Thanks Eoin, plenty of blanks, but also learning this season. Unfortunately I never got to blessington. I stayed around the Cavan/monaghan area. I did go and have a look at a few spots but never got a chance to get to them.
Hi ya Steve, new subscriber here, great vid, looking forward to watching the all the others, have you any footage of how you set up your underwater camera for ledger
Hi thanks for the sub. I have 3 different underwater cameras on this one. The one I find best for deadbait is the water wolf 2. I think I show my setup to that on episode 5 or 6. Basically is using the cameras own mount 50lb braid through the mount to a quick link and then a 40lb wire trace. If it gets snagged the weak point is the quick link which will pull straight. Allowing the camera to be retrieved. I also have the Westin escape cam and on this one I tried out a insta 360 underwater with the waterproof housing for the first time. That one is held on with float stops and a bead. Then weighted down with a 4oz lead. Again the weak point is the quick clip. If broke the rig will drop the lead and the camera will float to the surface.
Fantastic underwater footage
Thanks Frank 👍🏻
Great pike season💪

Thanks Karl, yeah I’ll be filming my carp sessions.
Steve that lake is known for dropped runs
I've had a few dropped runs from it now Matt. it's a busy water so they are probably very wide to baits. 😉
