Miss Penelope, I found you through Miss Julie on Camelia Craft Designs. I follow a lot of people on making junk journals along with mini booklets, tags, pockets and such. So, seeing you and listening to you talk about new things and making the pocket booklets for your family members with pictures and ephemera just blew me away on how you made all the pockets and booklets are so beautiful. You did a beautiful job on all your projects. Seeing your knitting is amazing too. I am not good, I always drop stitches and just mess up, so I gave it up. I do like cross stitching and made lovely things and gave mine away but, I have a Santa Claus that I made, and it is my pride and joy. Now that I have found you through Miss Julie, you are on my favorite list so I will see you when you post a new video. You are a lovely person with a very kind heart and a beautiful soul. Hi Rose Marie, Thank you for those lovely well wishes. My daughter is the same, she would love to knit but too many stitches on the needle. However, she loves to crochet which I don't do. It's a joy to give things away but also great to hold on to one or two favourites. I have been knitting animals (earlier videos) and at the moment have 8. I was so touched by your talk of being thankful for comments and how good gratitude is for us, because I have so enjoyed YOUR comments back, and have appreciated how much time that must take for you. This vlog ranks right up near the top of positive experiences that came to be because of COVID. There is nothing else so genuine on-line. I have often thought it must be a drain to have so many people to respond to, and have almost felt guilty writing, for fear of causing you more work. Now that I am almost caught up my notes won't be so frequent, but I hope you know that I am so thankful for the pleasant time crafting while listening to you and would understand when life gets in the way and there just isn't time for all of us. 💕

You have really embraced this new craft with gusto! I loved that you've made memory books, taking bits and pieces of relevant books, or actual papers from your parent's desk. Makes it so personal. I was thinking as you opened up all the flaps and envelopes that this might be a fun way to give a gift of money to a child. Imagine how excited you would be to find a pound note or even movie tickets or gift cards tucked in.

Ahh, George is precious🤗. Of course you should go spend the day as often as possible! Another thing to be grateful for, transportation. Imagine walking or driving and suddenly that train sounds like a blessing.
I agree with everything you said about being grateful. whenever I can, I try to give positive feedback or do something nice for others. It might be the only kind thing that person encounters in the day. So.much more productive than grumbling at them.

Hi Karen, What a good idea, a little bit of cash tucked away. The cardigan is finished not damp as I showed you and looks great. I will be having Tommy in the next few days as his mum Lois had to go in for an emergency op, gnye, so Tommy has been with his two nans and I have been asked! What a treat. Pete was brought up by his mum's sisters who all lived close by and I think Tommy will be the same, on a woman's wavelength! You're right about the train. I loved it this week and intend going soon. Dear Penelope, Oh my goodness! I just popped in to see you, because I’m a huge follower of Julie’s! She mentioned you & said how much she loves to listen to you talk! I agree, you are an absolute delight! Where in the UK do you live? I love all the different accents & expressions that all of you have! I live in Lawrence Kansas, smack dab in the middle of the US! I lived in Cambridge (England!) for a year, when I was 6 years old way back in 1963. Even though that was practically the age of dinosaurs, I remember so many things so clearly! I came back with a lovely accent, but the other children at school made fun of me, chanting “Erica-America”, so I lost it as fast as I could… I wish I had that accent now! My favorite memory was a pair of blue “real” leather shoes my mom bought me. They had laces, maybe like an Oxford shoe? At any rate, I wore them to bed that night, because I loved them that much! Silly, right?! I wish I had a photo to go with that memory! Your little journals are so wonderful, I think I need to think about making those for my family, too! And those 12x12” paper pockets are wonderful, just so long as you don’t cut off the wrong piece! It’s so nice to “meet” you & I’ve subscribed, so I’ll be checking in again, soon! Take good care!
