Jeep J-20 1982 pickup : Restoration project episode 1

It's been a long time since the 1982 Jeep J-20 has felt the asphalt under the tires. Starting with this episode(1) Mr. Lawrence(original owner) will start to get the J-20 back in shape. She is a mess but well worth putting back together :)

my father had a collection of these....now my brother has a collection of these. managed to snag a j4000 though

probably the jem out of the 10+ j's we have. dad loved the full sized jeeps

Only diff between the j10 and j20 are the leaf springs in the rear, and the dana 60.. everything else is the same, frame, bed engines etc

Thanks for the info...I would have thought more then the springs and Dana 60 which make big difference but the j10 is a tough truck :)

@@laffilmfest3759 yes frame is the same thickness too.. So besides a dana 44 its litterally the same thing.
Maybe brakes ? Not sure. Im rebuilding my J10 on my channle. Entire bed floor was gone had to be cut out and built from scratch
