Cheers Duncan, Great to meet you as well. The video from Mill Lodge is going live tonight from 6pm if you want to take a look. Cheers ua-cam.com/video/pSoZKbOOvVA/v-deo.html
Have you tried halibut pelets or carp pellet. The fish are reared on them and they make an excellent bait on my local carp waters in hampshire. Pellet under a loaded waggler up in the water catches loads of carp when they are cruising like that even large fish. Keep working at it. A red letter day is just around the corner im sure
It’s a slow one alright. Seems some lakes have gone and some are no where near going yet. It’s a strange one weather wise. Feels like it’s been constant northerly winds since April.
With the amount of bird life in the lakes, bread is a non runner I’m afraid. You’d be hooked into a PB swan or goose within minutes of it hitting the water.
Hope you enjoy this one lads. It was a hard session but there was some learning in it.
Great video man, good to meet you on Friday

It might be something I’ll try the next time I’m up there. 👍🏻

Hang in there 😂
All these hard sessions will make the 30lber feel all the better when I do hit it.
Get yourself up to Tildarg Steve
It’s on the list Donny. Bit of a trek for me but I’ll have definitely fished all NICAS lakes before the end of the summer.
