Woop woop ! Episode 12 of Thought Digest !
In an episode that seems to have taken some of the weight off , in contrast to recent episodes with a significant amount of laughter.
In the usual swing of things, the hosts provide a personal life update - Mpho concludes a difficult exam season and reflects on the challenges in this season, and Caiah navigates being in a season of not feeling like herself.
Moving into the second segment, Caiah and Mpho have a light-hearted conversation about the feminine [fashion/beauty] trends they like and dislike. This topic is sure to include a number of hot takes !
The ladies play a game of “2 truths 1 lie” , where they share 3 statements about their lives , past or present, and the other has to guess which one of the statements is a lie. Expectedly , the game gives their audience more details about their favourite podcast hosts !
The focal point of today's discussion centers on Delayed Gratification : resisting the temptation of an immediate reward, in anticipation that there will be a greater reward later.
Needless to say , the ladies have interesting perspectives of the concept and reflect on how the idea of “delayed gratification” is a factor - or non factor - in their lives. In light of this conversation, they agree to embark on their 75 Hard Challenge.
On channel memberships the girls will be having a conversation on “The Pros and Cons Of Dating” and surprisingly, they are only able to come up with only 1 pro ! Haha.
