In today’s episode of their podcast , Caiah and Mpho again unpack topics in a way that is both honest and informative.
The podcast episode is split into four segments , with the first being a life update - Mpho comes back from with a few love interests and Caiah’s birthday ruined
In the second segment , Caiah and Mpho discuss a usually female-centric topic [ which can prove quite educational for both genders ] . Their topic of choice in this episode is : Birth control, its side effects and different reasons why women take birth control.
The third segment is a short game , in this episode they will be playing a more personal game (we’re not really strangers)
Finally, today’s main topic is the reality of toxic relationships - what do we define as a toxic relationship and our personal experiences in being in really toxic relationships

I feel like for me cheating is a deal breaker, because if you were to cheat on a guy , he would leave and wouldn't even think twice, so i feel like men just know their worth and with us women, we believe in second chances too much and sometimes some situations don't deserve second chances and forgivess because as much as i believe in second chances a leopard will never change it's spots. Thats why cheating is a dealbreaker for me

How I wish to be like, "I remember being in a toxic relationship" because I'm literally in a place where especially after this video I can officially confirm that my relationship isn't unhealthy it's toxic, as in I've prayed to God for signs, he gave me, I didn't listen, and I could say God came with a different approach and I heard Him, but now the love bombing that happened in the beginning of the relationship really did cloud my judgement of what love should be like, as their mentioned, so much that I'm still delaying putting an end to it because I feel like there's potential, "they did it then, they can change and do it now". But thank you so much to the ladies for acting on the Lord's prompting to start the podcast because it's motivating me to do better🙏🤍

I believe that toxic relationships turn the most innocent of "habits" into such bad things. I personally dont think theres anything wrong with partners sharing location, but once that access is given in a toxic relationship its bad and obsessive. I believe as individuals we should learn how to discern if the habit is bad or not. This also goes to the notion of carrying on trauma from your previous relationship into a new one. Where now youre not able to tell that this new guy isnt toxic and the notion of "all men" doesnt apply to him. Its very important that we cleanse ourselves of the toxicity after you leave a toxic relationship otherwise you yourself become toxic not only to your next partner but to yourself as well

The guy I dated from when I was 16 till I was 18 literally showed me flames 😭😭I really lost myself in that relationship and I was willing to sacrifice my happiness just to please him. When I got to university that's when I truly saw things differently and realized there is more out there for me and I should not be settling for a person who is constant bringing pain to me❤

i was once in a toxic relationship, whenever i tried breaking up with him, he would threaten to kill himself....and he knew how suicide was triggering to me based on my personal experience and used it to his advantage. For me to finally leave, when i broke up with him and he pulled the suicide card again and i forwarded all those messages to his family members, so they can deal with their child, cz i lowkey knew he was bluffing, but you can never be too sure.

But guys! I thought it was only my one friend and I in the whole Namibia who got dreams whilst in toxic relationships. Mine weren’t of cheating, but just about the toxicity of the relationship( 3 involving snakes ), that I would only fully clue in on later when it actually played out. When Caiah said ‘ thankfully I’m a spiritual person ‘ I said chiiiiile. And then when Mpho said she got Thoughtdigest in a dream I said Lord you are God. Guyyyys.
Now I just need to move differently so that these dreams inform me about business and career ventures not men😒

☢️☢️☢️⚠️⚠️⚠️With the cheating conversation, although it’s a rule breaker for some and it is not for others, I feel like no relationship can ever truly be the beautiful, intimate, safe space that it should be once cheating has happened.
Even if you stay, it won’t do you nor your partner any good because even if that partner is remorseful (and usually they are not) they will usually feel guilty and might end up self loathing while the partner that got cheated on holds resentment towards the cheater. Ultimately I THINK cheating is the end of one’s relationship even if you’re still in that relationship. It’s no longer the relationship you signed up for but a completely different thing that 90% of the time will not be rewarding to anyone involved.
I haven’t been to a gynae and I’ve never been on birth control I guess I’m not a girl 😭🤣
