  • In today's video I will be doing a new first time reaction and analysis for Cinderella - Shake Me. "Shake Me" by Cinderella is a high-energy rock song characterized by its catchy guitar riffs, driving rhythm, and anthemic chorus. With its upbeat tempo and infectious melody, the song exudes a sense of excitement. Lyrically, it encourages listeners to break free. The powerful vocals and dynamic instrumentation contributes to the song's overall energetic and empowering vibe, making it a quintessential anthem of the glam metal era. Enjoy the glamorous image of bands in that period as Cinderella did not fail to represent, with the flashy, big hair, heavy make up, infectious melody, Guitar Virtuosity, larger than live presentation and iconic/thematic music video. Easily, a fan favorite. "Shake Me" by Cinderella was released in 1986 as part of their debut album "Night Songs." This was during the height of the glam metal or "hair metal" era, which spanned the 1980s and early 1990s. Watch my raw and insightful reactions to this masterpiece!

Definitely the greatest and most underrated band of the 80s IMO, they weren't a, hair band, just a kick ass rock n roll band 🤘🤘seen Cinderella 3 time's and Tom keifer alone with his band 6 time's now. Had him sign my acoustic guitar 8 year's ago, got to meet him at the jewel night club in Manchester NH when he played there. Awesome voice still, even after the vocal chord surgeries. Go down the rabbit hole of Cinderella and his solo band. You will not be disappointed.

I'm an original Cinderella fan back in the 80s. Back then, Cinderella wasn't viewed as highly as they are today. I'd like to think that's partly due to my efforts of blasting best of Cinderella music mix's while driving up and down the San Diego 8; but, maybe I'm being a little bit over myself or something!

1986, San Francisco. I was nearly crushed to death by daring to stand at the barrier when Cinderella opened for DLR on his first solo tour. (I was there to see Cinderella and Billy Sheehan and Steve Vai. F Roth.) And here, almost 40 years later, a very nice young lady with a gorgeous necklace and hair to match finds that she takes to this song much as I did all those years ago. These reactors def give new life to tired old rags, and what fun it is! (BTW, Keifer reportedly wrote this song in five minutes on his mother's porch. That's really not so hard to believe, is it?) Enjoyed your video, young lady!

Metal was taboo, people would judge you harshly. I was there. It was awesome and people looked down on me so what! It’s awesome to see young people hear our old music and appreciate it. There was a real competition thing with them Jersey Boys wildly teased hair and those Philly dogs like Tom. The drumming holds this song together nicely, like John Bonham's sound. I went to see Poison and Ratt with three girlfriends of mine and I had to carry one out, she was dehyrated from whiskey. 80s were fun, 70s were better because of rock, disco, and legit radio talent.
I was voted best rocker hair in my senior year of 1985.
