it's a Fretwrap. The one that he's using is a Gruv Gear Fretwrap. I love mine. Its to dampen or mute the strings slightly. It does an amazing work. 100% recommended!
Fair enuff lol. I personally would just put on a pitch shifter and switch back and forth. If you use an amp modeler or multi effects pedal of course. Either way wicked playing
