the most impressive thing I've seen in weeks or even months, truly incredible, thank you for making this
@@toymaster4041 i meant like when he starts , how speedrun works is that the timer won't start until you put inputs to your keyboard. and if phantoms spawns only after the world is an hour old , you can just either wait 1 to 10 seconds after the world generates. then the timer starts and the phantom should spawn at time 59:50-59:59 , correct me if im wrong though.
holy crap man, I amazed at just how complex and intricate everything in this TAS run is. I can really tell that tons of effort has been put into, amazing job!
To know the game with such intimate and niche knowledge that most don’t, to create tools for it that don’t exist yet, to put in all this effort for what basically amounts to just an hour’s worth of footage for a challenge few can and will ever pull off… This TAS Run in my eyes is one of the greatest shows of love to Minecraft, just as much as a human speedrun or a crazy build or some hours long retrospective. Be proud of your work, it is inspiring.

Idk why but this was the most exciting miencraft video WHILE being the most relaxing minecraft video i've ever watched. This is MAD impressive. Tassing this insane is crazy work!
i love TASes so much, especially runs with so much to do. seeing everything come together perfectly is so amazing, and knowing how much time and effort went into making them possible is too. every single moment in this run had a purpose, and the ways that some of the advancements are gotten i didn’t even know was possible. Every part of this TAS is incredible, and knowing that this is the limit for the speed at which you can do this makes it even more beautiful.
As with the previous one hour TAS, just an epic viewing experience. The music seemed to sync up with the actions on-screen at times, that enhanced my enjoyment. The entertainment/engagement factor per second is so dense with TAS runs, because you are viewing decision-making in fast-motion. Made to look natural. It's awesome to see a nonstop stream of win. Also just the simple pleasure of seeing Minecraft with flawless high frame rate and max render loading.
The amount of effort and planning for this run has to be unimaginable. Let alone performing it, finding the seed is soooo impressive! Glad to add this to my "deserves more than just a like" playlist, which has 6 videos right now.
This is insane. The setups to get multiple advancements at once were most impressive, like arbalistic and the dragon respawn. I didn't even know you could do caves and cliffs outside of the overworld. (Also love how this is actually the limit due to phantom spawning)
19:08 Dude, that Return to Sender + Uneasy Alliance combo was crazy 19:47 ...okay, holy crap this tops that There were so many cool moments in this TAS, I found myself chuckling at how perfect it all was. Things like launching an ender pearl with TNT and giving a dolphin fire resistance so you can drag it through the nether really exemplify this whole run. Also, excellent music choices. Good job!!
This TAS was absolutely stunning! Such an enjoyable watch, I hope this video makes it to hundreds of thousands of people because the effort you put in absolutely deserves a huge reception. Incredibly impressive work!
I literally just watched your last all advancements video a few days ago. What's the chance you just released a new one! I can really respect the time that goes into this. Great job on the vid!
It’s TAS runs like these that remind me why speedrunning is such an amazing thing to watch. The way everything falls into place - especially leading up to “How Did We Get Here?” - feels almost cinematic in nature. 10/10 run, imo
Thank you very much! I've watched your previous TAS over 50 some times and love it! Now, I'll be watching this video and enjoying it as much as the last one!
I finally watched the whole video. This entire video deserves its own place on my heart. That's an incredible piece of art that deserved every millisecond. I loved all your effort, and also the timming on the background music was CINEMA. TAS is so incredible and stunning, but this run wouldn't be possible without YOU. THANK YOU
All the little info about the run at the end was such a nice touch. 3 months put into this is an incredible amount of time to put into one thing, and while I'm no programmer, the fact you programmed all of tools yourself because of a lack of good ones is insane to me. This was so much fun to watch, and I thank you dearly for it ❤
This is the most impressive TAS run I’ve ever seen. Huge GGs, genuinely would’ve never thought this to be possible, especially after seeing the 1.16 run.
Incredible, Great run! (You can begin your elytra flight with only riptide tridents(No fireworks), and 11-gt cycles will make you fly even faster(press right button for 10gt and release for 1gt)) (But this strat don't save any time because the 1 hour limit, GG)
I've watched TAS content of other games, mostly Mario series. I don't think I've sat and watched a Minecraft TAS before, and certainly not one that ran for a full hour, but this was beautiful! I was continually transfixed by the way it moves, especially in flight, and it struck me several different times that all of these motions are extremely carefully choreographed by a human. I can't begin to imagine what it took to route this at all, let alone go about building it. Hats off to you, friend, masterful work!
Y'know, after so long watching Feinberg AA runs where the same strategies are used pretty much every time, it's a bit refreshing to see how creative TAS runs are. The use of TNT and the fishing rod in this one in particular, without fail, wowed me.
Totally agree. I will say Feinberg still amazes me. A TAS end speedrun is like 30 seconds while WR is 7 minutes, while a TAS AA is 1 hour and feinberg takes only double the time. He is as close to TAS as humanly possible.
This is just incredible to watch. Such an insanely impressive and wonderfully entertaining TAS run. Honestly a true testament to the Minecraft community's dedication to and appreciation of the game. The love, time, and effort you put into this really shows, from the run itself to the editing, music, and information pop ups in the right corner (which I absolutely adore). Huge congrats on this!
Holy crap this was so interesting and entertaining. I'm unbelievably impressed at the amount of game knowledge and technical talent this would take to produce. Fantastic job!
This was absolutely incredible to watch. A masterpiece on all fronts, I was completely ensnared the whole way through. Additionally, commendations on your editing, the little tool tips appearing in the corner like the Minecraft ones do was such a cool touch, and I LOVE how a couple of the songs have their drop synced up with you doing something awesome. Absolutely one of my favorite TASes to date. Kudos to you, my friend.

Thanks for the index of epic moments. Technically the arrow velocity didn't matter, it's a crossbow arrow. It was only to tag the fantoms as shot. The explosion finished the job directly, but I guess both being in the same tick meant that this actually worked.
The 40:45 one, for a sec i was thinking the TAS was trolling lol

my favorite thing about this TAS specifically, like compared to every other TAS i've seen, is that this one innately shows the human effort put into creating one of these things-
like for other simpler games it can look so flawless that it just looks like a robot's playing the game (even though that's not the case) and it can make it easy to forget that the TAS is a creation a human person made-
but with this, there's very human-like behavior behind a lot of the movements, mostly through the way the camera moves, it's very smooth and flowing, like people normally play minecraft-
if i didn't know what a TAS was, i'd probably guess that this was some superhuman that already knows everything about the run playing-, with perfect reaction times, infinite knowledge, and a will to push the game to its absolute limit, which honestly is _much_ closer to what a TAS is in the first place than "oh it's just a computer playing it"
There’s a good reason for this, TASes in most games rely on recording inputs for each frame and replaying them in real time, while Minecraft TASes are closer to playing a very slowed down version of it (obviously there are savestates but still). Essentially these TASes are inputs made live by a human, thus the movements might seem natural.
@@ziem24 Wait, there was a real human doing this gameplay??
@@MoonriseMysteryplaying in slow motion and while retrying sections over and over until it goes right, but yes.
@@SenrabMJam That's cool. I thought it was just programmed to do those specific inputs, but this seems like it took way more time. Very impressive!
So much glorious blast physics abuse in this run!
i was in awe. so cool. in what world is that ever a viable strat that someone sets it up
or how right before that, they seemingly throw an enderpearl out into the void, so that the pearl hits the end gate as it spawns.
not all jerky movements but smooth and human like ☻
This would be great for a commentated video. There's a lot of in-depth stuff going on that I probably didn't even notice.
Even uncommentated this is insane.
Yeah, this is sick even without explanation, but with some commentary or just some text that would tell what's going on at all times would probably bring so much more to this.

Thank you so much! It means the world
Wow
The time gap at the end means that there's a hypothetical future where they add enough advancements that a TAS takes LONGER than an hour, and at that point, the TRUE optimization can begin!
I've never tought 1.21 AA would be a exact 1:00:00 run. I watched evry second crazy run. Thanks that you let us see that insane run!
I love the information notifications, not only do they not distract from the gameplay but they also help inform the newbies on what this is. not to mention it’s edited very well too
Same, I love how they take the form of the actual notification message you sometimes see
Yeah that was pretty cool
ive always enjoyed TAS runs more than real speedruns because of just the sheer awe they put me in. all the crazy strats, absurd movement optimizations, all constructed from months of work. like the crazy elytra flicks to keep the lead in tact, the nutty arbalistic setup, the tnt pearl cannon in the end to get to the ship faster. all the small things too that just add up to be such a beautiful display of pure unfiltered speed.
tldr; this is so hot
also the fact that this ends in Sweet Dreams achievement is insane to me. its just makes it so poetic and i love it.
Love the part where the music syncs with the location, like when creator's chorus plays right as you enter the trial chamber and pigstep plays when you're in a long nether trip
4:07 BRO 💀 YOU SO RIGHT
11:20 15:34
And "Alpha" (the credits song) playing right at the end of the run.
The music at around 24 mins sounds like slime rancher music and hes slaying slimes like 5 secs later but it might just be the trials update music
And strad at 19:47
Here's my nice comment. :3
I enjoy watching a good TAS now and again, though they sometimes make my brain tired from the stimulation of trying to take it all in. One thing that genuinely wowed me in this entire video was learning that you can actually one-shot the Dragon and the Wither with the Mace. "Over-Overkill" is an apt name for the achievement for sure. Exceptional work, mate.
This is incredible!! The fastest way possible since fantoms cant spawn earlier... Every second was worth watching!!
“Hey man, don’t rush to the end, we just started the server and wanna take our time-“
_that one guy the very second he joins_
that's me tho like I fucking just rush elytras I'm sorry I just cannot live without them 😭😭
@@theworldmachineos7247 same, the game just doesn't feel worth playing without them. It'd be different if they did something like auto place mine cart systems but they haven't fixed any of that, and elytra is just the only viable option
@@JimMilton-ej6ziThen there's me. Who needs the dragon to make lingering potions, and suffers when someone kills the dragon without me knowing.
@@dullish988 Flying machines can be used to obtain an elytra without killing the dragon
@@dullish988 i dont kill the dragon i just get a bunch of leaves and an ender chest

Interesting coincidence that the 2 mobs that limited how fast the speedrun can be (phantoms and sniffers) were both from mob votes
This was very fun to watch, I love when you can barely tell what's even happening because so much is being done at the same time
Really the only limiting factor is phantoms. Theoretically they could have done the sniffers earlier, but that’d just result in waiting longer for the phantoms, so there’s no point.

this speedrun is wild because there is literally no physical way to do it faster. like congratulations. you just won the category.
yeah phantoms only spawn after one hour of playthrough , making it unbeatable, *besides the 0.5 seconds*
@@vynxibedd its not even that, its 0.05 seconds, a single game tick, you cannot go faster unless phantoms spawned earlier.
@@clayton8or maybe wait for like a minute then you put the input , you'll get like 59 minutes. is that how it works?
@@vynxibedd No, he has to sleep after the phantoms spawn and not before, meaning he can't go any faster.
All that hurry just to have 8 minutes to look at the stars 😊
This is legitimately one of the most amazing and exiting videos I’ve ever watched. subbed
That beatdrop at 11:30 alongside the tnt fisbing rod trick is one of the most satisfying things ive seen and heard, love the celeste ost!
bro the 6 advancements with the 1 crossbow arrow was crazy
holy crap man, I amazed at just how complex and intricate everything in this TAS run is. I can really tell that tons of effort has been put into, amazing job!
To know the game with such intimate and niche knowledge that most don’t, to create tools for it that don’t exist yet, to put in all this effort for what basically amounts to just an hour’s worth of footage for a challenge few can and will ever pull off…
This TAS Run in my eyes is one of the greatest shows of love to Minecraft, just as much as a human speedrun or a crazy build or some hours long retrospective. Be proud of your work, it is inspiring.

i love TASes so much, especially runs with so much to do. seeing everything come together perfectly is so amazing, and knowing how much time and effort went into making them possible is too. every single moment in this run had a purpose, and the ways that some of the advancements are gotten i didn’t even know was possible. Every part of this TAS is incredible, and knowing that this is the limit for the speed at which you can do this makes it even more beautiful.
The ender pearl into the first end gateway followed by a tnt pearl launch onto the ship was incredible
Also just the simple pleasure of seeing Minecraft with flawless high frame rate and max render loading.
just to put this in perspective, this guy finished the end fight and looted 2 cities before his fire res potion from the piglins wore off

This is such a beautiful project! I can't imagine how you feel having all of that behind you. That dolphin ride is the coolest thing ever.
The last 4 minutes are kinda beautiful. Like a person who knows life is almost over and has decided to accept that gracefully.
The dedication this community shows to the thing that they love makes me never lose faith in humanity
10:50 is clean af good job + timed with music
All the little info about the run at the end was such a nice touch. 3 months put into this is an incredible amount of time to put into one thing, and while I'm no programmer, the fact you programmed all of tools yourself because of a lack of good ones is insane to me. This was so much fun to watch, and I thank you dearly for it ❤
This is the most impressive TAS run I’ve ever seen. Huge GGs, genuinely would’ve never thought this to be possible, especially after seeing the 1.16 run.
This was insane, the time and dedication that this run took was amazing, just 1 hour planned in 3+ months, crazy
this is so cool; congrats on having all your hard work pay off! and thank you for making this! (btw i love the info snippets in the top right)
Incredible, Great run!
(You can begin your elytra flight with only riptide tridents(No fireworks), and 11-gt cycles will make you fly even faster(press right button for 10gt and release for 1gt))
(But this strat don't save any time because the 1 hour limit, GG)
What’s a gt-cycle
@@adonisdaou7772 I imagine they're game tick cycles but Idk what that means
The boat nether portal thing is so satisfying every time
The amount of effort put into making all the mods and whatnot is insane! Good job!
Hats off to you, friend, masterful work!
here before this blows up. can't imagine how LONG this took
3 months
one hour duh
Are you serious?…. One…. One hour…
@@nicoschmidt7618"double the time" is NOT the case on 1.21 lol he takes 6 hours
There should be TAS runs where they just invent tricks tbh
This is just incredible to watch. Such an insanely impressive and wonderfully entertaining TAS run. Honestly a true testament to the Minecraft community's dedication to and appreciation of the game. The love, time, and effort you put into this really shows, from the run itself to the editing, music, and information pop ups in the right corner (which I absolutely adore). Huge congrats on this!
Holy crap this was so interesting and entertaining. I'm unbelievably impressed at the amount of game knowledge and technical talent this would take to produce. Fantastic job!
This video was an absolute masterpiece, the music, and the actual TAS was amazing. Well done.
Kudos to you, my friend.
it is a pity that few people have seen such work (so far), I really liked it, I wish you further success :)
9:19 Ignored diamonds for redstone 😭😭🙏🙏
honestly hurt me to see
Bruh he got no time for that
Etho would be proud
I thoroughly enjoyed this video it takes me back into the days of Minecraft before the hunger bar how far we've come shout out to Colin you a real one
Seeing achievements like two by two come together over the course of the whole video is fascinating
