Tom Keifer is truly an underrated singer and Cinderella is truly an underrated band from the 80s. My favorite band growing up, a lot of their song's were amazing. Awesome reaction to this. If you really liked this check out, don't know what you got til it's gone. Another hit from them. My personal favorite is, fallin apart at the seams, it has an intro to it called, bad seamstress blues. That is truly my favorite from them though
Thanks for sharing
Absolutely
They were slightly unlucky on timing. Talented. Tom's the real deal.
My favorite band of all time is Cinderella. We saw Cinderella play a club in 1993, and about five years ago, we saw Tom do his set here in Oklahoma from backstage. My wife got one of his picks from the performance.
Also, here is a cool acoustic version. ua-cam.com/video/fAGditd83yY/v-deo.htmlsi=SYd5WjpLHx5Tj1QB
You will love Cinderella live at Moscow Music Peace Festival-89, with the song "Gypsy Road". Tom's intro-singing is amazing!😊
Thanks so much for sharing
I was thinking the same thing. When they do this song and he sings "I scream my heart out..." Chills!
I love when they play “nobody’s fool” in Moscow and the bass player plays guitar so they can perform the harmonized guitar solo live
CINDERELLA is the most underrated rock band ... They are awesome in concert
🥰
"I SCREAAAMM my heart out!"
Gives me chill. Conveys all the emotions out.
🌺
내사랑 얼굴도 예쁘고 미소는 천사같아
Thanks so much
In my opinion, one of the best bands from the 1980's. Tom Keifer is so criminally ignored. He's genius.
Thanks for sharing
I was in junior high then. The 80s were the best! Music of our Youth.😝❤
🥰🥰🥰
Brings back lot of memories watching MTV in the 1980s as a teen. This song had heavy airplay. The rock ballads were the most popular back then
🥰
Aaliyia, I promise you, if you liked "Nobody's Fool", you should give Cinderella's "Don't Know What You Got Till It's Gone." I give you my word you will not be disappointed. This one may actually have you shed a tear. It is that strong
Thanks for all the recommendation💕
Tom Keifer's voice is PHENOMENAL. 80’s music was the best! Great reaction video. 💛
😍😍😍
I like that song
🥰🥰🥰
U can see references to the 'Cinderella' faerie tale w/ the clocks ("Five minutes to midnight" ... the spell ends at midnight for Cinderella)
Cinderella was formed in the 80's by Tom Keifer (vocals & guitar) and Eric Brittingham (bass) in Philly, PA... Keifer wrote the songs and the band was finally signed in 1986 as Jeff LaBar (guitar) joined and recorded their debut album 'Night songs'... Fred Coury (drums) joined as a member (but only played drums on 1 record - 'Heartbreak station' in 1990) ... Cinderella opened for Bon Jovi on a massive tour as 'Night songs ' sold 3 million copies in the US w/ hits like "Shake me"... "Nobody's fool" and 'Somebody save me'... airing on MTV.
However, Keifer was frustrated that Cinderella was judged by their image rather than their music... 2nd album 'Long cold winter' was released w/ a white cover and few band photos... it became another 3x platinum hit w/ the singles - 'The last mile'... 'Gypsy road'... "Don't know what you got (til it's gone)"... 'Coming home' 🔥🔥🤘🤘
In 1990, Cinderella recorded the album 'Heartbreak station' w/ more blues and country influences and stripped away their "big 80's" sound, hoping to get more musically serious... The album sold platinum, but the band ended their tour in 1991 after Tom Keifer experienced vocal problems and required surgery... After a long delay, Cinderella returned in 1994 w/ 'Still climbing'... but it would be their last studio album.
Nineties grunge rock had decimated their career and the band split up by 1996. Tom Keifer would undergo more vocal surgeries over decades to restore his voice.
In 1998, the original Cinderella reunited to tour and released a live album... but a new studio album never materialized. They would tour occasionally but disappeared after 2014, citing internal dissent... Tom Keifer began a solo career soon after.
Sadly, Cinderella guitarist Jeff LaBar passed away in 2021 after years of alcohol abuse (R.I.P.)
Oh thanks so much for taking the time to share, much appreciated
80s were the best!
🥰🥰🥰
You need to check out the live version when they went to Moscow. Amazing amazing!!!!
Thanks so much🥰🥰🥰
His raspy vabrato always impressed me and he lands so softly from it
Where do I begin? The year was 1986 and a this ushered what was to be known as the continuation of glam metal and an awesome birth of a power ballad. Cinderella would later top themselves, in 1988, with the piano driven nerve chiller You Don't Know What You've Got Til It's Gone. The vocal by Mr. Keifer is even better.
Thanks so much for sharing
💯 Percent 😉
Right on Capili! You manage to tap into some bands and music that are not known by the generations.Your observation is right on ! I admire your vocal and music sensibility.
Oh thanks so much 🥰
Love your reaction and your opinion on this great song and band😊 Thanks!
This brings back the memories!
🥰🥰🥰
You have a beautiful voice ❤
I ❤ Tom Keifer (lead singer to Cinderella). He has this raspy yet amazing vocals. 😊
You should listen to Slaughter, similar sound. You'd probably like Fly to the Angels.
Thanks for your recommendations
Skid Row - 18 and Life would be a good one. Sounds like this
Thanks for the recommendation
Awesome
🥰🥰🥰
Hey you did one of my recommendations! Their song "Don't Know What You Got til it's Gone" is a very powerful sad song.
Thanks for always sharing and for your recommendations💕
Walang anuman :)
I'm in love again!
🥰
This band was phenomenal…saw them in 1992,…
Thanks for sharing
Your reaction was beautiful and you are a fantastic singer yourself🎉
Oh thanks so much for your kind words💕
Steel Heart " I'll never let you go " if you haven't seen or heard yhis song by Steel heart? Little lady it is worth the look! Warning, prepare for your jaw to hit the floor and good luck picking it back up! Yhe lead singer was classically trained like you❤
Thanks for sharing
Must see.....the man has an amazing voice
One of my favorite songs from my youth ha ha. Great reaction. Yes he has a fairly unique voice on his belts.
😍😍😍
Cinderella has a lot of great songs. Somebody save me ,shack me , gypsy road
Thanks for your recommendations
Have a look at 'Heartbreak Station', classic ballad fron Cinderella
Thanks so much for your recommendation
Wow haven't heard this song in years, and I remember the lyrics better than everything I learned in high school.
🥰🥰🥰
Cinderella is a great Rock blues band. I saw them a few times back in the 80’s and the Tom Kiefer solo a few years ago. He still has it. 🤘🏼🎸🔥
So cool, thanks for sharing
And Cinderella kicks the 💩 out of bon jovi, any day!!🎸🤘😝🤟
🥰
Cinderella is really interesting because of the way their music evolved across their first three albums. The first album was mostly formulaic hair metal, it was good formulaic hair metal, but formulaic hair metal nonetheless. After that they started to incorporate a lot more blues influence into their second album and by their third album they almost sounded like something that can only be described as hard Aerosmith
First album had to me big AC/DC influences, 2nd one (and best for me) added blues and from 3rd on with added country influences...🤓
Thanks so much for sharing your insights much appreciated
Great reaction. I loved that look on your face once that first chorus came in. :)
Thank you!! 😁
Nothing like a little hair metal to put things in perspective. Cool tune! Loved your reactions Aaliyah! See you next time Cutie! 🔥🔥🔥🔥💋💋💋💋🦊🦊🦊🦊❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Thank you! You too!🌺♥️🌺♥️🌺
Saw them open up for the scorpions in Germany in 1990
🥰🥰🥰
One of the very best hair bands, they really could play and rocked out when I saw them. For another of their very best songs, try Long Cold Winter, A great tune you will love. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎸🎶
Thanks for sharing
This is the definition of what we doctors call: "an
instant favorite song"
🥰
I love this song. I'm glad you chose it and thanks for posting it.
My pleasure! And thanks so much for watching♥️
Loved that you listened to this one. It was their best song in my opinion. I was lucky to be a teen in the 80's when this song came out. BUT, i have the PERFECT Song for you to react to "SCORPIONS - STILL LOVING YOU" 🎧💙🙏🏼if you have never heard it, it will surely turn into a favorite
I remember when this came out and I saw this tour with Bon Jovi and they blew them away. Tom Kiefer is not only a powerful singer but holds his own on guitar. The one thing that hurt them with the rock metal community was the image and the name they chose. You didn't see Cinderella patches on denim vest back then
Anyway I just wanted to say I enjoy your wide eyed enthusiasm and smile that you have on during your reaction videos and you look alot like a girl who was my nieghbor of mine. Very cute just like you. Continue enjoying your musical journey as we will enjoy watching you. 🤘🎸🥁🎤
Oh thanks so much for your kind words and appreciation, thanks for sharing too
I remember rushing to get this album when it came out I think in 86 and it lived in my Sony Walkman it was one of a few 80s metal albums that got me through some tough times as a teenager.
🥰🥰🥰
Good choice. Bon Jovi makes a cameo in a few of their videos. Check out more w/ Don't Know What You've Got (Till It's Gone) & Gypsy Rose.
Also, check out Great White - Rock Me, Lady Red Light, &/or Once Bitten, Twice Shy.
Thanks so much for sharing
Skid Row I remember you is another good one.
Thanks for sharing
I'm glad you enjoyed the music. Love the way Tom Kiefer sings. Back in 2013, he came out with a solo album, "The Way Life Goes." I think the whole album is good. Hopefully, next from Cinderella, "Dont Know What You've Got (Till It's Gone)." Cant wait for more and as always, great reation.
Thanks so much and thanks for the info!
@@AaliyahCapili you're welcome 😊
They got a lot of good song listen to shake me 😊
Thanks for the recommendation
Steelheart-i'll never let her go
🥰
nice reaction
Thanks so much
Tom Kieffer never gets the credit he deserves. When I heard that his vocal cords were paralyzed in the late 90's and he had to stop singing, I was crushed. Thankfully, he was able to work around it to get back to close to his original form.
Thanks for your inspired reaction to this song! I saw Cinderella open for David Lee Roth back in 1986. They are an excellent live band. Lead singer Tom Keifer has been a significant influence on Lzzy Hale of Halestorm. Maybe you will react to a Halestorm song someday.
Thanks for the recommendation
Lead singer Tom Keifer some years ago damaged either vocal cord or his larynx or something like that, and thought he'd never sing again. But finally he recovered and I think he's still singing today
Thanks for sharing the info
I recommend reacting to their song "Don't know what you got till it's gone"
Thanks for sharing
The bass player had the best hair
Hell ya! Love this and " NIGHT SONGS"... "SAVE ME"... 👍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks so much
I got this Album at home
Oh nice🥰
"Send me an angel" by the Scorpions ... Amazing vocals !
Thanks for your recommendation
Good song
🥰
Cinderella( Deeptrack) - In from the outside
😊
I love your reactions - your insight on vocals is really honest and informed! I have an out-of-this-world suggestion for you: "Hocus Pocus" by the band Focus. Trust me when I tell you that you will never in a million years anticipate the way the song goes, but you'll have a lot to say about the vocal performance! It's an experience you won't forget!
Thanks for your recommendation
Great reaction!! Love cinderrella!! But please react to joey tempest voice in final countdown song!!! Amazing tenor 80s voice from EUROPE band..greatimgs!! 😊
Greetings too, many thanks for sharing
*Cinderella's Singer transmitted the pain even 2 U★. ... I★ felt the pain too 💔
Thanks for sharing
This one brings me back. He has such a unique voice, Kiefer I think. The song is awesome and I'd suggest dipping in deeper with them.
Thanks for your recommendation
If you like this, also check out Def Leppard - Bringin on the Heartbreak.
It took your comment for me to realize how similar the melodies and chords are! Now I can't unhear it. RIP Steve Clark.
@@mariakooistra4331 A sad day. I was in Denver the night they filmed Pour Some Sugar On Me. One of the best nights and best concerts of my life. They played it twice in a row just to get the video right. Stephen was a master and extremely entertaining to watch. R.I.P. indeed. I saw them again the same year at Red Rocks in Denver. First time with Tesla, second time with Europe. Amazing!
@@davidd3948 What an incredible memory for you!
Thanks for sharing
Ah the hairbands. Kix, Great White , LA Guns there were many and they rocked the 80’s.
🥰
Beautiful Haunting Song 💜
Love Cinderella ❤️
They've always been in My Vast Music Collection 😏
If you like this song have a listen to "Don't Know What You Got 'til it's Gone" if you haven't already. It would be their Greatest Song and one of the Greatest Songs of all time in my opinion 😉 ❤️💜
Many thanks for sharing
Aaliyah! Great reaction!! Great to see people connect through music.
Thanks so much for watching too
I love Cinderella this song was always a fantastic classic and yes very fun to sing along to when alone lol (my Cat Lucy agrees). Thanks again for the amazing video Sis like always. 💖💝
Glad you enjoyed it♥️thank you too
Rainbow "Stargaze" with Ronnie James Dio will blow your mind.
😍😍😍
This is a pretty song I love the lyrics his voice is a masterpiece I love this band and their look is cool too I'm a sucker for 80s you rock
Thanks for sharing
Oh yeah forgot to say, that I truly love your reactions and facial, shows that you are totally open to learning new music and listening to it. That's the problem with people nowadays, they don't actually LISTEN to the music. If they did most people who are famous right now wouldn't be.... 80s and 90s and even 70s is where the real music is. Keep the video coming
Thanks so much🥰
This was a great choice for a reaction video! I'm glad to see you enjoyed this song with its classic '80s video (which often showed women running for no reason). Keep up the reaction videos. You are very good at this!
Thanks so much for your kind words♥️
Suggestion...Martika. "Toy Soldiers"
Thanks for the suggestion
First three Cinderella albums will get a spin now and then as long as I live. Great music and Tom Keifer´s voice is something you can´t be mistaken if you´d heard it. Catchy song indeed, a big hit back then and hasn´t lost it´s power to day. Good choice Aaliyah !
Thanks so much🥰
Nobody's fool is a jam. I've been a fool. Several times at least.
😊
🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
🥰🥰🥰
Mantap🔥 Cinderella band favorit aku😊
Thanks so much for sharing
Great reaction Aaliyah.
As you say that you admit suggestions, I'm going to propose you 3 sisters with classical music education that play in a Rock band called The Warning.
They've been playing for the last 10 years, and they're about your age!
All of them sing, and one of them does it with while beating the s. out of her drums haha
If you want to start with a beautiful song without any copyright issues, I suggest you 'The Warning - 23 Live at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 08/29/2022'.
It'll change your life for the better.
One more thing. Those girls are from Mexico, and sing mostly in English but they have a couple of songs in Spanish.
Cheers from Spain
Thanks for your recommendations
Check their remake of Enter Sandman, even Metallica gave them their blessing
I think you would really enjoy the band Savatage... Check out When The Crowds Are Gone and Summer's Rain
Thanks for your recommendation
Ajattara's song Lammas ('Lamb') from their acoustic Noitumaa album would be interesting. Their little bit never track Suru ('sorrow') could be little bit easier even it tells poetic way to losting yourself in to itself (how it should be said?).
You got good variety and you seemed to be open minded as it comes to art. I like that.
Thanks so much🥰
Springfield PA! My friend in highscool took guitar lessons from the orriginal guitar player before they got signed.
Oh so cook😍thanks for sharing
A great song, if you have the oportunity to listen Long Cold Winter. The best..
Thanks for the recommendation
You ought to try Vandenberg's "Wait" or "Burning Heart". AND maybe toss in some Tyketto. They are still together.
Thanks for sharing
How did you miss or not comment on the guitar flip the guitar player and bass player did when they spun it. So cool and hard to do without busting your head open
Oh sorry about that, thanks for the feedback
Obviously you enjoyed this song very much. I would suggest Heartbreak Station for you next review of Cinderella
Thanks for your recommendation
he f***** up his vocal strings doing that too :P
😊
Suggest doing more 80s. Great artists with a lot of vabrato and artistry . More so than today.
You may have to do a little research because there's so many . Striper or Warrant to name a few. ; )))
Thanks for your recommendations
Prettiest break up song ever.
Great reaction. Cinderella was awesome but they were sidelined a lot after their first 3 albums due to singer Tom Kiefer needing vocal chord surgeries several times. It didn't help that this was around the time grunge came in and decimated to whole hair-metal genre.
Thanks for the info🌺
I watched them perform live Rocky Glen Park Ghost town moosic Pennsylvania
Oh cool, thanks so much for sharing
You really really really need to see them perform that song live in Moscow from back then…. Just saying 👍
Thanks for the recommendation
"Heartbreak Station" and "Don't Know What You've Got ('Til It's Gone)" are worth a listen.
Thanks for the recommendations
Listen Giant - I'll see you in my dreams
Thanks for sharing
I wouldn’t say he’s adding harshness to his voice. That’s just his voice. Check out Shake Me or Somebody Save Me from the same album, they also have official videos (and are related, as I think this was the third in the series), and are energetic hard rock songs. You’ll hear how he usually sings, and how his voice is just naturally that way.
Oh thanks for your feedback
You might check a another band with a very talented singer, The Scorpions with "Send Me An Angel"
Thanks for the recommendation
Ciao Aaliyah! Complimenti per lo splendido video, sei meravigliosa, ti adoro 🥰❤️
Thanks super much always
Great song. Shake Me was big as well. When you gonna do Motley Crue Kick Start my Heart?
Thank you, not sure yet when but i wrote it in my list. Thanks so much
Hello dear Aaliyah. I recently received a recommendation from UA-cam, which I'm sure you might also like. Maybe you know the singer Jackie Evancho, if not, check out the two videos of her with the songs: Lovers and Angel. Wasn't really a fan of classical music before, but the two songs and especially her dedication and emotions totally fascinated me. As I said, I'm 100% sure you'll be thrilled too. Would also be very happy to see a reaction video from you to the songs, if you want to do that.
Best regards Daniel
Thanks so much for your recommendations Mr. Daniel
