I just LOVE these lessons and the teacher and a great storyteller 🙏🏻 The narration and message very clear. Also, the editing and overall quality of the final video is amazing! P.s. I really started to like these little music beats between the sections. My jam!
Always enjoy when i get the notification of a new video from New Fly Fisher.. Great educational video, especially since i like streamers and the river in the video describes the one i fish perfectly.
Great video and he covered it all - one thing I have found is leaving your streamer at the end of the swing for a moment or two . Then pull up stream and let it fall back . At times they hit it while it’s just sitting at the end of the drift and swing
I like this format . I will say that animation of the fly with the rid tip is critical in streamer presentations. Match your retrieve speed to water temps, as well as change your color If you aren't moving fish. Good productive colors are white black and olive. Yellow can be deadly as well. Small streams I tend to downsize and mute the colors . Also, small streams a floating line with weights flies can be deadly. 9 foot leader to a dumbell eye fly.
Greetings from The Emerald Isle,🇨🇮🇨🇮🇨🇮 love your videos, what rod, reel and line setup would recommend, fishing for wild river brown trout, and stocked lake rainbows
Hello Ireland, home of my ancestors! Either a six or seven weight rod is ideal, a weight forward floating line, and a decent quality reel. If you cannot get more advice about fly lines choices for fishing lake rainbows and to learn more over, recommend you check out these playlists: ua-cam.com/play/PLsQO0O-cFD-uan_BT_j0VRcRWH7brhm9r.html and ua-cam.com/play/PLsQO0O-cFD-vPp6ICjsZj-ktM-zswosJu.html Hope this helps! I'm new to fly fishing, and in ohio I am pretty much fishing anything but trout because they're barely here. Streamer fishing seems the route for me. I have just been letting my flys I think it's called a wooly bugger get mangled and threads stretched out looking more streamer like and it's sinking. The bass and others have loved it. But I need real streamers so I have a bigger target for them to lock onto. I have been a hardcore fisherman my whole life and I am loving the fly rod, can't wait to try it on some trout and saltwater.
Excellent teacher, explained in simple, and easy to understand instructions
Glad you liked it

Give Erie a try for Steelhead because they love streamers . Ohio has good spring runs and nearby Pa. Has great fall runs
